Ryan Matthews vs Raiders or Rashard Mendenhall @ Bengals? Was leaning towards Matthews even though he is coming off his groin. thoughts?

^ that was cbssports.com analysis, not my personal analysis. I don't see how Jones gets the job back, but you never know with Jerry Jones.Matthews vs Raiders(coming off groin injury) or Mendenhall @ Bengals?Rams D/ST @ Browns or Chargers D/ST vs Raiders?

cowboys would be dumb to go away from murray. Jones sucked balls as the starter
11/8/2011 9:10:16 PM
Trade eval:I get VJax, I give Jordy & Tolbert. Have McCoy, Bush (DMC on bench) at RB and Wallace, Manningham, L. Robinson & Percy at WR.
11/9/2011 9:03:48 AM
^ PPR or Standard scoring?
11/9/2011 9:31:12 AM
^^do it
11/9/2011 9:34:55 AM
^^ 0.5 PPRReally leaning toward doing it. Big game this weekend that will basically decide whether or not I make the playoffs.
11/9/2011 10:10:25 AM
I'm becoming really "blah" about my team. Seems as though it is never spectacular, and is more apt to have a horrible week than it is to be great. League has 3 divisions (4 teams each), 3 division winners and the person with the most points scored go to the playoffs. I am currently sitting in 4th, with about a 60 pt lead on the rest of the non-divison winning field.QB RiversQB FreemanRB PetersonRB MatthewsRB MendenhallRB Felix JonesWR Hakeem NicksWR Steve Smith (car)WR Dez BryantWR Brandon LLoydWR Pierre GarconTE Jimmy GrahamNot really sure how to improve it either.

^I would go Niners and Cowboys I think.8 team league $$$ league at work. would you do this?I give:Vincent JacksonBeanie WellsI get:Greg JenningsPeyton Hillismy other RBs are Turner, Gore, Ray Rice, Jahvid Best, and Jackie Battle. thoughts?alsoBears D/ST(vs Lions) or Rams D/ST(@ Browns) or Bengals D/ST(vs Steelers) or Chargers D/ST (vs Raiders)[Edited on November 9, 2011 at 1:24 PM. IDK about that one. Rivers may actually be coming around, and if thats the case, VJAX and Jennings would pretty much cancel each other out. Who knows if Hillis will be decent again this year. I doubt it.But looking at your other RB's, it seems like you could live with that, so sure why not go for it.
11/9/2011 1:44:42 PM
I wouldnt take that trade either. Gates is not the player he used to be. He's overweight, slow, and still nursing that turf toe injury he's had for the last 6 years. Rivers rapport with Jackson is great and now that their through the first half of the year with the tough CBs from teams like KC, NYJ, etc, the rest of the season matchups look good for them. Rodgers spreads the ball around too much and Hillis is done. He will never be what he used to be. Also, with the running game injured in San Diego, the passing game will surely benefit.
11/9/2011 1:57:51 PM
^it is a league where pass TDs are 6 points, so most of the teams went big QB in the first or second round.I didn't know if the consistency you get with Jennings is worth taking the chance. I mean Jackson has 97 pts this year I think, but like 60 of those have been in 2 games. We play 2 RBs and a flex, it was an 8 team league. [Edited on November 9, 2011 at 2:05 PM. Reason : .]

2 RB slots, standard Yahoo scoring league with current projected week 10 total:Jones-Drew @ IND 16.41Michael Bush @ SD 13.07McGahee @ KC 14.51basically trying to pick McGahee or Bush, thoughts?

mcgahee

Pick a D/ST please:Bears vs LionsChargers vs RaidersRams @ BrownsRedskins @ DolphinsBengals vs Steelersthanks.

Bears[Edited on November 9, 2011 at 3:28 PM. Reason : if you get points for sacks]
11/9/2011 3:28:08 PM
depends on the scoring, but I'd take the redskinsthe dolphins had a fluke game last week.
11/9/2011 3:46:26 PM
i'd definitely do skins or rams (browns offense has been abysmal)
11/9/2011 3:50:47 PM

11/9/2011 4:44:15 PM
Maybe you guys see something I don't, but I would be going with the Chargers. You can throw out that game against GB last week, nobody can stop that offense. Plus they are playing at home, always a plus for D/ST (IMO).
11/9/2011 6:19:51 PM
Pick 2:Demarco Murray v BuffaloFred Jackson at DallasMichael Turner v NO
11/9/2011 6:22:03 PM
As much as it pains me to say; Murray and Turner.
11/9/2011 6:32:17 PM
I can only keep two QB's of the following 3, who should I use for trade bait?M. cassell KCA. Dalton CINJ Cutler CHI
11/9/2011 9:51:55 PM
just drop cassell (unless someone in your league is dumb enough to trade for him)
11/9/2011 9:53:30 PM
Stafford v Bears or Tebow v ChiefsandLaurent Robinson v Bills or Roy Helu v Dolphins (Please come back Andre Johnson )
11/10/2011 8:45:06 AM
^I think KC has enough athleticism on defense to contain the option attack. That said, I have Tebow on my bench this week (behind Brees), so he's guaranteed for a good game
11/10/2011 9:31:34 AM
Both QBs have away games, I would go with Stafford, and Helu.McCluster vs. DenverorTorrey Smith @ SeattlealsoRivers vs. OaklandorStafford @ Chicago
11/10/2011 9:41:20 AM
I'd go Torrey Smith and StaffordKC shut the bed last week so who knows what they'll do even against a bad Denver team...even though the game is at Seattle and he has had some drops, Smith has more upside than Dexter this week...and I think the Chargers lean on the running game, whereas Detroit will have to air it out moreflex play in a PPR league? Desean Jackson has been bad, but here are my options:Desean Jackson vs. ARIAntonio Brown @ CINLaurent Robinson vs. BUFShonn Greene vs. NEcurrently I have Greene plugged in versus NE's suspect defense, but I am uncertain
11/10/2011 1:01:00 PM
I would usually go with greene, b/c I usually prefer RBs to WRs, simply because they are usually more consistent. However, Jackson has a good matchup this week, and has a much higher chance of a monster game. It depends on how much you need the high-risk/high-reward play.I need a trade eval:I give: Beanie WellsJordy NelsonI get:Frank Gore
11/10/2011 1:34:49 PM
Wells will have his knee issue all year. I bet they go to more of a by committee approach. Get Gore. Tebow or Rivers this week? Tebow is a rushing machine but generally sucks as a passer. Rivers is a passing machine but has a crazy amount of turnovers.
11/10/2011 1:44:29 PM
^^^Even though Ward is participating, I would give Brown a look. While Cincy has a good pass D, Wallace will get a lot of attention and Browns targets have been steadily climbing for about 4 week I believe. However, Greene wouldn't be a bad choice, they committed to him last week, though NE run D is significantly better than Buffalo's.^^Depends on your other RBs and WRs but just by face value I would definitely make that trade. 49ers end of season schedule is pretty soft, I think Baltimore is the last good D they face.^Toss up. KC's D might show up this week after that embarrassment. I do think Tebow has more upside, but Rivers turned it on last week. If I needed major points from my QB I would probably go with Tebow, but Rivers is the safer play.
11/10/2011 3:31:39 PM
M. Bush or Ryan Mathews. Ppr
11/10/2011 3:33:00 PM
I have the same quandary. But we're PPR and PPC, so I think I'm going Bush as he won't split carries.[Edited on November 10, 2011 at 6:39 PM. Reason : .]
11/10/2011 6:33:59 PM
ok... I am in a real quandary about the whole tebow/schaub thing... every week I think, no way does TimTimTebow out perform, but I continue to be wrong. I think I'm gonna start him this week and allow him to suck so I don't have to worry about it next week^I agree... I can't trust matthews either, and we know RunDMC aint playing (at least as far as I know he wont be in tonight on the short week). [Edited on November 10, 2011 at 6:55 PM. Reason : hate to say start bush, but... start Bush!]
11/10/2011 6:52:00 PM
Rivers vs OAK or Big Ben @ CIN?
11/10/2011 7:06:09 PM
raiders are hurting in the secondary. cincy isn't well tested, but they have a stout pass defense so far. i'd say rivers hands down
11/10/2011 7:16:00 PM
I only see Felix Jones getting carries when Murray needs a minute to catch his breath after big gains
11/10/2011 7:17:20 PM
went with Bush, phew
11/10/2011 10:25:57 PM
haha I know right. Bush is doing damn good.V-Jax on the other hand...sucks.
11/10/2011 10:32:37 PM
I don't have NFL network but I see the stats. Where the hell is Vincent Jackson?
11/10/2011 10:58:03 PM
Being one hell of a decoy for the other Vincent.
11/10/2011 10:58:54 PM
Well at least Bush is winning my other league.
11/10/2011 11:02:04 PM
Michael Bush on the bench for me ...in my defense, Fred Jackson and Adrian Peterson are ahead of him.
11/10/2011 11:29:17 PM
VJ and Matthews have to come stronger
11/10/2011 11:34:40 PM
woot bush. made up for jv not doing shit. chargers need to spend all 6 rounds on the OL. 83 pts from PRiv, VJ, and Bush.
