^ Other WR's are Wallace, Jordy, Percy & Demaryius Thomas (for now - probably dropping him for someone else). Not great, so I'm hesitant to let go of Mario, but Brown has been catching on.This is a toughie.

Interesting situation I find myself in this week in my 12 team league. My current team (as far as RB/WR, start 3 WR, 2 RB, no flex) as it stands:Steve SmithHakeem NicksDez BryantBrandon LloydPierre GarconAdrian PetersonRyan MatthewsRashard MendenhallJahvid BestAP and Best are on bye which leaves me with just Mendenhall and Matthews. Injury report makes it look like Matthews could miss this week due to his groin, so I would have 1 RB active.Guy just put Hillis on the block for a WR, and it looks like Hillis will play against the Texans even though he is listed as questionable. Would you offer either Garcon or Lloyd for Hillis and see if the guy bites?Waiver Wire options are:Felix Jones (looks like he will miss 1 more week)Kevin Faulk Javon Ringer Mark IngramRyan GrantDonald BrownAre any of the waiver wire options better than trying to trade Garcon or Lloyd for Hillis? Should I just stand pat and hope Matthews plays?[Edited on November 2, 2011 at 10:13 AM. Reason : .]
11/2/2011 10:13:34 AM
I'd offer Llyod, but I could see Faulk having as many points as Hillis to be honest, moreso if its PPR
11/2/2011 10:24:04 AM
kc defense vs miami or oakland defense vs denver?
11/2/2011 11:22:40 AM
I might be leaning KC on that one...but that seems like a toss up to me. Both have potential to have big weeks considering the opponent.Pick 2: Nate Washington (vs CIN) or Julio Jones (@IND) or Michael Crabtree (@WAS)
11/2/2011 11:41:59 AM
^ I'd probably lean Julio & Crabtree if Jones is healthy.^^ I'd go with KC's defense this week.Eval this trade:Jordy & Tolbert for Andre Johnson. Johnson owner has Ryan Matthews and wants Tolbert bad. Also, picked up Michael Bush as my handcuff for DMC today. Traded BJGE straight up for him. Feel like I got a steal out of that one.
11/2/2011 11:44:14 AM
^That trade all depends on Johnson's health. If Johnson is healthy going forward, I'd probably make that trade. But Johnson's health is definitely a concern, IMO. Basically, if Johnson is going to play from here on out (assuming no new injury) then I'd do it...but I'd hate to make that trade and have Johnson be sitting out another week or 2. AP is on a bye this week...so, James Starks (@SD) or Michael Bush (vs DEN)? 0.5 PPR, FWIW[Edited on November 2, 2011 at 11:56 AM. Reason : ]
11/2/2011 11:53:36 AM
what do you guys think about this trade? who wins/losses?team 1 gives: Ryan MathewsMike Williams (TB)team 2 gives:Demarco MurrayVincent Jackson
11/2/2011 1:21:12 PM
Giving up Jackson and Murray is pretty dumb for those two.
11/2/2011 1:38:29 PM
picked reggie wayne out of free agency hell, giving up Greg Little for him.question now is, should i dump reggie wayne and sign Crabtree off Free Agency?
11/2/2011 1:44:14 PM
I'd probably take crabtree over wayne. AP is on a bye this week...so, James Starks (@SD) or Michael Bush (vs DEN)? 0.5 PPR, FWIW
11/2/2011 1:52:39 PM
^at the moment I would go with Bush, especially since McFadden didn't practice today.Vernon Davis vs RedskinsOrFred Davis vs Niners?
11/2/2011 2:13:29 PM
here's hoping Roddy White has a strong second half because I just gave up Michael Turner for him. thankfully he was my #4 RB
11/2/2011 2:42:32 PM
Pick my WR3:Mike Williams (TB) @NO (he's been awful but TB could have to throw a ton and they mightve worked our kinks during bye)Josh Cribbs @ hou (we get return yardage points and the browns coach said that cribbs could get a couple carries since they have so many rb injuries)Pick two (0.5 ppr)Mike Tolbert vs gbLegarrette Blount @ noMichael Bush vs DenMendenhall vs BaltLast one, pick my teAaron Hernandez vs nygJermichael Finley vs SD
11/2/2011 9:36:47 PM
^^ Fred is questionable and didn't practice today. SF gives up more points to TEs and Vernon isn't a great RZ tight end, but if Fred doesn't practice Friday I'd go forward with Vernon.

Can we go back to bolding important fantasy news? This used to be my go-to place for fantasy news, but this thread is now just worthless questions about some losers' fantasy teams.
11/2/2011 10:57:31 PM
11/3/2011 8:45:07 AM
What's the value of Mike Tolbert as a handcuff for Ryan Matthews? A decent #2 RB, a #2 WR, a #1 TE? Our league's Matthews owner wants him from me, but I've got to make him spend.
11/3/2011 9:52:52 AM
I just traded tolbert for hernandez
11/3/2011 9:55:53 AM
^ That's what he's offered me. Who was your other TE? What other RB's do you have?
11/3/2011 10:27:44 AM
I also have graham, but we can play 2 TE's. My other RB's are foster and murray/jones (can only play 2 RBs).Having hernandez and graham give me alot of flexibility which is why I did it.
11/3/2011 11:07:57 AM
Tolbert could be in for a big game this week if Mathews cant play. Same goes for Michael Bush if DMC is outalso
11/3/2011 11:14:09 AM
Williams (should be his best week of the year)Blount (finally healthy and only option)Bush (DMC is more likely out than Mathews, and OAK is a run-first offense)Baltimore's DEF is too unpredictable to play mendenhall over blount and bush. He could be solid, he could be shut down. It's 50/50 - so i play it safe and go with Blount and Bush.TE, I go with Hernandez. Rodgers has simply too many targets, and Finley is hit or miss. Hernandez will get you points and is a better Red Zone threat.
11/3/2011 11:20:57 AM
^^,^ mostly agree with the above assesment WilliamsBlount and Bush if DMC doesn't play Mendy if he doesHernandez, Finley is way too hit or missNeed 3 (RB, WR, Flex):Current starters in boldDeMarco Murray (Sea)Shonn Greene (Buf)Sidney Rice (Dal)Darrius Heyward-Bey (Den)Reggie Wayne (Atl)TE:Fred or Vernon Davis
11/3/2011 11:37:26 AM
Sounds like DMC may be held out this Sunday. All you DMC owners better handcuff it up with Mike Bush.
11/3/2011 11:40:24 AM
^^I would stick with who you have in bold
11/3/2011 12:00:16 PM
^^^ Well Ahmad Bradshaw was just ruled out (and AP is on a bye) so I have to start Murray and Greene now I need either Heyward-Bey or Reggie Wayne. Thoughts?[Edited on November 3, 2011 at 12:33 PM. Reason : .]
11/3/2011 12:27:28 PM
being offered LeGarrette Blount for Julio Jones in a dynasty league.strongly considering it. what do you lot think?
11/3/2011 1:54:17 PM
You should have taken Tom Brady when you had a chance, asshole.
11/3/2011 2:52:00 PM
ok, crazy situation. I have Gates, Gronk and A Hernandez as my TE's. I've tried trading one of them but this is a 10 man league and no one wants to do it.Who would you drop if you needed a QB for a fill in?
11/3/2011 3:02:42 PM
So I guess Bradshaw broke his foot and is out indefinitely with possible surgery?? Other reports are saying it's not so bad and might not get surgery.Better get Jacobs on your rosters, and look into DJ Ware as a possible pickup.
11/3/2011 3:41:32 PM
^^ Yikes. You don't have anyone else you can drop???
11/3/2011 4:13:18 PM
^^^and I thought I had a tough choice with my team, having Graham and Gronk. Like the other guy said, is there no one else to drop?Ok, I need some buy week DST advice:KC vs. MIA or OAK vs. DENBoth of the offenses that the D's are playing are terrible.
11/3/2011 4:26:22 PM
11/3/2011 4:40:03 PM
^^Honestly, your choice shouldn't be as hard.Graham who is the only TE on the Saints vs Gronk who shares time with Hernandez.
11/3/2011 5:36:07 PM
What do you all think of this? We're both 4-4.Give: Calvin JohnsonGet: Brandon Marshall, Rashard Mendenhall, Jermichael Finley[Edited on November 3, 2011 at 6:41 PM. Reason : ]
11/3/2011 6:41:01 PM
Sounds great for you. I would probably vote to veto that in my league.
11/3/2011 8:01:48 PM
i wouldnt veto that
11/3/2011 10:38:18 PM
this thread always sucks so bad. no questions ever get answered and 9/10 it's the wrong advice.
11/3/2011 10:50:46 PM
Just made this trade:Give: Mike Williams (TB) and Daniel ThomasGet: Michael Bush and Mario ManninghamI have McFadden, so I could definitely use Bush as a handcuff. Also, Williams has been a bust this year despite getting targeted a lot.
11/4/2011 8:07:13 AM
advice should be safe this week with biofreak on his honeymoon
11/4/2011 9:01:54 AM
^^ I like that trade for youHeyward-Bey vs DEN or Stevie Johnson vs. NYJ?
11/4/2011 9:20:31 AM
11/4/2011 11:59:21 AM
11/4/2011 1:18:19 PM
Need a bye week DST. Choose one:Dallas vs. SEAKC vs. MiaOAK vs. DEN
11/4/2011 4:46:07 PM
i'd go dallasNicks is doubtful this week. If he doesn't play I've got Gaffney (vs SF) or could pick up Crabtree (@WAS)...who is the better play, Gaffney or Crabtree?
11/4/2011 5:12:50 PM
I'd go crabtree. Smith is putting up WAY better numbers than whoever starts at Washington.
11/4/2011 5:17:25 PM
you made the wrong advice 2 weeks ago when u questioned me saying to bench lt as he wasnt really the "starting back" vs san diego
11/5/2011 2:16:03 AM
i think crabtree has better upside and potential for TDs. Gaffney has been a decent possession receiver this season, but expecting anything more than about 60 yards out of him is extremely optimistic.pick one as a flex play:j. battle vs miamid. murray vs seattlej. jones vs indianapolis
11/5/2011 12:49:07 PM
^I'm going with Battle.I have Tebow v. Oakland, Matt Ryan v. indy, Fitzpatrick v. NYJ.Matt Ryan seems like the clear winner, the only issue is Tebow scored 25 FP last year against oakland. But if he has another bad first half he could very well be benched which would be disastrous.[Edited on November 5, 2011 at 1:48 PM. Reason : .]
