44 touchdowns will still not be enough to get them to .500 with their defense[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 2:19 AM. Reason : ]

OH WE BACK
9/15/2013 4:50:34 PM
Outside of Brian Cushing and his superman interception, rivers has looked great this season.
9/15/2013 5:18:56 PM
9/15/2013 8:15:52 PM
Ryan Matthews has to be the worst starting RB in the league.
9/15/2013 8:22:35 PM
He's really not that bad. Definitely better than anyone the Steelers can put out there.
9/15/2013 9:11:01 PM
Tolbert is the worst
9/15/2013 9:26:02 PM
he may not be the worst, but he wasn't worth trading up to 12th overall (and associated salary) in 2010
9/15/2013 9:30:53 PM
It was a rough couple of years no doubt but rivers is a good fucking QB. The lack of protection has made him force shit and try and make plays
9/15/2013 9:38:27 PM
I was flipping through the channels last week and saw Phillip doing an interview on the 700 club (Pat Robertson) talking about his faith. It was terrible. http://www.cbn.com/tv/2666256965001
9/16/2013 11:43:50 AM
Terrible b/c you have a different worldview?
9/16/2013 2:18:14 PM
Glad to see him playing well, and actually coming through in the clutch to get them in FG position. I can't even remember the last time he's won a game like that, even before he completely unraveled the past couple seasons.
9/16/2013 2:27:37 PM
9/16/2013 2:33:13 PM
For what it was, I thought the interview was okay. For those that can actually believe it and all
9/16/2013 3:00:18 PM
^ this. Don't tell that to a liberal blowhard like Bullet though.
9/16/2013 3:03:33 PM
if you don't think Pat Robertson is a nut and the 700 club is a front, you might be a gullible far-right nut-job yourself (if you want to start namecalling, you moron).
9/16/2013 3:11:03 PM
I know Robertson has said a ton of bat shit crazy stuff, but wasn't he the one that said last year that the tornadoes that hit the midwest could've been avoided if more people prayed them away?

^^you seem to be missing the point. i didn't bash him because of his Christianity. i already knew he was a very devout christian, everyone knows that. i bashed him for appearing on the 700 Club and associating himself with Pat Robertson, who is an awful human being, at least that's the way he's portrayed himself on tv for decades. And I'm bashing you for saying that makes me a "liberal blowhard" and using the phrase "liberal ilk".
9/16/2013 5:58:57 PM
Today I learned that there are no liberal Christiansthxu rflong

9/16/2013 6:20:03 PM
i will point out a couple specifics: he claimed his priorities are "faith, family, and football". If you actually like and care about your family, how could you put your faith over that? I did find it comical how he described his rated G trash-talking.Anyways, my bad for diverting this thread.... but it is "all things Phillip Rivers", and they just aired the interview last week. I'm still a fan and i hope he's still got a few semi-successful seasons left in him.
9/16/2013 6:33:48 PM
35 for 42, 401 yards, 3 TD and an INT on a tipped pass. norv wasted rivers...but not as badly as brees wasted tomlinson.
9/29/2013 8:41:17 PM
hes no Josh Nesbitt
9/29/2013 8:47:58 PM
oh jibbles
9/29/2013 9:48:04 PM
well he isnt.Didnt say Nesbitt was better, just said they arent the same.I miss Nesbitt. Vad is horrible.
9/29/2013 10:07:00 PM
He's also no Reginald VelJohnson
9/29/2013 10:43:41 PM
Picked on former UNC lber Bruce Carter for both of Woodhead's TDs. Suck it hole.

this will be a career-defining game for Philip
10/6/2013 11:44:35 PM
Doesn't seem to be going well tonight. Past Phil's bedtime. He had to be up early for Sunday school.
10/7/2013 12:44:14 AM
i bet on the chargers. sorry guys/phil.
10/7/2013 12:45:38 AM
rivers has to be the career leader in nfl history for delay of games

7th kid about to be bornreeeeaaaaallllly hope that his brood won't be the next Duggar clan
10/14/2013 11:48:25 PM
haha, did he just talk shit?
10/14/2013 11:48:31 PM
fun stats:Phil is now #40 all time passing yardage. if he throws for a measly average of 275/game for the rest of the season, he'll move into the top-30, passing some big names like Cunningham, McNair, Brunell, Jurgensen, and Warner. if he stays healthy, he'll pass Tittle, Young, Aikman, and Simms by Week 4 of next season

Its like Sloth from the GooniesMmmmmmm Baby Ruth!!!
10/15/2013 11:03:05 AM
Rivers had to tell his coach not to throw the challenge flag on a turnover...but it was too late and refs charged them for a TO
10/20/2013 3:24:25 PM
got his 30,000th passing yard today. moved into 38th all-time
10/20/2013 10:54:34 PM
I hope Rivers can set the current mark for consecutive games played by a qb. I think it's between him and E. Manning, with Manning having the edge because he got the start sooner.
10/20/2013 11:19:09 PM
2nd in the league in passing yards behind only Peyton. Imagine if he had Peyton's WRs (cue Jaybee rant)
