2000 postsI am down 14 and change tonight, I have McNabb, and my opponent has Celek...seems winnable but should be a close one!
10/26/2009 5:24:33 PM

10/26/2009 5:26:37 PM

10/26/2009 7:46:22 PM
tonight in one league i neede westbrook to go offin the other, i just needed desean jackson and portis to NOT go off
10/26/2009 10:02:07 PM
you're fucked!
10/26/2009 10:06:33 PM
^^ hahaha perfectly fuckedi dropped mccoy this week. excellent timing!1 point per reception is waaay too much, FYI.
10/26/2009 10:15:36 PM
ya, in the one league, i have westbrook, andre johnson and turner starting for a combined 20 pts. good output for your top 3...
10/26/2009 10:34:34 PM
Up some 20 points going against the Eagles D. These Redskins blow donkey balls.
10/26/2009 10:59:22 PM
I had a ~30 pt lead going into last night's game. Dude I was playing had Westbrook. I won.
10/27/2009 9:13:08 AM
Nobody fucking cares.Notice how no one really replies to posts like these....This thread is for fantasy football advice....not to tell everyone all about your fabulous team.
10/27/2009 2:43:20 PM
^ Wow take some midol asshole. Pretty much a lot of people on Monday and Tuesday post how their team did. The only reason I even posted that was because some guy a few post before mine was mentioning how Westbrook cost him as well.
10/27/2009 4:26:30 PM
lol, my opponent coming up only has like 3 starters that aren't on bye so early on, romo vs seattle or flacco vs denver?
10/27/2009 4:27:41 PM
^ I actually have both of those guys in one of my leagues, but I am going to stick with Romo based on three things.1. Seattle got murdered in it's last game which bodes well for Romo/Cowboys.2. Romo looked like the old Romo last weekend.3. Denver defense is pretty nasty.
10/27/2009 4:47:10 PM
^^ i'd go with tony homo, Denver's pass D is too muchhuge trade just got proposed to meSend Steven Jackson, StL RB Send Tom Brady, NE QB Receive Calvin Johnson, Det WR Receive Brett Favre, Min QB Receive Vernon Davis, SF TE Here's my current teamQBs: Brady, CutlerRBs: Jackson, R. Brown, D. Brown, C. Taylor, K. Moreno, J. StewartWRs: Bowe, Berrian, B. Edwards, Burleson, BreastonTE: Jermichael Finley (just got injured)The stat program that I use to check trades says this is a great trade with a +91 to my starting roster and +137 to total roster value. We start 2 RB 2 WR and 1 FlexOpinions?[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 4:50 PM. 10/27/2009 4:49:30 PM
I personally wouldn't trust Favre to keep this pace up...didn't he start fairly hot last year and end up sucking?
10/27/2009 4:51:39 PM
^ yea but I've got cutler too and he hasn't done that bad even tho i hate him as a personFarve is just extra anyway. I really need a WR1 and a TE[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 4:54 PM. Reason : .]
10/27/2009 4:53:44 PM
IDK, I would look for another Faverian miracle playing @ Lambeau this week.Wouldn't surprise me at all to see 225yds, 3 TD's and 2 INT's. If you can live with that, he's start-able.
10/27/2009 4:57:21 PM
^ is that a yes or a no on the trade. I feel really bad trading my first two overall picks, and Brady has been my best performer by far this season.[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 4:59 PM. Reason : .]
10/27/2009 4:58:43 PM
Also how much of a question mark is Calvin Johnson going to be the rest of the season?
10/27/2009 5:21:21 PM
i would never touch jackson or westbrook with a 10 foot pole in any round. that said, it looks like an ok trade to me
10/27/2009 7:22:13 PM
non-ppr league, 1pt per 10 yards rushing/receiving, 1pt per 20 yards returningpick 3 WR:Roddy White @ NOGreg Jennings vs. MinnVincent Jackson vs. OakMike Sims-Walker @ TenSidney Rice @ GBJoshua Cribbs @ Chipick 2 RB:Deangelo Williams @ AriKevin Smith vs. StlPierre Thomas vs. Atl (MNF)
10/27/2009 7:37:14 PM
White (gonna be a high scoring game)Jackson (playing oak... nuff said)Sims-Walker (see above... Tenn has the worst pass D ever)Deangelo (never bench him)Smith (playing StL... They're bad, really bad)
10/27/2009 8:26:07 PM
Vincent is the only person I have a concern over, he'll be up against Asomugha with the Raiders
10/27/2009 8:39:45 PM
Well if your concerned over Jackson then your next best play is Jennings or Rice but both of those guys are gonna be splitting catches with Driver and Harvin/Berrian respectably. Plus Rivers always torches the Raiders. I'll bet Jackson has at least one touchdown.
10/27/2009 9:00:16 PM
Well, big game this week. I'm alone in first up 1 game and im playing the guy alone in 2nd. A win gives me a nice cushion, a loss drops me to 2nd.Not 100% sure on my WR and RB situation this week. We start 3 WR, 2RB, and 1 WR/RBWR:Sims-Walker @ TennV. Jackson vs OakG. Jennings vs MinnManningham @ PhilGore @ Ind.MJD @ TenSproles vs OakT. Hightower vs CarD. Brown vs SF (prob hurt?)For the 3 WR slots I'm definitely going with Jackson and Sim-Walker..but can't decide between Manningham and G. Jennings (who has been a huge disappointment pts-wise the whole year). MJD def gets one of the run spots. Gore is my lean for the 2nd, but he really hasnt done much this season despite 2 big games to start the season. His two other played games were like .3 and 3 pts.So its really WR #3, RB #2, and WR/RB slot that are up for debate. My initial thought is:Sims-Walker @ TennV. Jackson vs OakManningham @ PhilMJD @ TenSproles vs OakWith the WR/RB slot wide open between the remaining players.

How would you rank these for the rest of the season?Shonn greenebeanie wellsjamaal charlesI am looking to play matchups with them along with LT and marshawn[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 11:55 PM. Reason : PPR league!]
10/27/2009 11:52:26 PM
^ politely disagreeing, I don't think that would be an intelligent idea.[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 11:57 PM. Reason : The LT and Marshawn idea.]
10/27/2009 11:56:27 PM
brent celek, or vernon davis... for the rest of the season? every time i play celek davis goes off, like his wonderful bench 3td performance for me this week that would have won my matchup.
10/28/2009 5:13:06 AM
LT, marshawn are both on teams with terrible offensive lines. Their performance is more dependent on the opponent defense, unlike better backs on better teams. Hell, LT has 9 goal line rushes against a crappy KC defense and still didnt get a TD.
10/28/2009 8:46:04 AM
^^^^ Your RB situation is bad. Do you have depth at other position where you could trade for a better 1RB.Need advice:Would you make this deal? I get Gore, he gets Colston.I have okay depth at both WR and RB, but Colston is my best WR and I am iffy on Gore playing well the rest of the season. He's really only had one good game this year due to injury and SF is such a sketch team.[Edited on October 28, 2009 at 9:41 AM. Reason : y]
10/28/2009 9:39:54 AM
So I had Cooley and the following was proposed to me:I get: Vernon Davis, Ginn Jr (toss in)I give: Tim Hightower, Lee EvansMy current other RB: Adrian Peterson, Cedric Benson, Kevin Smith, Tashard Choice, Jamaal CharlesMy current other WR: Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Sidney Rice, Donnie Avery(We start 3 WR, 2 RB, and 1 flex)I've also picked up tight ends Fred Davis and John Carlson for securityIt's only a 10 team league, so I'm tempted to make this trade since Davis is the 2nd highest scoring TE in the league right now. Hightower is my 3rd best RB (so essentially a flex) and Evans only a bye week replacement.
10/28/2009 10:45:15 AM
lol should i drop LJ now, or does will he just sign for some desperate team and start to produce
10/28/2009 10:51:26 AM
Who's worth owning more in a non-mandatory TE league???CelekV. Davis
10/28/2009 11:05:14 AM
venereal disease
10/28/2009 11:40:02 AM
^^^^^I'd keep Colston...his schedule over the rest of the season is slightly better, plus no injury or QB worries like Gore^^^I've had the same question in a couple leagues...I've dropped him in both, I see no point in holding onto a guy who I haven't been starting anyways^^I always see a bit more upside for a TE that doesn't have a great QB situation...they usually get targeted more for short passes and check downs...that leads me to lean towards Davis[Edited on October 28, 2009 at 11:43 AM. Reason : ^]
10/28/2009 11:42:59 AM
^^^^^ take the trade you don't need either Hightower (AP, Benson, and Smith should be every week starters for you) or Evens (VJ and RW should start every week at your WRs too) and you need a TE^^^^yes drop LJ, he will not be playing for anyone at the end of the season^^^ Davis[Edited on October 28, 2009 at 12:19 PM. Little bit of a choice to make this week. Chances are NYG will be throwing the ball more, but Hester averages 4-5 catches a game, and I'm in a PPR league.Mario Manningham @PHIDevin Hester vs. CLEWhat do you guys think?
10/28/2009 1:21:59 PM
^^ cool thats pretty reasonable. thanks for the opinion.
10/28/2009 1:28:11 PM
Hester. He's good for 100 and a score against CLE, who has one of the bottom 3 in pass defense.
10/28/2009 1:28:58 PM
pick my DEF:Minnesota @ GBGB vs. MinnSan Diego vs. Oakif I pick up SD, I'll have to drop Minn or GB[Edited on October 28, 2009 at 4:05 PM. Reason : asdf]
10/28/2009 4:04:34 PM
Why would you want to carry two defenses? Out of the 3 I would take San Diego against Oakland this week. If you want to keep two drop the Packers d.Who to start:Donnie Avery vs DetroitAustin Collie vs San FranAlso at Rb:Marshawn Lynch vs HouMarion Barber vs Sea
10/28/2009 4:50:26 PM
Avery and Lynch (if he is not still ailing from that injury)
10/28/2009 6:30:13 PM
who to drop?chris cooley (washington) or kellen winslow (tampa bay)?both have byes this week and i suddenly need a backup.
10/28/2009 8:49:26 PM
cooley chipped a bone in his foot and will be out for at least 4 weekskeep that in mind
10/28/2009 8:53:40 PM
haha, this guy in one of my leagues got pissed when I rejected his trade offer of his Cadillac Williams for my Anquan Boldin.I rejected his offer and countered with an equally ridiculous offer, which he then rejected and proceeded to re-offer me the Caddy for Boldin trade, here is what he said:
10/29/2009 12:14:20 PM
Need some advise here...Matt Ryan @NO or,Jay Cutler vs CLEAnd 2 receivers from:Nate Burleson @DAL,Steve Smith (CAR) @ARI,Devin Hester vs CLEBraylon Edwards vs MIA

cutlerHester and burleson
10/29/2009 1:28:36 PM
There's a pending trade in my league:Moreno/Big Ben for Gore/FitzgeraldThe latter team is last and could care less(he's not in the league next year). But this one has me pissed off...am I overreacting? I've already voted to veto. Ben rides the other guy's bench.
