Wow, joe. I'm not going to explain why she doesn't appeal to me, but CapnObvious got a lot of the points. Mostly her face is not that great, she's a plain jane.

A thought crossed my mind about Rachel's death. There is never a scene where you see the death really affect Bruce or Batman. He mentions that he lost when talking to 2 face, and you see him be all emo in that scene where he is in the office with half his suit on.But you never see him get really pissed or upset. The scene where I thought it might have been was when he opens the door to see who he was actually rescuing right before Rachel dies. But that part had to be left for Harvey's lines because they were so good. Batman might as wlel not have been in that scene. Also, he never mentions to the Joker after the fact in their last stand off about Rachel. You would think he might bring it up.sigh

double post, whatever.2 things I noticed after watching the last Joker/Batman scene again (just now ).The sound at the end of the video I have is about a half a second late compared to the movie. The effect on the weight of the dialogue and music is enormous. Its not watching the same movie. This alone proves to me how good the audio in this film is. It is such a big deal. So big as to warrant a double post. And when Joker is hanging upside down. Am I the only one who noticed how visually interesting the Joker is when he is turned away from the spot light on him?? its almost a different character. Seriously, I dont know if that was planed or was just a side effect from them wanting to do the scene that way,but good god does it make it infinity better,[Edited on August 23, 2008 at 8:10 PM. commenting on the joker being upside downi like how they turned the camera so he appears upright...its like a sort of respect for his character
8/23/2008 9:27:53 PM
I thought it was so the audience could read his facial expressions easily.
8/24/2008 12:40:44 AM
i thought it was just because the world was crazy mixed up and upside down
8/24/2008 10:40:26 AM
or maybe he was impersonating those fan-blowing man-shaped things at big sporting events

8/25/2008 12:12:26 AM
i'm guessing dlist is the british equivalent to our national enquirer
8/25/2008 12:15:32 AM
I don't know how true that story is either but the National Enquirer did break the John Edwards story like 10 months ago.

^^And a stopped watch is correct twice a day.
8/25/2008 7:51:01 AM
if cher is anywhere near the next one, i will not watch it.
8/25/2008 9:33:06 AM
Hahaha Cher as Catwoman, that's a good one.
8/25/2008 9:38:38 AM
I could actually see ita crazy ass older woman who is dark and just weird acting...it could workits totally opposite and more realistic thats for surebut I am POSITIVE Depp would be the best bet for the riddler as already stated.
8/25/2008 1:10:14 PM
it's supposed to be catwoman, not miss havisham
8/25/2008 1:21:09 PM
8/25/2008 1:30:38 PM
make her clayfaceit'd be a better fit anyway
8/25/2008 1:34:26 PM
let's not forget the following things1. everyone said "heath ledger!?? WTF??!"2. cher has an oscar3. unless it's sort of a peripheral character like the loeb catwoman, i'd rather it be a more interesting interpretation, and this would certainly suggest that
8/25/2008 1:41:07 PM
Yeah but Catwoman is supposed to be uber hot and uber agile. Cher is far from hot and is like 60 years old.And I don't care what anyone says about how bad a movie Batman Forever was. Jim Carrey was an awesome Riddler and the only good thing in the entire film.
8/25/2008 1:50:06 PM
DKR Catwoman:Just sayin'.
8/25/2008 1:57:10 PM
he was a comical riddler. i think depp would be a better riddler for this line of films, if he is indeed being cast for the part.
8/25/2008 1:58:40 PM
Tim Sale's Selina Kyle.
8/25/2008 3:20:07 PM
i really hope it's a joke. heath ledger was an unconventional choice to be sure, but cher? isn't she kinda past her prime?
8/25/2008 3:46:12 PM
btw has Johnny Depp been a bad guy in any movies? Nothing comes to mind.
8/25/2008 3:56:15 PM
he was one in Sweeney Todd... you know, his last film
8/25/2008 3:57:39 PM
if the Cher thing is true, maybe Nolan is going for the completely absurd. Rosie O'Donnell as The Penguin and Kel Mitchell as The Riddler
8/25/2008 4:03:37 PM
^^^blow i guess could go as a bad guy
8/25/2008 4:06:05 PM
Cher as Catwoman? Horsewoman maybe, but Catwoman?
8/25/2008 4:53:29 PM
8/25/2008 5:26:44 PM
Ron Weasley could play Clayface.
8/25/2008 5:30:27 PM
I'll believe it when I see the official casting list.[Edited on August 25, 2008 at 5:48 PM. Reason : refering to Cher, that is]
8/25/2008 5:47:49 PM
8/25/2008 7:41:14 PM
Holy orange soda Batman, I think the Riddler's behind this!
8/25/2008 8:13:33 PM
awwww, here it goes!!
8/25/2008 8:17:54 PM
8/25/2008 8:33:54 PM
8/26/2008 11:28:50 AM
er, he wasn't exactly a bad guy
8/26/2008 11:42:26 AM
he shot a mexican chef dead for making the food too good
8/26/2008 11:43:52 AM

Guess I'm just completely out of the demographic of people that would find ^ funny.I'd file that video under stuff that you think is cool before you do it and realize how much it sucks after you're done. Then you just have to put it out there because you spent so much time on it.
8/27/2008 7:14:31 AM
8/27/2008 7:43:17 AM
was it supposed to be funny?
8/27/2008 8:24:01 AM
that was terrible. i don't know what it was supposed to be but it sucked.
8/27/2008 9:38:54 AM
^^^, ^^ I was wondering if it was supposed to be funny as well, so I went to the youtube page and looked at the comments. Lot's of people claiming it was funny. Go figure.
