i like Woodhead b/c he can be used on Bye weeks for either position, but that's about it. though he's continually getting more looks diminishing Green-Ellis' worth and Tate's
10/20/2010 3:57:14 PM
Thinking about dropping Tolbert for Chris Ivory's short term value. I'm already stashing Brown with Addai out so I don't have any roster depth. With Matthews back I don't know how much more Tolbert can do especially if he starts to lose his goal-line job.Actually now that I check, Marion Barber is on the waiver wire and I have two RB Flex spots with Felix Jones taking up one this week. Would it be worth losing my 2nd waiver position to grab barber and start them both? I also have Miles Austin so I'm worried about having so many Dallas players. The commissioner of one of my leagues is now 0-6, and he's actually trying to win. I kind of feel bad for him. Not only is he last in points scored, but he also has the most points scored against him by a huge amount. On a better note, I'm 5-1, 4-2, 4-2.[Edited on October 20, 2010 at 6:01 PM. Reason : ]

Dallas Clark out indefinitely.
10/20/2010 6:05:09 PM
^Damn...that hurts. I had already picked up Benjamin Watson, since Indy has their bye week this week. But that sucks.
10/20/2010 6:26:29 PM
Add Clark to my injury list, along with Vick, Floyd, McFadden, and DeShawn Jackson. Glad I picked up Heath Miller last week in anticipation of Ben's return and the upcoming Colts bye week. I actually started Miller in the flex slot b/c he was a better option than my other healthy running back/receiver.W/Clark moving to IR I have a slot I am inclined to use on a Week 8 QB (I have Flacco and Vick, both will be on byes). Should I pick up Bradford vs Carolina or Hasselbeck @ Oakland?[Edited on October 20, 2010 at 6:40 PM. Reason : .]
10/20/2010 6:29:18 PM
I was just offered LT for Randy Moss. Do I take the trade? If so, do I move now or ask him to wait until after the bye?We start 3 WR and 2 RB. My RB2 has been very questionable all season with Knowshon Moreno injured. My WRs aren't flashy, but they've been getting the job done. Randy Moss, Steve Smith, Mike Williams (SEA & TB), Pierre Garcon, Johnny Knox Id'Arian Foster, Marshawn Lynch, Knowshon Moreno, Shonn Greene, Thomas Jones^ I'd probably go with Bradford, but I feel like it's a coin flip.[Edited on October 20, 2010 at 6:49 PM. ^what? keep LT! no brainer.
10/20/2010 6:54:07 PM

^^ I have Randy Moss. I'd be giving him up to get LT.

10/20/2010 8:38:56 PM
^^^Tolbert^Moss, Harvin, Ward. andCJ, medenhall and Charles.
10/20/2010 8:41:26 PM
^x4I wasn't doubting Tolbert over Matthews, but if he didn't sneak in one TD last week I would have had nearly zero production out of him. Once I saw Marion on waivers it seemed like an instant swap because Dallas' defunct offense aside and even if their situations are exactly the same (which they're not), I could tie them together via flex and get points for both Felix' carries and Barber's goal line/short yardage carries when the former's fat ass gets tired and starts puking. :o . Tolbert was a great pickup for me, but if it's time for me to cut ties then so be it.I can see Stewart throwing out some numbers against SF. Matt Moore is back too isn't he?
10/20/2010 9:22:26 PM
^yeah Tolbert has been top 20 RB so far this season, but the gurus all seem to think he will fade into the background.... Either way I wouldnt drop him just yet because A) Ryan Mathews has an ongoing high ankle injury B) Ryan Mathews is still an unproven rookie in terms of stamina C) Ryan Mathews isn't a bowling ball in goal line situations
10/20/2010 9:35:00 PM
Pick 1:Michael Bush @DenverWillis McGahee Buffalo
10/21/2010 2:28:59 AM
Probably Bush, but keep an eye on McFadden's status.
10/21/2010 7:05:07 AM
^ Sounds like McFadden will play. I WOULD NOT play Bush this week unless it's absolutely clear McFadden is out.Pick a QB:Favre vs GBEli vs DallasKolb vs TenI am going with Eli right now as Kolb does not have DeSean and is facing the Titans. Dallas is sucking so I am hoping the Giants D will give Eli a lot of good field position. As for Favre, well I am actually thinking of dropping his ass, but wonder if he'll show up for this GB game.
10/21/2010 7:59:28 AM
Pick one of....Mathews vs. NECrabtree @ CART. Jones vs. JAX
10/21/2010 11:24:45 AM
^^ I'd go with Eli, they are going to have to score a lot to keep up with the Cowboys offense.^ I would go Matthews, just with the hope that he can get a lot of yards, and he will have more opportunities than Crabtree or Jones. Jax run defense looked good against CJ2K last week exPcept for the 30+ yard td run late in the 4th.Pick 1:Orton v OakBig Ben v MiamiPick 1:Vernon Davis v CarTodd Heap v BufThis is purely matchup based, Carolina hasnt given up a TD to a TE yet this year, and Buffalo gives up the most to opposing Tight EndsPick 2:Greg Jennings v GBRyan Torain v ChiHines Ward v Mia[Edited on October 21, 2010 at 12:17 PM. Reason : TE]
10/21/2010 12:15:40 PM
Niners D at Carolina orBodymore D vs BuffaloMoreno vs Oaklandor R Mathews vs New England
10/21/2010 12:26:59 PM
^^1) Orton should have better numbers despite going against an improved Oak Defense.2) Heap hasnt been very good this year. I would go with Davis.3) Jennings got a lot more looks last week, and with Finley out, his numbers should stay up.You have a lot of good choices to choose from though
10/21/2010 12:59:38 PM
Crabtree vs Carolina or OCHOCINCO vs Hotlanta?
10/21/2010 1:07:05 PM
^Crabtree, been playing well lately and if Vernon isnt 100% he should get the ball more. Orton v Oakland or Romo v NYG?
10/21/2010 1:11:20 PM
Would have to go Romo, he is on a killer hot streak right now.HCH thanks for the answer, but who do you think would be better choice between Hines Ward v Mia or Ryan Torain v Chi
10/21/2010 1:27:25 PM
^always play the RB for flex if you are stumped. Especially since Torian should get almost all of the carries, while you are hoping Ward gets 1/3 of the passing looks - much less does anything with them.
10/21/2010 1:37:22 PM
Austin Collie out for a few weeks.
10/21/2010 3:05:08 PM
So looks like Clark is out for a while. Dustin Keller just appeared on our waiver wire, should I drop Clark for Keller or carry 3 TEs for one week (Both Clark and Keller on on BYEs).
10/21/2010 3:31:16 PM
Couple of questions....Moreno or Marshawn Lynch? (leaning towards Lynch)And in my other league, Felix Jones or Marshawn Lynch? (leaning towards Jones)Also, I know Gates has not practiced yet, so I'm planning on picking up a TE for this week (fingers crossed Gates does play, but I want to plan just in case). Which of these guys would you take?Winslow, H Miller, Heap, or Benjamin Watson? Thanks.
10/21/2010 4:20:34 PM
I'd definitely pick up Keller if he's there^^Dammit Austin Collie. When the hell did this happen
10/21/2010 5:06:30 PM
Someone just dropped Floyd in my league. Barring news that his injury isn't going to be prolonged, I'm going to jump on it with my #1 waiver pick.
10/21/2010 5:40:56 PM
Looks like Vincent Jackson will be back in week 12....
10/21/2010 6:21:44 PM
Girlfriend is running low on flex options, who is the better option:Beanie WellsMike TolbertFred JacksonOr she could pick up Chris Ivory since it looks as if Thomas will be out for another week?
10/21/2010 8:21:15 PM
^yikes, i think i would look for a WR as a flex option instead depending on the league size...however, I am in a similar situation in one league and chose Ivory hands down.
10/21/2010 8:57:14 PM
^Thanks. She went with Ivory, Tolbert will probably vulture a td or 2, but who knows..With Desean Jackson out, she also needs to choose between Mike Williams (sea) or Robert Meachem to start as her 3rd WR?
10/21/2010 9:55:22 PM
^I would go with Williams given those choices. None of the Saints recievers have been really reliable week to week.I've got to sit one of these guys, team has been injury riddled this year:Matt Forte Ahmad Bradshaw Marshawn LynchSteve Smith (NYG)Santana Moss Mike Williams (SEA)Which one would you not play?
10/21/2010 10:17:50 PM

J. Forsett v. AriOR M. Tolbert v. NEForecasting rain and wind in Seattle vs. calm sunny skies in San Diego - how does that kind of weather difference effect RBs?
10/21/2010 10:36:09 PM
Potential trade: Michael Turner for Matt SchaubThoughts? I have too many RB's and not a good QB. They have PRiv as their other QB[Edited on October 21, 2010 at 10:52 PM. Reason : .]
10/21/2010 10:51:58 PM
Tolbert^^and ^ look at each QBs up coming schedule and see who has an easier 10 weeks ahead.
10/21/2010 11:06:14 PM
Who to start at my flex?Fred Jackson vs BalTolbert vs NE ( I already have Ryan Mathews starting at RB2)Kenny Britt vs PhillyDanario Alexander vs TB
10/21/2010 11:30:55 PM
Id be leaning towards Britt or JacksonTolbert and matthews is just asking for trouble.Alexander, i just cant seem to trust him.Id probably say Britt but it depends on who is throwing to him
10/22/2010 12:00:05 AM
Should I make this trade. Drew Brees for Andre JohnsonMy team is sitting at 3-3 and I need to make something happen if i hope to make the playoffs. My backup qb is Orton, who has actually been playing better than Brees, I just dont know if he is going to be as consistent. Fwiw, I have been killed by injuries this year at wr. Steve smith and D-Jax are sitting on my bench
10/22/2010 12:56:18 AM
go for itif you need a win, orton is a decent startAndre would get you some big pointsdo it.
10/22/2010 1:08:40 AM
I'd make that trade as well.
10/22/2010 6:23:50 AM
On my bench I have J. Gaffney (WR2 - DEN)D. Bess (WR 2 - MIA)R. Williams (WR1/2? - DAL)should I drop any for D. Woodhead (WR/RB - NE)E. Royal (WR1 - NE) (q for this week but potential long term? or is Gaffney going to take over WR1?)[Edited on October 22, 2010 at 6:45 AM. Reason : very deep league. ]
10/22/2010 6:44:23 AM
^The Pats keep finding ways to get Woodhead the ball, he won't wow you but he'll get you ~7 point per week. Don't drop Bess he has 27 targets in the last 3 games. All of Roy Williams' points come off of TDs and those are hard to predict, he's a big risk/reward guy. I'd drop Gaffney for Royal if it's for the long term. In Denver you want to own Lloyd, Royal, Gaffney, in that order.Pick 2TurnerD. WilliamsMathewsPick 2LloydJenningsD. BoweKnoxPick 1 from the remainder[Edited on October 22, 2010 at 9:39 AM. Reason : .]
10/22/2010 9:38:19 AM
Turner and WilliamsNE will pass all over SD and run up the score so I expect they will abandon the run like they have all seasonLloyd (for reason stated above) and Jennings (no Finley = texa$ for Jennings)For Flex, I would probably go with Mathews if you get PPR. If you don't, Bowe.
10/22/2010 10:12:44 AM
im being offered Arian Foster for MJD in a dynasty league. should i take it?
10/22/2010 11:12:55 AM
^Try to get more. You know what you are going to get with MJD over the 2-3 years. I think Foster might be more of an uncertainty. Is it too early to pick up V Jax?
