I want to give them a go but can't seem to find anyone who sells it around here who isn't a salon with crazy marked-up prices

I'll cut you, bitch.

Seriously, though, if you know a place that

isn't a salon

to get Bumble and Bumble, speak up; otherwise, calm your digits.

One of the girls at my office said she saw Bumble and Bumble at Target. But she said it was a Target in a nice area where she would have expected it - North Hills maybe? I don't really remember which one, but it's a start.

^Thanks. I'm kinda headed out that way this week, so I'll check on it, even though searching either 'bumble' or 'bumble and bumble' on target.com only pulls up costumes, baby stuff, and books

[Edited on September 3, 2007 at 1:30 PM. Reason : drugstore.com has it, and free shipping after $25]

^^ I've seen some other stuff that's supposed to be only sold at salons at Target, like kinds of shampoo and stuff. Not all Targets, mind you, but some of them.

i'm assuming the invitation doesn't specify attire. i wouldn't go formal unless the invite said so though...so a cocktail dress would be fine.

How many of y'all would be willing to buy a new (not necessarily a new style) but never used Vera Bradley? Like say one that would originally cost $80 for maybe $30.

I'm thinking about going down to Atlanta next weekend where they are having an awesome sale on Vera Bradleys and I was thinking I might just buy a butt load, and then sell them to other people for a bit of a profit.

I've never been into those bags or anything resembling something that would be sold in a Hallmark...

but I would sell them on craigslist and ebay...

Yeah I was thinking about the whole e-bay thing, but if you go on there, there are already a shit load of those bags there and I probably wouldn't be able to make as much as a profit.

Is there somewhere around here that you can sell clothes at? I used to have a place in Knoxville, but I can't find somewhere here, and I've got some quality clothes that I want to get rid of, but ebay and craigslist just aren't going to cut it.....

This thread helped me find Bumble & Bumble products sold at Target, can you help me find somewhere THAT ISN'T A SPA OR SALON that sells OPI nail polish?

I'm in love with this:

Russian Navy

and I want these:

Rubble For Your Toughts

Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey

Kreme de la Kremlin

Does Ulta count? It has a salon, but I wouldn't say it is a salon. I think it sells OPI, but it's been forever since I've been there.

sure it counts if they sell the products as well as do salon services. I've seen it but never been inside because I thought it was just a salon. A lot of the places listed on the OPI website use OPI products, but don't sell them. I'll check ulta out over the weekend

I love that place. I'm surprised you've never been. They have good (well, not shitty) store-brand makeup that's frequently buy one, get one free. They also have a rewards program where if you spend X amount, you get to pick something for free off a list of stuff, and they mail you fliers with coupons in them, too.

I don't really wear makeup, I mainly just play with it. Sephora is probably one of my favorite stores to go and burn time in because it's so shiny and colorful

Well they also have pretty much every beauty product you could want, and their store brand goes on sale a lot. For some reason the makeup just stood out in my mind.

I know a store called Trade Secrets sells OPI. I don't know if there are any in Cary/Raleigh, but I do know that they sell OPI, and possibly Bumble and Bumble.

Aha, well I haven't been to a TS store in a few years, but I don't ever remember them being all that friendly. There's one in the mall in Greensboro, so I'd always stop in and look around. But good luck at Ulta or Harris Teeter. I really want to buy a bottle of the navy too....I love dark dark nail polishes.

I love that whole outfit. The coat is very flared from the waist down, so cute. And the shoes are killer.

So I've been shopping, well sorta shopping. I went to Kohl's a few days ago and looked at all the really cute Simply Vera by Vera Wang clothes.... I'm shopping in regular sizes before I've even reached there. >.<

i don't do a lot of online shopping so maybe everyone already knows about this...but you can type pretty much any store + discount codes in google and websites like this

http://www.retailmenot.com/view/victoriassecret.com

come up with discount codes that you can enter at checkout

at victorias secret you can use up to four, so i just used these

-$30 off a $150 order
-free shipping
-free tank top and lip gloss

sooo i saved about $50 and got a free shirt and lipgloss!! awesome

Ulta does have OPI polishes, as does the Trade Secret in Crabtree. The Target at North Hills has some too.

However, I get all of mine online because they're cheaper. http://8ty8beauty.com/index.html http://www.head2toebeauty.com/

Those are my two favorite places to order polish. Thanks to them my collection is approaching 200 bottles.

Lincoln Park After Dark could be called a dark plum. It almost looks black, but you can still tell it's a super dark purple.

I haven't gotten the Russian Collection yet because I'm broke. It's torturing my Russian minoring heart.
