So I'm really into my Ipsy glambag monthly subscription and I have been asked to make my Christmas list so I was looking for other companies that do something similar. I know about birchbox, but are there any others worth looking in to?

Minka! i love it so far - this gym only teaches spin and they have different spin classes to choose from (regular spin, spin with upper body movement/weights, barre spin, etc) and i'm enjoying it so far. they offer shoe rentals for $2 a class which is fine for now but i found some good spin shoes for $40 on amazon that i am going to buy call the gym and ask them if they do rentals.

i also just got a jawbone up. anyone else have one? (i think i saw bottombaby got one via instagram) i like it so far - i'm interested in learning more about my sleep pattern but the stupid thing didnt register my sleep last night!

My husband and I both have Ups. I love it. The sleep thing has been really telling and the power nap mode is pretty swell.

i just looked into it and i forgot to switch my band over to sleep mode now i know. excited to see what the F is going on with my sleep issues (most of it is thyroid related but i feel like i don't really sleep).

it's cool to see how much walking i'm doing a day. and i like being competitive with myself so this could be kind of fun.

I am SOOOO excited to get this month's Ipsy Glam Bag. Here's what's in my bag this month:

Starlooks Lip liner ($12 value) *full size*

NYX Blush ($6-7 value depending on if I get the cream or the mosaic powder) *full size*

J.Cat Beauty Sparkling Cream Eyeshadow Palette ($4.49 value) *full size*

Cailyn Gel Eyeliner with brush ($21 value) *full size* most excited about this one but I hope I dont get the purple

J. Cat Eyelashes & Glue ($3.99 value) yay who doesn't love falsies?

Total value of my bag this month: $47.48 or $48.48.. regardless a $10 well spent.

Please use my referral link if you want to try Ipsy but I've had it for 3 months now and I am VERY pleased.

I get a bonus urban decay eyeshadow or a bracelet if I get 2 people to subscribe. Post here if you subscribe so that when I reach two, we can give someone else a chance to get referrals.

I took all of my bridesmaids to Harbour Club Day Spa for manis/pedis and we had great service. They also offered sandwiches, wine & champagne. It's in Lumina Station.

There were 7 of us total, and we basically had the room to ourselves for the afternoon.

I love Tower 7. I have dreams about it. There's a lot of spots within walking distance right there as well.

I had lunch at Fish House Grill a lot with my ex and his parents. Pretty tasty.

That's about all I know about wrightsville.

I probably won't use the glitter palate for myself, but my kids love glitter. I will probably use it to glam up their temporary tattoos.

Egyeyes, in case you don't read he fine print, that is NOT eye shadow. It is body glitter. The product warns of corneal scratching if used around eyes.

I read that some people put it on their nails before a top coat, but mine is definitely going in my work bag with the temporary tattoos.

To make hair grow faster you're going to have to improve your diet. I'd suggest starting with adding gelatin.

I don't think there is really. I take those hair and nail vitamins but mostly because my nails used to be so weak and now they are much stronger but my hair grows like normal which is about half an inch a month. I've been told my hair grows fast but I don't think so, I just try to keep it healthy by limiting my heat styling

I'm returning that ModCloth dress. DivaBaby was right, the neckline isn't working and the dress does nothing for my hips (and I love my hips ) plus the colors werent as bright as I thought it would be, it looked more drab and like thanksgivingish

Prenatal vitamins are pretty awesome for your hair. I don't know about growing hair but my hair is healthier and my nails definitely seem to grow faster. I switched over about 2 years ago from a regular multi.

Yeah, store-brand prenatal vitamins are a much cheaper alternative to skin/hair/nail supplements. I also take extra biotin, and I try to eat well, too.

I need my hair to grow for real though. Last month's trim turned out to be a full redneck haircut. I don't use that word very often, but it's the only way I can describe it. I woulda been more annoyed, but I was looking pretty scraggly to be requesting just a trim.

I definitely recommend Biotin for hair growth.

I like these - my hair grows about an inch a month. It's $10 for 120 caplets (drugstore.com).

I started taking prenatal vitamins when my hair started breaking a lot more, about 2 years ago. I haven't noticed much of an improvement And I eat well, don't over-style it, etc. so I still don't really know what's wrong. A stylist said soft water is very hard on hair, and I started having issues when I moved somewhere that had softer water. But I can't seem to stop the breakage.

Thank you! Hopefully you'll be taken off sooner than later, but this last bag was a big hit so I don't predict as many people will be unsubscribing as last month. I had NO idea that Target had a beauty box, and the one you got sounds good (value is way over $5). Take a pic of your cell phone with all of the sizes (or are they all full-sized?). Plz 2 provide more info and if there's a referral link post yours!

I already take the prenatal vitamins and I think my diet is ok(?) what should you eat/not eat for hair growth? I can google it, but y'all could tell me too maybe I'll try those biotin caplets too.

Prenatal works but biotin is the only thing that's worked best for me and my crazy hair and nail strength as a result from hypothyroid.

Also...I swear I was the first person to toot biotin's horn in this thread so many pages back. I've kept saying it and now most all the tww ladies seem to be using it

I've been eating this stuff very regularly for the last few months, and I don't think my hair is growing any different than normal.

Why the rush for longer hair?

there's not really a rush, i just want to keep my hair longer than i have in the past and if i could speed it up a little then that'd be cool

not that i ever wear it down out of my usual messy ponytail anyway. oh well.

My hair grows fast as fuck. I do eat a lot of salmon, eggs, and poultry but I doubt that it has much to do with it, because it has always been that way, even when I ate like crap.

I'd say it's more genetic than anything.

Egyeyes, what color liner did you get? I got iron. It says it is perfect for smokey eyes. I guess I need to get some new eye shadow. I've only ever used purple from the almay perfect eyes or whatever it is called so I was hoping for purple but I'm ready to try something new.I got the cream blush in red cheeks.

Begonias, did you ever get the new dryer with my coupon code? Did you like it?

Ladies, my life sucks so bad. LOL And I work so hard to be positive and upbeat about it that people end up saying and asking the dumbest things.

I just spent a bajillion dollars hosting a bachelorette weekend that turned out to be a five day affair. On Thursday of the "weekend" I got a call for a job interview, but I couldn't make it since I was out of town. They told me to call back Monday, which I did, but the position has already been filled. I'm sure it was never really available, and they just needed a body to interview, but I'm still sad about it. I stopped by the cobbler to pick up some heels that I got soled for safety. I had a bad feeling about it when I dropped them off, and I was right: the shoes were covered in glue and permanently stained with Vibram rubber in several places, which wouldn't be so bad except they were brand new shoes. I twisted my ankle, and I really need to stay off it for a few days...so I can't go to the gym or have a dance party. I just have lay to around feeling sorry for myself.

I'm bout to bust open Rosetta Stone for Spanish and hopefully redevelop some fluency. I kinda need it to stay busy since I have no life. But an end game is emerging: once I get my Spanish together, I'm draining my IRA and moving to Belize to get permadrunk.

Bachelorette parties are a pain! Fortunately, I've got an awesome bride who is basically the bomb, but there was a night out in Raleigh and then five days at the beach, and pretending to be happy for that long is exhausting. I think I managed to do it somewhat successfully though.

And I've got so little going on that I'm agreeing to the most ridiculous stuff. This weekend, I'm driving 16 hours (total) to spend less than 24 hours with extended family.
