man...i have too many WRs...Calvin JohnsonReggie WayneSteve SmithDonald DriverEddie RoyalRoy WilliamsMarques Colstonshould i work a trade for a RB? i have Bush, Slaton, Thomas Jones...???
11/3/2008 6:42:11 PM
No, you should continue to enjoy the quiet dignity of leading your league in points scored on the bench.
11/3/2008 6:51:57 PM
you at least need another RB. remember that in the playoffs you need the best starting lineup. the bench is important for matchups and stuff, but do you want to have to choose in the playoffs between 4-5 top WRs for 3 spots?it's better to get value for those guys and have a few solid RBs, especially with Bush out.
11/3/2008 8:06:32 PM
^^it does suck. i usually leave 30-40 pts on the bench...especially with royal blowing up every other week with return yards. sigh...i need a rb...
11/3/2008 8:33:30 PM
heath miller better get 15 fuckin yards tonight
11/3/2008 9:25:51 PM
i thought Parker was gonna be out for this gameo well, i should have started him instead of Jamal Lewisdangit
11/3/2008 10:53:43 PM
Thank you Steelers D. I overcame a 13 point deficit, with my opponent having Jeff Reed at kicker. I win by 5, thanks to the D.
11/3/2008 11:59:59 PM
Got offered Curtis and Andre Johnson for Evans and Fitzgerald......what do you think?V yeah I have him on a team....but Sage still gets it to Andre....I was leaning no. [Edited on November 4, 2008 at 12:19 AM. Reason : Schaub]
11/4/2008 12:06:58 AM
schaub is out, yo
11/4/2008 12:11:59 AM
Survived the onslaught of the Steelers D and Clinton Portis to take over first place with a .3 point victory.Question for this coming week:Pick 2:Tim Hightower vs San FranVincent Jackson vs KCBraylon Edwards vs DenverDwayne Bowe vs San Diego[Edited on November 4, 2008 at 12:45 AM. Reason : ?]
11/4/2008 12:40:08 AM
Hightower and Braylon......well Hightower for sure. All 3 WRs could be good. Chambers is back in SD though so Vincent goes back to #2. Braylon will have Brady Quinn throwing him too. Chiefs still suck.
11/4/2008 12:48:17 AM
Tim Hightower vs San FranVincent Jackson vs KCKC SUCKS against big WR's. Look what Bryant did last weekend.
11/4/2008 8:45:44 AM
Either way, you can't not start Hightower. I would've assumed Edge would still get 5-10 touches last weekend, they seem to have complete faith in Hightower and if I owned him I would too till he proves otherwise.
11/4/2008 3:44:37 PM
I'm thinking Hightower is a top 10 overall play this week
11/4/2008 3:45:34 PM
Yeah I have to say.... dropping Edgerrin James for Hightower 3 weeks ago was bold to start with, but it seems it will start paying big dividends.
11/4/2008 6:44:56 PM
Who would you rather use a waiver on for a season-long 3rd RBJamaal CharlesRay Rice
11/4/2008 7:31:45 PM
Ray Charles orJamaal Rice
11/4/2008 7:32:31 PM
I hate how he spells it jamaalI feel like I have to stretch out the 'a' whenever I say it
11/4/2008 7:41:22 PM
I always want to say Dwyane Wade differentlyDeweyane
11/4/2008 7:43:09 PM
sooooooI would say Charles over Rice based on the fact that Charles has an easier schedule
11/4/2008 7:59:47 PM
I have Charles and I think he is the better option. Rice is a good pickup, but Harbaugh has not fully committed to him and you could reasonably see a lot of Willis if he can get healthy. On the other hand, Charles is the only option for KC, with Johnson not playing at all next week (and maybe longer) and Smith gone for the year.
11/4/2008 8:33:31 PM
dont know how much this will affect anything fantasy-wise but I think its pretty damn funny. Deangelo Hall likely to be released by the Raiders very soonhahaha
11/4/2008 8:43:04 PM
so this is not so much fantasy advicebut my commish set waiver to 3 days which means friday am we find out. with thurs game starting it would be nice to move it back to 2 days. anybody know if he can still do that?espn league
11/4/2008 8:43:18 PM
trade advice:GET:marshawn lynchLOSE:andre johnsonCurrent RBs:AddaiGrantJamaal CharlesTJ DuckettJonathan StewartCurrent WRs:Andre JohnsonChad JohnsonDwayne BoweMichael JenkinsIke HilliardNote:I am 2-7 in the league and need quick help if I want to make the playoffs.
11/4/2008 10:12:59 PM
Ive got Derek Anderson and Tony Romo in one league, so obviously a new QB is needed. My options are Flacco, Collins and obviously Quinn. I wouldnt consider Flacco, but hes doing pretty good considering, and I won with him in another league last week.
11/5/2008 6:31:05 AM
^^ How many do you start? If you only start 2 rb's and 2 wr's I think you are set with your current team. I think AJ is one of the top 5 receivers, if not top 3 week to week and I don't think the loss of Schaub will hurt him that bad. Your RB's aren't too bad, Charles could be a force from here out and I only think Grant and Addai will improve (albeit slowly) as the season progresses.^ Flacco or Quinn aren't too bad of options till Romo comes back. Probably Flacco would be my first choice though.[Edited on November 5, 2008 at 8:25 AM. Reason : a]
11/5/2008 8:24:35 AM
This question would've been crazy a few weeks agobut someone offered me Peyton Manning for Tim Hightower and I'm leaning toward rejecting itI got ROFL, Pennington and I just picked up Rosenfels as my QB'sI got Jamal Lewis, J Stewart, Mcgahee, McFadden and FWP as my RB'sSmart call, or am I blinded by Hightower's upside ?
11/5/2008 8:55:07 AM
peyton should get back to form by the end of the season, riight?People got Charles and Ray Rice before I did. Need to find other diamonds in the rough.....
11/5/2008 9:29:40 AM
While Peyton is definitely having a down year the main problem with Hightower is his rough playoff schedule. Indy however does have a very favorable playoff schedule for Peyton (Cin, Det, @Jax). Although looking at it none of your RB's really seem to have a great schedule. Peyton might come up big for you in those last few games and could win your playoff matchups on his own, in my opinion Hightower can't.
11/5/2008 9:31:12 AM
Yeah the schedules are the tricky partI'm 4-5 so my main focus is just getting to the playoffs right now
11/5/2008 9:34:48 AM
Yeah, I mean I think its a trade you have to take. We don't know how Hightower will hold up as the feature back, he might go down with an injury next week or Edge might start taking carries, I think while he has a ton of upside right now hes still a potential bust.
11/5/2008 9:54:44 AM
RYAN TORAIN v. Cle ORJAMAAL CHARLES v. SD
11/5/2008 10:26:04 AM
I think I'm going to take it but wait until the lineups are locked for this weekPeytons got a bad matchup with Pitt so I wouldn't play him anywayand Hightower should be able to stomp SF
11/5/2008 10:29:49 AM
Pick 3Wayne @ PittColston @ AtlCurtis v. NYGBurress @ PhiA. Gonzalez @ PittIt's really between the top 4 there. Colston and Burress are so inconsistent, and Wayne has a brutal matchup. The only one I really feel confident about is Curtis. He had 11 targets last week, so he's very active.thoughts?
11/5/2008 10:43:26 AM
^^ Good idea, that should work for you.^I'd play Wayne, Colston and Curtis, which seems to be who you were leaning towards. I think Colston will get it going, give him and Brees more time to get their connection going again, hes too talented not to produce.
11/5/2008 11:17:51 AM
you cant sit Burress over Curtis, cmonanyhow, got a decision to makeFavre is my mine QB in one league. I need to pick up a backup for him.Should I go with Rosenfels who has had a 220 yd 1TD game or more each game that he has played this season or chance it with Brady Quinn
11/5/2008 11:49:34 AM
Depends on how needy you are. Sage will be there 2-3 weeks and be a solid play since he and AJ have good chemistry. But if you're looking for the rest of the year, Quinn could be a decent play, they do have Denver this week and he has some weapons. So I missed on Hightower on waivers, but I picked up Jamaal Charles, hopefully that works out long-term.So weekly start'em issues: (* is current starter)RB:*T. Jones vs. STL (he's been hot lately)J. Lewis vs. Den (he's been ok but Denver is terrible)QB:*M. Ryan vs. NO (he just gets better each week, NO D isn't scary)J. Delhomme vs. Oak(usually a no-brainer for a QB play against Oak but I think they'll run the ball early and often)
11/5/2008 12:06:55 PM
no question play T.Jones against STL who has a terrible defense overall (if CLE goes down quick against Denver's ridiculous pass game, they will abandon the run)definitely start Delhomme against the worst team in the NFL (IMO)[Edited on November 5, 2008 at 12:22 PM. Reason : .]
11/5/2008 12:20:46 PM
honestly, i was thinking leon washington might be a better play against STL than thomas jones. washington has that big play ability and will likely get the work after the game is a blowout (favre/cotch/coles big early).the trade i was considering earlier (lose andre, get marshawn)... i countered with sending andre away for marshawn + chris chambers. i like that a lot better. i am last in the league and need help NOW if i want to make a push for the playoffs. i think marshawn/chambers would help me more immediately than andre will. he probably won't accept it though."RYAN TORAIN v. Cle ORJAMAAL CHARLES v. SD"I would go with Charles.... I think that game turns into some kind of freakish shootout. I'm not sold on Torain yet (but I'm not sold on Charles either..) so whatever, but I'd go Charles.[Edited on November 5, 2008 at 12:38 PM. Reason : 1]
11/5/2008 12:36:46 PM
pick 2:ryan cant do shit grant vs MINjoseph let me addai vs. pitjamaal charles vs sdjonathan stewart vs oaktj duckett vs mia*I am 2-7 and need to win out to make the playoffs... I need POINTS/TDS! I can't really afford to play a guy who "might have a good day"... I need points. Duckett?
11/5/2008 12:40:09 PM
would you trade M.Barber and F.Gore?
11/5/2008 3:44:24 PM
No, Barbers value will drop when jones is back.
11/5/2008 4:10:19 PM
Delhomme vs Oaklandor Cutler vs. Cleveland?
11/5/2008 4:34:38 PM
Delhomme[Edited on November 5, 2008 at 4:37 PM. Reason : Oakland's offense is terrible][Edited on November 5, 2008 at 4:38 PM. Reason : meaning Carolina will have a lot of time of posession]
11/5/2008 4:37:05 PM
I need advice, it seems like all my WRs are virtually equal in potential fantasy points.Pick 3 WRs Plaxico vs. EaglesMatt Jones (jaguars) vs. LionsEddie Royal vs. BrownsMuhammad vs. RaidersLance Moore vs. FalconsAnd which kicker? both have pretty good matchupsKasay vs raiders, or Elam vs saints?
11/5/2008 5:12:00 PM
^^i'd go plaxico, royal, and moose.but i'm not sure how good matt jones is this year.as far as kicker goes, i'd choose kasay. dude is guaranteed at least 1-2 field goals a game
11/5/2008 6:44:07 PM
Rivers or Cutler? I know PRiv is going against a worse pass defense and is at home (and isn't playing on 4 days rest)
11/6/2008 3:32:03 AM
Projected: 141-66hahahaedit: he has one bye and one injured player he will change... so probably 141-75ish. Still fun.[Edited on November 6, 2008 at 5:41 AM. Reason : a]

start tworonnie brown (vs sea, 21st rush d)matt forte (vs ten, 10th rush d)marshawn lynch (at NE, 15th rush d)steve slaton (vs bal, 4th rush d)ewwwwim leaning towards lynch and brown, but want to know more about orton's status.
