this is what ive been telling nick. watch out for dempsey against england (assuming healthy). he brushed it aside. skillfully, imo, dempsey is better than donovan....however donovan seems to work harder than dempsey. i am getting more and more excited to see the england vs usa game.gg fulham too. not many teams have put up that many against juventus in any european competition.

back to Diddy buying Crystal Palace...You can hate on him all you want for his shitty music and stuff (and I do) but he's a pretty damn successful businessman. I actually think it's pretty cool and could end up being good for a troubled club if he takes it seriously
3/18/2010 9:54:18 PM
I agreeYou could call Diddy a lot of things, but tightwad ain't one of 'em. He would drop the necessary cash to be competitive if he is serious about buying the club.
3/18/2010 9:57:28 PM
plus he could introduce the first ever Sean Jean soccer jersey
3/18/2010 10:03:28 PM
didnt elton john try this recently with watford?
3/18/2010 10:07:40 PM
epic jerseys from elton john's fashion crew?!
3/18/2010 10:11:43 PM
HOLY FUCKING DEMPSEY.DUDE IS A MACHINE.
3/18/2010 10:15:33 PM
another link to the dempsey goal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crtB_lNwxkoi love to watch highlights for the english announcer enthusiasm and crowd reactions. magical stuff.
3/19/2010 2:00:12 AM
Damn UEFA keeps taking down the highlights off YouTube, and then they wait a week to put them up on their site.
3/19/2010 8:23:40 PM
so will Vidic make it 4 in a row against Liverpool on Sunday?^ have you not seen it? Well even if you have, it's worth watching again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeL1DXp-PuU[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 10:41 PM. Reason : deuce got loose]
3/19/2010 10:37:29 PM
I am not impressed by that Dempsey goal.
3/19/2010 11:39:26 PM
^ On another note, I've captained Milner again this week in fantasy. He's one of many studs with double game weeks, but I like his match ups. Lampard would be my second choice.
3/19/2010 11:42:40 PM
I mean, really?Dempsey gets one wondergoal and you guys are basically pulling down your pants for him.
3/19/2010 11:48:35 PM
Nope. But we do like US soccer players and it was a great goal that meant a ton for Fulham....and it's his 2nd best goal of the year. Stop being a bitch just for the sake of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lznx0CfNM8M&feature=related[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 11:54 PM. Reason : f]
3/19/2010 11:50:08 PM
nick he just scored a wondergoal that sent them to the next round...and against juventus. this is not the first huge goal he has scored for fulham too. hopefully he scores a wondergoal against england too
3/20/2010 12:12:59 AM
u both mad?
3/20/2010 12:59:33 AM
you have been making some outrageous statements/claims lately. i think you are the one who is mad (crazy).
3/20/2010 6:10:52 AM
3/20/2010 8:17:12 AM
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=758067&sec=england&cc=5901you stay classy, Aaron Ramsey
3/20/2010 9:31:12 AM
Poor poor Ryan Shawcross. I can only imagine what this terrible ordeal has been like for him. My thoughts and prayers are truly with him in this difficult and trying time.
3/20/2010 10:30:34 AM
Wasn't Ramsey's leg broken before the tackle anyways?
3/20/2010 10:43:44 AM
I mentioned earlier that I captained Milner this week. He delivered a wonder goal of his own, in the Villa net.
3/20/2010 1:33:50 PM
I too, picked up Milner for fantasy [Edited on March 20, 2010 at 1:39 PM. Reason : oh wait no I didnt. LOL]
3/20/2010 1:36:21 PM
Nice game winner by Everton today.
3/20/2010 2:28:53 PM
^however many. is that the link about ramsey not gettin back up with shawcross? kinda lame if hes holding a grudge against him. ive had my hand broken in a 1v1 back in high school in a pick up game and i didnt hold any ill will against the guy cause i know it was an accident. we were both going for the ball...his foot just happened to snap my finger . pretty obvious shawcross wasnt trying to hurt ramsey and he doesnt need to apologize anymore. if ramsey wants to take the ghey route, then theres nothing shawcross can do about it.
3/20/2010 3:27:40 PM
He got a 3 match ban for that??? That's bullshit. He got a red card, that should be bad enough.
3/20/2010 6:46:37 PM
red is automatic 3 match ban in the EPL
3/20/2010 6:49:22 PM
Oh. I thought it would be like 2 max.
3/20/2010 7:28:21 PM
TOOORRRREESSSSS!!!!
3/21/2010 9:38:33 AM
I don't think that should have been a penalty because the foul started outside the box but it was an obvious foul, he's lucky it wasn't red
3/21/2010 9:48:59 AM
Red is an automatic 3 match ban only if it was given for "violent conduct". For example Vermaelen's straight red yesterday is an automatic 1 match ban, just like picking up two yellows in a match.
3/21/2010 9:51:27 AM
anyone got a working feed for this one? mine just died.
3/21/2010 10:47:30 AM
I had to download veetle to watch but mine's been perfecthttp://www.atdhe.net/15648/watch-manchester-united-vs-liverpool
3/21/2010 10:52:21 AM
2-1 United, Park with a headerfuck
3/21/2010 10:53:55 AM
I have veetle.
3/21/2010 10:57:27 AM
oh well, United definitely deserved the full 3 points here. Liverpool were nothing after the Torres goal. And based on his current form, I can't see how Gerrard deserves to be in the starting 11 against the US in the World Cup. He's been extremely poor this year.
3/21/2010 11:27:17 AM
holy shit was i nervous the last 20 minutes...shouldve been an undeserved 2-2 with a few minutes to go...not sure how benayoun and torres both mess up that glorious chance they had[Edited on March 21, 2010 at 11:31 AM. Reason : UNITED!]
3/21/2010 11:30:45 AM
3/21/2010 11:31:21 AM
El-Hadji Diouf just brought Blackburn level with Chelsea at homeCOME ON BLACKBURN
3/21/2010 1:30:32 PM
epic result blackburn. epic.
3/21/2010 1:55:27 PM
ahahahha Diouf vs DrogbaWHO WOULD WIN IN EPIC SHOWDOWN OF THE EPL'S BIGGEST DOUCHEBAGS?
3/21/2010 2:29:59 PM
Liverpool just seem to stop trying after a certain pointit's really annoyingof course, when they fall behind, they start trying againand as usual, Lucas gives the ball away more than anyone else on the pitch]
3/21/2010 5:13:23 PM
has anyone noticed the demise of liverpool eerily coinciding with the departure of andriy voronin?
3/21/2010 5:18:38 PM
^^ Gerrard was worse today^ damn you right
3/21/2010 5:23:10 PM
gerrard seems like he just packed it in for the season and has given up. its been going on for at least a month, and it doesn't bode well for pool when their captain is just going through the motions out there. unless he's hurt or something, i don't get it at all. he's normally way better than this.
3/21/2010 5:25:27 PM
yep I'm the #1 Gerrard fan boy so when I'm admitting he's garbage, you know it's bad
3/21/2010 5:30:16 PM
he is probably tired of trying to carry the whole team (along with Torres, who at least is young and hasn't been at Liverpool his whole career)I mean, "Steven Gerrard" couldn't have been an altogether pleasant job over the last season or two, what with a lot of the rest of the team (and some would say the manager) sucking, and people always on Liverpool's back to win the leagueI can forgive him for taking his foot off the pedal a bit]
3/21/2010 6:48:23 PM
Torres to ChelseaStevie G to InterWatch.
3/21/2010 11:35:15 PM
maybeI don't know why Chelsea needs another striker and it seems like if one team in the PL was going to overpay for a forward when they already had 10, it would be City. Can't see Gerrard playing for any other team in England so Inter seems likely... if I had to pick to keep one of them at the moment, sadly, I would have to go with Torres and kick my boy to the curbIn other news, here's the latest hat trick of the best player in the world. His second goal at 3:03 is pretty sickhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFa13_u3llQ
3/22/2010 8:07:09 AM
