^ Wow take some midol asshole. Pretty much a lot of people on Monday and Tuesday post how their team did. The only reason I even posted that was because some guy a few post before mine was mentioning how Westbrook cost him as well.

so early on, romo vs seattle or flacco vs denver?

^ I actually have both of those guys in one of my leagues, but I am going to stick with Romo based on three things.

1. Seattle got murdered in it's last game which bodes well for Romo/Cowboys.

2. Romo looked like the old Romo last weekend.

3. Denver defense is pretty nasty.

^^ i'd go with tony homo, Denver's pass D is too much

huge trade just got proposed to me

Send Steven Jackson, StL RB
Send Tom Brady, NE QB
Receive Calvin Johnson, Det WR
Receive Brett Favre, Min QB
Receive Vernon Davis, SF TE

Here's my current team
QBs: Brady, Cutler
RBs: Jackson, R. Brown, D. Brown, C. Taylor, K. Moreno, J. Stewart
WRs: Bowe, Berrian, B. Edwards, Burleson, Breaston
TE: Jermichael Finley (just got injured)

The stat program that I use to check trades says this is a great trade with a +91 to my starting roster and +137 to total roster value.

We start 2 RB 2 WR and 1 Flex

Opinions?

Farve is just extra anyway. I really need a WR1 and a TE

IDK, I would look for another Faverian miracle playing @ Lambeau this week.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see 225yds, 3 TD's and 2 INT's.

If you can live with that, he's start-able.

^ is that a yes or a no on the trade. I feel really bad trading my first two overall picks, and Brady has been my best performer by far this season.

non-ppr league, 1pt per 10 yards rushing/receiving, 1pt per 20 yards returning

pick 3 WR:
Roddy White @ NO
Greg Jennings vs. Minn
Vincent Jackson vs. Oak
Mike Sims-Walker @ Ten
Sidney Rice @ GB
Joshua Cribbs @ Chi

pick 2 RB:
Deangelo Williams @ Ari
Kevin Smith vs. Stl

White (gonna be a high scoring game)
Jackson (playing oak... nuff said)
Sims-Walker (see above... Tenn has the worst pass D ever)

Deangelo (never bench him)
Smith (playing StL... They're bad, really bad)

Well if your concerned over Jackson then your next best play is Jennings or Rice but both of those guys are gonna be splitting catches with Driver and Harvin/Berrian respectably. Plus Rivers always torches the Raiders. I'll bet Jackson has at least one touchdown.

Well, big game this week. I'm alone in first up 1 game and im playing the guy alone in 2nd. A win gives me a nice cushion, a loss drops me to 2nd.

Not 100% sure on my WR and RB situation this week. We start 3 WR, 2RB, and 1 WR/RB

WR:

Sims-Walker @ Tenn
V. Jackson vs Oak
G. Jennings vs Minn
Manningham @ Phil

Gore @ Ind.
MJD @ Ten
Sproles vs Oak
T. Hightower vs Car
D. Brown vs SF (prob hurt?)

For the 3 WR slots I'm definitely going with Jackson and Sim-Walker..but can't decide between Manningham and G. Jennings (who has been a huge disappointment pts-wise the whole year).

MJD def gets one of the run spots. Gore is my lean for the 2nd, but he really hasnt done much this season despite 2 big games to start the season. His two other played games were like .3 and 3 pts.

So its really WR #3, RB #2, and WR/RB slot that are up for debate.

My initial thought is:

Sims-Walker @ Tenn
V. Jackson vs Oak
Manningham @ Phil

MJD @ Ten
Sproles vs Oak

With the WR/RB slot wide open between the remaining players.

LT, marshawn are both on teams with terrible offensive lines. Their performance is more dependent on the opponent defense, unlike better backs on better teams. Hell, LT has 9 goal line rushes against a crappy KC defense and still didnt get a TD.

^^^^ Your RB situation is bad. Do you have depth at other position where you could trade for a better 1RB.

Need advice:

Would you make this deal? I get Gore, he gets Colston.

I have okay depth at both WR and RB, but Colston is my best WR and I am iffy on Gore playing well the rest of the season. He's really only had one good game this year due to injury and SF is such a sketch team.

So I had Cooley and the following was proposed to me:

I get: Vernon Davis, Ginn Jr (toss in)
I give: Tim Hightower, Lee Evans

My current other RB: Adrian Peterson, Cedric Benson, Kevin Smith, Tashard Choice, Jamaal Charles
My current other WR: Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Sidney Rice, Donnie Avery
(We start 3 WR, 2 RB, and 1 flex)

I've also picked up tight ends Fred Davis and John Carlson for security

It's only a 10 team league, so I'm tempted to make this trade since Davis is the 2nd highest scoring TE in the league right now. Hightower is my 3rd best RB (so essentially a flex) and Evans only a bye week replacement.

^^^^^I'd keep Colston...his schedule over the rest of the season is slightly better, plus no injury or QB worries like Gore

^^^I've had the same question in a couple leagues...I've dropped him in both, I see no point in holding onto a guy who I haven't been starting anyways

^^I always see a bit more upside for a TE that doesn't have a great QB situation...they usually get targeted more for short passes and check downs...that leads me to lean towards Davis

^^^^^ take the trade you don't need either Hightower (AP, Benson, and Smith should be every week starters for you) or Evens (VJ and RW should start every week at your WRs too) and you need a TE

^^^^yes drop LJ, he will not be playing for anyone at the end of the season

^^^ Davis

I would go:

WR-
Sims-Walker
Jackson
Jennings (I think he might have a good game since it should be a decent scoring game and Rodgers is going to try and outplay Favre since he lost in the first matchup, and they are playing in Lambeau)

RB-
MJD
Gore

Flex-
Sproles

Little bit of a choice to make this week. Chances are NYG will be throwing the ball more, but Hester averages 4-5 catches a game, and I'm in a PPR league.

Mario Manningham @PHI
Devin Hester vs. CLE

What do you guys think?

Hester.

He's good for 100 and a score against CLE, who has one of the bottom 3 in pass defense.

San Diego vs. Oak

Why would you want to carry two defenses? Out of the 3 I would take San Diego against Oakland this week. If you want to keep two drop the Packers d.

Who to start:

Donnie Avery vs Detroit

Austin Collie vs San Fran

Also at Rb:

Marshawn Lynch vs Hou

Marion Barber vs Sea

haha, this guy in one of my leagues got pissed when I rejected his trade offer of his Cadillac Williams for my Anquan Boldin.

I rejected his offer and countered with an equally ridiculous offer, which he then rejected and proceeded to re-offer me the Caddy for Boldin trade, here is what he said:

Quote :
"wtf!!! you said you need rb. i'm giving you a starter in trade for a hurt wr that has to share the field with larry fizgeralard. and williams has 55.10 pts vs boldins 39.60 pts. and rb touch the ball much more than a wr."

to be fair, I mentioned that I needed a RB before week 7 because both of my starters were on a bye, but now they are back.

There's a pending trade in my league:

Moreno/Big Ben for Gore/Fitzgerald

The latter team is last and could care less(he's not in the league next year). But this one has me pissed off...am I overreacting? I've already voted to veto. Ben rides the other guy's bench.
