I was gonna go play pick up this morning, but due to catching some bug last night I'll be watching this game in bed.
4/3/2010 7:45:43 AM
first 10 minutes belong to United but you can tell they're a little lost without having Rooney as a target once they get to the final 3rd
4/3/2010 7:57:13 AM
4/3/2010 7:58:06 AM
Joe Cole Goal.on second view, what a flick.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 8:06 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 8:05:34 AM
great goaland we could possibly be seeing more of that in OT next year...
4/3/2010 8:06:49 AM
Close, but I agree on the no call.Scholes with another horse shit challenge, no card.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 8:14 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 8:13:32 AM
Neville just jumped on Anelka in the box and somehow United escaped without conceding a penalty. So far, Chelsea have dominated midfield.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 8:19 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 8:17:09 AM
cool no-call there too
4/3/2010 8:18:59 AM
Are you saying that wasn't a penalty? That most certainly deserved a spot kick. And the disgrace that is Paul Scholes finally receives a yellow.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 8:21 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 8:20:26 AM
haha, that was a clear-cut penalty (to bring our argument over from CL)United better get a lucky goal or a break soon because a Chelsea 2nd seems extremely probable[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 8:22 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 8:21:26 AM
Drogba looks pissed on the bench, lol.Lampard gets lucky, but does get all of the ball in the box while subsequently taking down Berbatov.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 8:30 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 8:23:05 AM
why the hell was Berbs cutting back on that chance?
4/3/2010 8:30:22 AM
cause he's Berbs
4/3/2010 8:33:57 AM
lol but where would that cut have taken him, backwards and away from goal... how would that have helped? Rooney would have taken it somehow, at the very least a toe poke of some kind if that's what it took
4/3/2010 8:36:31 AM
Berbalol. Dude is trying too hard. However, United is looking threatening for the first time today.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 9:03 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 9:00:16 AM
true, totally different second half from them
4/3/2010 9:08:26 AM
Not only couldn't he see that, there wasn't much to see. That's no handball.Drogba offsided goal is allowed. Looks like a change at the top of the table.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 9:23 AM. Reason : ]
4/3/2010 9:16:47 AM
see, here's one of those moments I love Drogbaoffsides by a good two or three steps, LOL[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 9:22 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 9:22:33 AM
What a terrible no call
4/3/2010 9:22:50 AM
Macheda finished - sort of?
4/3/2010 9:25:18 AM
haha clinical finish from Macheda
4/3/2010 9:25:33 AM
count it
4/3/2010 9:25:58 AM
Cool depth discrepancy:Macheda and Nani vs. Drogba, Kalou, and Ballack
4/3/2010 9:27:34 AM
Well that [sort of] handball into the net offsets Drogba's [blatant] offside, so we're where we should be.Berbatov almost redeemed his sleeper of a game.[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 9:34 AM. Reason : .]
4/3/2010 9:28:00 AM
WOO HOO
4/3/2010 9:38:37 AM
Wow, Darren Bent should've scored 4 today, but has missed 2 PKs
4/3/2010 12:07:32 PM
This City game is ridiculous
4/3/2010 1:54:34 PM
god damn, 6-1?City couldn't do that against another team, though.
4/3/2010 2:10:51 PM
I was pulling for Tottenham, but they were up against it from the first minute after that corner went in.That third goal from Zenden was sweet, though, I don't think I've seen a better goal live in recent memory.
4/3/2010 2:21:54 PM
you havent been watching any soccer then. he hit it in with his shin. great goal but somewhat fluky
4/3/2010 3:25:43 PM
http://todayfoot.com/Football/?p=10773Given the fact that the ball was crossed from the right side, he struck it on a volley with the left, and it struck the underside of the crossbar on the right hand side of the goal, I'd consider that a great goal. Just because it wasn't struck with a perfect instep drive doesn't make it unimpressive.(And I watch a decent amount of soccer, but most goals don't involve nearly that confluence of circumstances or placement...just as an opinion, what is the best goal that you've seen in the past few months, and in a game you were watching, not just a highlight reel?)[Edited on April 3, 2010 at 9:14 PM. 4/3/2010 9:11:48 PM
ive seen a lot of great goals live all season. they had a barca game on espn recently and one of messi's goals with his hat-trick was incredible. beat like 3 men in the box before finishing with his off-foot...if i remember correctly (i dont think it was his left since he was on the right).i wanna say i saw another or 2 of his goals live that were great. there may have been another in that same game that was incredible. i feel like there are so many great goals week in and week out thats it hard to remember all the ones you see. ill prob forget about this goal in a couple weeks.
4/3/2010 9:43:06 PM
Okay, you were right. That goal was sick. Point retracted.
4/3/2010 9:53:14 PM
I just saw the Zenden goal, that was pretty tight
4/3/2010 11:37:09 PM
4/4/2010 12:13:27 AM
crouch straight up used turner as a step ladder on his goal
4/4/2010 12:45:54 AM
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=765978&sec=england&cc=5901Aaron Ramsey: still a little bitch.
4/4/2010 10:08:02 AM
well i dont like to argue against a good goal, but im more than halfway certain it was off his shin. you dont have to hit it perfect to stop the spin when you redirect the ball. you just have to take the spin off. i saw the game live in HD yesterday and both my dad and i saw it go in off his shin...^^^ill try to find that messi goal.^gd...i felt sorry for both players, but im starting to dislike ramsey's approach on this...he is a little bitch. glad he went to arsenal and not united.that goal was his first from this game. his 2nd was pretty good too. his 3rd goal was the one with his right foot. the good goal was actually his left. i got them mixed uphttp://www.footytube.com/video/fc-barcelona-vs-valencia-3-0-all-goals-hd-720p-14-03-2010-36951[Edited on April 4, 2010 at 10:20 AM. See, I thought you were talking about the 2nd goal versus Zaragoza, which was the one I looked at here.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rK6vyUQ6kQThe first one you showed I was not as impressed with. I mean, it was good, but I think I still like the Zenden goal better than the first Valencia goal.
4/4/2010 10:50:47 AM
hahaha tim howard epic PK save post kick

4/4/2010 5:14:51 PM
aha that's hilarious
4/4/2010 5:34:47 PM
hahaha hes trying to keep him healthy so he can bring him to juventus next season.watching gamecast, i too, wondered why he came off with the score 1-1 in like the 65th minute or whenever it was
4/4/2010 6:35:22 PM
there are many mysterious things in the world, but most of them make sense if you think about them hard enough and figure them outbut Rafe Benitez regularly makes coaching moves that are simply inexplicablewhich must be pretty amusing if you don't root for Liverpool...but is very galling if you do
4/4/2010 6:47:55 PM
i have a feeling gerrard could manage this team to better results than benitez
