I, too, am doing chill raiding on my warrior. I can't say MoP has been the most interesting, but at least it has more accessible content if you cant commit 3-4 days a week.

Based on some audio files of the Wrathion legendary questline (the burning legion will soon return to azeroth, lands will be destroyed, etc..) that BC 2.0 will be up next.

Im casual as hell and my raid availability fluctuates due to my other half being a nurse. Im down for something 7/8 to 10/11 est. Im down for 10 or 25 normal modes, i could careless about beating my head on heroics.

I still play but casual now as well. Life doesnt really allow me to raid hardcore anymore. I pretty much just do LFR now when I have the time and do things like pet battles. I'll admit I am sorta looking forward to the new hearthstone card game as I think it will be fun and require not a lot of time.

I've been playing a dps warrior pseudo-casually since launch. they were super OP in PvP until they got nerf bat slapped in 5.2. PvE they're pretty good dps, but a la cataclysm, outshined by ranged classes.

I played a rogue in vanilla, frost mage in TBC beta, fury/prot warrior in TBC, frost mage again, prot warrior in wotlk. I don't remember what I did in cataclysm if I even played. Trying to decide what I want to do now. I always seem to have the most fun as frost mage, but don't want to get pidgonholed with queue times and ultimately speccing arcane for dps.

also, getting the insane title is relatively easy now - still just time consuming. I was already honored with bloodsail from years ago - now i'm revered with all goblin factions and exalted with gadgetzan - ravenholdt and darkmoon are the ones that will hold me back

I didn't remember playing Cataclysm but apparently I did. So we probably played around the same time. Things seem easier and more streamlined now. Dual talent specs are dope, there's no more 51 point trees or whatever, you just pick like 5 skills out of 15 and you can change them at will. Every fight if you wanted to.

It's the first time I haven't had a guild, I've just been LFG queuing with a friend and have yet to get back into PVP. They brought back some older dungeons for "heroics"

I tried a challenge mode (siege of niu'zao temple) a few weeks after MoP launched. It was pretty difficult and probably on par with BC heroics as far as difficulty. The mobs hit like trucks and you definitely have to use CC. It took us over an hour to finish ours, and i think the cutoff for a bronze medal was 45 mins.

The catch is that it will always normalize your stats down to a 463 ilvl so there isn't a way to outgear them. There hasn't been a lot of interest in them because all they offered before were cosmetic rewards. But with 5.3 and them giving heroic scenario type bags (chance for a 516 item), that more people might take an interest in checking them out now.

I got all golds before I quit a few months ago... Here's some hints:

1) Rogues are by far the best class for them... smokescreen = OP
2) Invis pots are your best friend if you do not have rogues
3) There is the minimum monster kill number for a reason. Skip as much as you can... see #1 and #2.

The only difficult thing about them is killing bosses quickly.

bump for Warlords of Draenor expansion.

Based off the trailer they just showed at blizzcon it looks like level 100 cap and what looks like outland in the past so im guessing it's a Caverns of Time style throwback to Draenor (outland) before it exploded.

It looks like some of the main characters will be the orc heroes from the past representative of the different orc clans we met during BC (i.e. Grom Hellscream & crew)

^^I think they are going with the idea that you can never change things in the past, so things that actually change split into a different timeline (or something like that). As many people on the internet have pointed out, though, this completely negates the idea behind the Infinite Dragonflight who try to change things to destroy time itself (IIRC).

They may tweak their explanation further as time goes on to clarify it further, but they were specifically saying that changing the past won't change the present. Maybe they will end up with some bizarre pocket universe explanation that will implode upon itself at the conclusion of player efforts.

Agreed. Although last i heard, ED will never be in the game unfortunately.

I was really hoping for a burning legion expansion, as i think that's the most fleshed out storyline left in the universe now that the arthas storyline is over.

I feel like WoD is a copout to artificially extend the life of the game. No matter how they try to spin it, it's definitely a time travel expansion. But who knows, i was skeptical about MoP in the beginning and it turned out better than i expected.

supposedly GC said there may be no flying mounts in WoD until the first content patch, if ever. That might be interesting.
