so who's the new #1Oregon - idle this weekorBoise State - stomping San Jose State 48-0 in the thirdthank god South Carolina lost. the amount of gamecock shit i saw last week was ridiculous.
10/16/2010 10:12:43 PM
oh shit, block of the year in the Bama game
10/16/2010 10:19:33 PM
credit to wisconsin for being the better team, but I'll be goddamned if Ohio State didn't underperform tonight. Same story as a lot of games this year: no WR separation, OL can't dominate, DL not pressuring the other QB, but tonight, the talent disparity wasn't there that helped the Buckeyes win the first 5 games.
10/16/2010 10:21:06 PM
I think there is no question Oregon goes to number 1. Just a matter of if the pollsters finally move Boise and TCU up or if they simply move Oklahoma and Auburn past them to make sure they dont get into the top 2 spots.
10/16/2010 10:23:21 PM
With all the ranked teams dropping state could have really jumped up. Way to shit the bed state.
10/16/2010 10:29:07 PM
^^^Ohio State got exposed as an overrated football team; who besides the Miami game has played a group of football nobodies^^yeah, I think Oregon is #1, this week is the week BSU gets to #2. [Edited on October 16, 2010 at 10:30 PM. Reason : ^s][Edited on October 16, 2010 at 10:34 PM. Reason : .]

^i disagree with your assessment that Ohio State underperformed, they finally got tested on the road in a hostile situation. tOSU is a top 25 team, and they may well win out, but they haven't convinced me they were ever worthy of a #1 or #2 ranking
10/16/2010 10:54:11 PM
oh, I never thought that they're the best team in the country. I think they're top 10, but that's about it. They have no offensive identity, and their secondary is suspect.
10/16/2010 10:56:18 PM
might was well end the locker for heisman talk along with the wilson for heisman. Both of them are turnover pronejust make that newton guy the next winner -- another in the long line of mediocre players on winning teams
10/17/2010 1:17:56 AM
mediocre??? hes been fucking nuts this year
10/17/2010 1:44:46 AM
Yeah I couldnt argue with Newton if he won it at this point in the season. Auburn would be a .500 team at best without him.
10/17/2010 3:29:19 AM
LSU @ Auburn Saturday @ 3:30.
10/17/2010 4:01:18 AM
I bet Auburn is thanking him everyday for stealing that laptop.
10/17/2010 5:11:45 AM
For those talking about who #1 will be, from the looks of it Oregon will be #1 in the humans and Boise #1 in the computers and BCS. That will, of course, change as the season goes on.Frankly, I'm hoping Boise stays undefeated and Nevada finishes with only 1-loss. I want to see Boise play in the MNC game. It will freak the fuck out the Big 10 and SEC fans, which is always funny. The complaining will be annoying, though.Re: Ohio State. They are good, but frankly I think Boise will have the better win over an ACC team by the end of the season. Va Tech >>> Miami.[Edited on October 17, 2010 at 8:53 AM. Reason : x]
10/17/2010 8:52:14 AM
Oregon State losing last night didnt help Boise or TCU. Boise really needs to keep hoping Va Tech stays on a roll and wins the ACC that would really help their cause. Also Nevada lost last night so that hurts a little.[Edited on October 17, 2010 at 11:42 AM. Reason : .]

no shit that tweet is fuckin moneyfuck that it needed to be said and its fuckin true, fans are freakin pricks that think because they thrw out a lil money they can treat people how they wannaif i were the coach i would buy all the players twitter plus accounts...or whatever
10/18/2010 11:27:58 AM
I don't necessarily disagree with it, but anyone at UK knows it will forever and always be a basketball school, despite playing SEC football. No chance of football ever eclipsing basketball in that state. It's not like NC State where we're a football school (until week 6 usually) and then a basketball school (until January 15th) and then a football school again.
10/18/2010 11:28:32 AM
thats why the tweet is money
10/18/2010 11:29:16 AM
I would ban tweet from my players...but I wouldn't be mad if they said that to a newspaper reporter or something.Tweet and facebook are too dangerous to the program. Kids that age aren't smart enough to know what they can and cannot say.[Edited on October 18, 2010 at 11:36 AM. Reason : .]

10/21/2010 7:14:42 AM
ESPN's lineup of Thursday night games this year has been...strange.State has two Thursday night home games, which may be an ACC scheduling issue (one is great, two is more of a hassle as far as taking time off work and abbreviated tailgates especially for fans from out of town. Then they hit us with a West Coast game tonight starting at 9. Maybe I am just getting old, but while I am interested in a UCLA-Oregon game it's not worth staying up late when I have to head into work the next morning. Maybe if it was two top ten teams it might be different.
10/21/2010 8:12:53 AM
I'm kind of impressed that they got that game scheduled for 9pm. Since that's only 6pm out on the left coast then those fans who actually planned on working until 5 will have a hell of a time making it to the game for kickoff, especially if they actually want to eat any food in the interim.
10/21/2010 8:44:56 AM
No they should only think of the East Coast. I don't care where the game is being played.
