You can use it for the inner corner of the eye and arch of the brow. Just blend/smudge it on in there. You can experiment as well--like, you might want to do the outer corner or apply it lightly on your cheekbones, etc... I don't wear much makeup, but highlighters are amazing and easy.

awesome tips. thanks.

Don't do what this chick did. how do you walk out the house and not know this is horrible.
6/17/2013 11:05:01 PM
oh my. i'll try not to do anything like that. less is more, right?
6/17/2013 11:06:32 PM
word.
6/17/2013 11:15:31 PM
^^Yes, it's all about light. Like, you're not really tryna to conceal anything or apply pigment. You're just lightening the skin a bit and letting the shimmering agent reflect light off your face in a way that highlights your beautiful eyes.
6/17/2013 11:55:03 PM
Awesome. I think I can do this! Thanks again

Mission accomplished ladies. She took off everything, every where except for the back (which isn't much of an issue for me)It hurt just a little. Definitely more towards the center top. She was like "Rip, Rip, ...... Rip! Perfecto!"and I was all like, damn, that was it?! super red though
6/18/2013 3:39:16 PM
yea mine was red for like a week after i would get waxed. that's why i stopped
6/18/2013 3:44:46 PM
she was all up in my hooha! Afterwards she's like "See the pain wasn't too bad?" And I said it wasn't the pain I was worried about, it was more about the letting someone else see down there" She said after 14 years it's just hair that has to go bye-bye[Edited on June 18, 2013 at 3:48 PM. 6/18/2013 4:25:37 PM
lol I dont know why Minka's post made me laugh. I have a high threshold for pain, but can't imagine doing this
6/18/2013 11:27:20 PM
i keep thinking about it and always decide not to. i did my own wax before my bachelorette party in november and it was just a basic bikini and it hurt like hell. although im sure waxers have better stuff than those strips.
6/18/2013 11:29:35 PM
Waxers use a hard wax that doesn't use strips. Its a lot less painful.
6/18/2013 11:33:07 PM
Not only do they have better quality stuff, they have a better technique. I don't think that waxing your nether regions is something that you can do well on yourself. I wish that you'd just let me do it. /creeper
6/18/2013 11:36:15 PM
Not necessarily. The place I went used the warm honey kind of wax with strips. Though it was also where I got folliculitis, twice, and vowed I'd never get waxed again. Though that was more because I don't think it's nearly worth the cost and having to not shave for two weeks beforehand than the pain.

I think I need sequin shorts.Yep. Cat Deeley makes me want to have sequin shorts.
6/19/2013 1:28:38 PM
BridgetSPK or anyone else. At what point in the makeup process does the highlighter go on? First, last, somewhere in between?
6/21/2013 9:07:02 PM
I need a massage but my spa of choice has gotten really pricey since their renovation (Synergy). Anyone know of a place that charges less than $80 for a 60 minute massage that is really good? Or are any of the current Groupon/Living Social deals worth going for?I'll admit I'm a little picky, so I want the place to be a little fancier than the community college thing.

The answer to every question in this thread can be found somewhere online. Multiple different answers even. I enjoy discussing it with people I "know."
6/24/2013 12:53:56 PM
it's probably easier to learn make-up tips by watching someone actually do it than by reading what someone does
6/24/2013 12:58:35 PM
I've watched some, I still like to discuss it here and get different opinions and I sometimes mainly ask hoping to spark conversation and get the the thread rolling again after it dies down a bit.

elise you're an ipsy girl! Go to your Glam Room page and click on the Chella link to view all the videos where it was used. Ipsy is teaching me all new ways to use things.PS: Still haven't received my bag this month it's all my fault. I was supposed to receive it last TUESDAY but I moved and forgot to switch my address (d'oh). I changed it before I even got the tracking info but they still had my old address. It's being forwarded since last Tuesday and still not here. I hope it doesn't get lost.
6/24/2013 1:07:49 PM
elise, intuitively, you'd want it to be one of the last things you apply. You want light to be able to get to it.But I definitely recommend watching some other people and experimenting yourself. It's really about what you like since you only see yourself through your own eyes. I can't wear a lot because it's unsettling. I mean, even if something is "pretty," if it's too different, it freaks me out.
6/25/2013 1:13:36 AM
I know what you mean! I dyed my hair for so long that when I got it dyed back to the original color it was incredibly shocking. It took me months to get used to it.

Would there look good with brown dress pants? For some reason I really want them:http://www.6pm.com/naturalizer-hadden-camelot-snake

Those are uglyI'm Krallum and I approved this message.
6/25/2013 1:07:10 PM
Make a better suggestion. Must be available in 8W and $100 or less.
6/25/2013 1:11:15 PM
I personally don't like them. But they'd be fine with brown dress pants. And if you really want them, then you should definitely get them.I own and love tons of stuff that other people don't like, and they're usually my favorite things. So, yeah, they're $35, and they're gonna be comfortable, and you like them...you gotta get 'em yo!
6/25/2013 1:17:05 PM
Don't hate those shoesbuy them
6/25/2013 1:18:01 PM
I might get those and some black patent heels. Right now I only own one pair of heels because nobody stocks wides. Just have to decide if I should order them online, or wait and go buy them at the Smithfield outlets so I can try them on first. Leaning toward the outlet and trying on first. http://www.naturalizer.com/en-US/Product/EC0201594-3008822/Naturalizer/Black+Shiny/Clava.aspxhttp://www.6pm.com/naturalizer-esme-black-leather-shiny-suede

uugh I forgot about 6PM! I love that site!
6/25/2013 2:31:53 PM
I have ordered from them a couple times, but never shoes. Got a sweet patagonia bathing suit for cheap last year. They are so much cheaper than Zappos I think it's worth paying for return shipping on the shoes that don't fit.
6/25/2013 2:58:05 PM
none of those shoes are awful if worn with the right things
6/25/2013 3:41:57 PM
6/29/2013 11:40:26 PM
Booooooo. Good to know. They give out those coupons a couple times a year it seems.
6/30/2013 1:09:33 AM
I found the most amazing pair of brown knee high cole haan boots at Nordstrom rack marked down to $70 from $300...Too bad they didn't fit over my calves
6/30/2013 10:35:34 PM
I've had to quit going to Nordstrom Rack because I love the shoes but it's so rare to find ones that fit. Also, I think I'm going to host a Saturday (possibly evening) clothing swap in the next couple weeks. [Edited on June 30, 2013 at 10:51 PM. Reason : ...]

What are the best stores at the Smithfield outlets? Going this weekend and I want to make sure I don't miss anything good.
7/2/2013 3:03:40 PM
I personally love the Pepperidge Farm, Fossil, Eddie Bauer, and the GAP/BR outlet when I go there.Probably in that order.
7/2/2013 7:07:04 PM
Merrell!
7/2/2013 7:26:21 PM
Thanks, I will have to check out all of those. I'm super excited to hopefully be getting a pair of heels that fit.

Fuuuuuu........Drove to the outlets but left my wallet home. Tried on stuff and could get it for about the same price online once I got home, so whatever. Have some shoes on the way, and I need to decide on a couple more pairs.
