I'm an only child, and I spend 90% of my time alone. my relationships generally last around 3 months. it's not so much that the massive amounts of time I spend alone upset/anger the woman or that she infringes on them...but just that, being an only child (and probably solitary and weird by nature) I have a hard time connecting with people. I've never met a woman I liked half enough to seriously consider marrying her.

the biggest difference is obviously Match.com is a pay to use service. you can make a free profile to view chicks, but you can't message them or see who's interested in you. Pay service helps weed out (for the most part) people that are trolling, catfishing, looking for random encounters. It seems most users are looking for a legitimate relationship.

it seems to me that OKC had a lot more questions to answer in relation to sexual preferences and things like that. Maybe it's because i made my initial Match profile years ago but i don't remember having to answer nearly as many.

Yeah, that's why I prefer the UI on okc way more.
With match I could click checkboxes to search for someone who likes bowling, or tennis, or wine tastings, but there isn't a real matching algorithm like there is on okc.

^honestly i never gave OKC a fair shot. I already had match, assumed it was better due to requiring a membership. Like I mentioned earlier, i cancelled my match subscription. if this girl doesn't materialize i may try OKC for real.
