44!The video game looks like Tomb Raider, but much more frustrating. If you beat the game do you get to figure out what the hell is going on? ]

key word "loved", suggests that Jacob is no longer alive in the classic sense... also verifies that Jacob is known to the "Others" to have special powers bestowed to him by God...hmmm.... February
7/30/2007 11:47:36 AM
In one of the youtube comments I thought they said that that phrase was in another 'station intro video'. That rabbit shit was freaky though!

Anyone have a copy of the season 3 dvds? I'll pay for them, or pay to have a copy of them burned... my internet is hella slow and takes forever to torrent stuff.
8/30/2007 10:20:04 PM

Okay so at the very beginning of the summer I got into Lost and watched all three seasons. I just finished season 3 last night. As I was watching, I also looked up the old threads from like 2005 and followed along with you guys and one thing that I am surprised hasn't even been mentioned is that Kate could have teh herp. Back in Season 1, when Jack was diagnosing Sawyer for the headaches, it was made pretty clear that Sawyer had some kind of STD...
9/21/2007 1:55:54 PM
I dunno. When does the new season start? I think I heard February.
9/21/2007 6:58:10 PM
^^ something like that is why i like to go back and watch tv on dvd (especially this tv on dvd) continuously, all in a weekend or somethingyou get the continuity and remember things you wouldn't remember otherwise on a week-to-week basis, and sometimes you can catch neat things like kate's herp or even catch the writers in an inconsistency (though not usually on this show in particular)

the island's healing factor wiped out sawyer's std long before he stuck it in.stupid made-up plot hole resolved.
9/22/2007 2:52:31 AM
That was jack joking around with sawyer, the headaches were caused by his eye site. And in reference to the "god loves you as he loves jacob", thats the same thing thats said in the video carl is being forced to watch before he gets rescued by sawyer and kate. I am stoked for this season though, its going to be intense...
9/22/2007 2:54:30 AM
i just want to know if flash forwards are replacing flashbacks.
9/22/2007 10:50:38 AM
I think one of the producers said it would be 50/50.
9/22/2007 11:09:23 AM
They've said flashbacks, flashforwards and flashes. I'm guessing referring to either Desmonds flashes or to short flashbacks from the island.
9/23/2007 12:04:44 PM
im watching the last few episodes now...and lock just got shot in the stomach...i fuckin love lock and they better not mess with him
12/13/2007 2:12:54 AM
He dies. Not coming back. Ever.
12/13/2007 2:19:10 AM
Rumors are Lost will be indeed be starting in Feb and running through the eight episodes that have been completed but now on a different night other than Wednesday.
12/13/2007 10:00:01 AM
I heard from a coworker that the writers from Lost crossed the picket line and will continue writing the episodes for the 2008 season.
12/13/2007 10:04:59 AM
^I HIGHLY doubt that...theyd have a hard time finding new jobs once Lost wrapped up...plus it would be mentioned somewhere.
12/13/2007 1:05:21 PM
^^i believe what happened was they crossed the line to put finishign touches on the first 8 episodes, because they didnt want some scrubs comin in and altering the story. they said they hated to do it, but they owed it to the fans to make those 8 episodes right.
12/13/2007 5:48:15 PM
This has ruined my life. I can't last until February, I wish I had of waited until all of LOST was finished to start season 1 and watch the entire thing through without waiting. I am connected like I have never been connected to anything. LOST is the greatest thing ever created.

Does anyone else think about the father theme? There has to be something up with every character having a shitty father or dealing with one or some type of fatherhood crisis. There was even a possible foreshadowing reference in Locke's flashback when the cop says "looking for a daddy like a all the rest of you". Also all the people were in Australia for the wrong reasons and all the people who were not really doing anything meaningful have died on the island. Maybe Jacob has something to do with this theme coming into play.what about the hell/purgatory theory? When/how did they get "the man from Tallahassee" to the island? I understand they wrecked and kidnapped him but how did they get him to the island? How else would you explain the plane and bodies being found in real life and the island existing in its own world but within the pacific?Did Russo kill her team like Ben said or did ben just assume that since it was the smoke monster? How did the dharma company on the mainland just go away after their initiative was hijacked? Why is ben the only other that ages? The man he met as a child is now younger than him. Is this just because they didn't want to get another actor? How did Ben get the Portland facility?
12/14/2007 1:52:23 AM
i replaced the season gap of lost with heroes 1 and 2 now im finished with those and dont know what to watch(lately its been seinfeld)but i want something good lost is like 3x better than heroes
12/14/2007 1:54:09 AM
My theory is that space-time on the island is warped. I think it's possible that the flight 815 has crashed twice (once in the pacific with no survivors and once on the island). At the very least, I think there are "copies" of people/animals involved. This is why they're supposed to be isolated on the island so that they don't come into contact with other versions of themselves (kind of an anti-matter type thing). This is where the "numbers" tie in, as they represent the probability of meeting your "twin."I think it's possible that ben's friend (who doesn't age) dates back to the black rock. I think that Walt's special power is that he has the ability to project himself (and possibly other manifestations such as polar bears) to other people. This mostly ties back to early on in one of the seasons somebody asking Walt's father is walt has ever appeared somewhere he shouldn't be. Then again, this is all probably BS and by the third episode of the 4th season, will learn everything i've speculated is wrong. I feel fairly certain about the twin correlation and space-time warp (suggested with the numerous book cameos in the show, brief history of time, twin paradox, etc.)If you want to really get far out there, I think it's possible that this isn't the first time Jack has been to the island on a plane crash. I'd also like to speculate that Jack getting the tattoo in Asia occurrs after he gets off the island for the first time (where he uses his golden ticket to fly across the pacific every weekend) and virtually everything we've seen on the island thus far is really the second go around. I think this is total BS though as the producers have negated the idea of time travel in the traditional sense outside of what happened to Desmond.this show is like crack.

I mentioned this in another Lost thread a few weeks ago, but it seems to be generally forgotten that Ethan had pretty much superhuman strength back in Season 1. There has been no mention of any of the others having strength powers, but there are obvious indications of other "powers" like that dude not aging, and Jacob going invisible or whatever. And how come the island didn't "heal" Sawyer's eyes when he needed glasses?[Edited on December 14, 2007 at 9:33 AM.
