Kansas has a basketball tradition dating back 120 years to the founder of the game. I think that pretty much breaks any ties...
4/8/2008 11:15:30 AM
Duke has Coach K, and had Vic Bubas.Kansas's program was started by James Naismith. They have since had Phog Allen, Larry Brown, Roy Williams, Bill Self, etc. Adolph Rupp and Dean Smith learned from Phog Allen, not to mention John McLendon, Ralph Miller, and Dutch Lonborg (HOFers). Kansas wins.

You forgot one stat....20,000 women banged by Wilt Chamberlain
4/8/2008 11:34:05 AM
^ I thought it was 10,000?
4/8/2008 11:45:22 AM
Notice in that picture that Roy is wearing his Championship UNC ring.
4/8/2008 1:11:55 PM
Nevermind, 20,000 is right. I think Wilt exaggerated b/c for that to be true, he would have had to had sex with 1.14 women per day from the age of 15 up until the day of his death, a rate of almost eight women a week, and they say he was really shy when he was young and didn't break out of his shell until he was older.
4/8/2008 1:26:39 PM
just to be clear, i don't think roy should be fired, thats stupid. people talking like that are mentally challenged and most likely never attended the university anyway
4/8/2008 7:36:36 PM
still cant believe memphis blew it last night.those guys are going to have that ghost in their subconscious the rest of their lives.
4/8/2008 11:00:09 PM
4/8/2008 11:04:12 PM
I think mainly just one "what if" scenario...what if we didn't shoot free throws like ben wallace?
4/8/2008 11:07:46 PM
yeah but "what if rose had made both FTs"..."what if Hyphenated-Lastname made just 1 free throw"..."what if Chalmers wasn't such a beast"i'll happily collect my bracket pool winnings since i picked kansas to go all the way, but Memphis SHOULD have won that game and they're not going to forget about it anytime soon...i'll bet the game was like 95% of their thoughts today...it would suck to be them]
4/8/2008 11:09:29 PM
thanks for the breakdown bill rafftree
4/8/2008 11:11:33 PM

4/8/2008 11:22:10 PM

4/8/2008 11:31:54 PM
i'm coming up empty...but gg on lundtwist...you didnt simply settle for the easy long e sound pun[Edited on April 8, 2008 at 11:39 PM. Reason : LONG e sound...short e sound is "eh"]
4/8/2008 11:36:27 PM
thanks...i'd been relying too much on the 'ee' sound...couldn't find a good person for the 'twist' part of your name till I though of Verne
4/8/2008 11:38:08 PM
i would have never thought picking kansas just cause it was the team roy williams use to coach for would cause me to correctly make my ncaa bball bracket
4/9/2008 2:22:01 AM
when kansas was 20-0 to start this season, them and memphis were the only 2 undefeated teams at the timethat trend apparently played out throughout the tourney
