I think people are done hating on Westbrook now. They've finally realized that outside of Durant and Westbrook nobody else is doing shit. Harden has disappeared, Ibaka has had limited impact, the rest of their role players aren't contributing. Westbrook has to be a scorer and they can't defend him on the drive.

Bottom line, unless somebody else for OKC can start putting up 15 points they won't make it to game 6two let alone win.

I still had a dumbass friend post "Westbrook is taking too many shots" after last night. Ugh...

He was 20-32!!! If anything, he should have taken more shots!

Also....are we still bitching about the refs??

Legler was on 99.9 this morning talking about how he felt that the thunder players (really just durant/westbrook) were not getting the "bump" foul calls that the heat have gotten and continue to get in this series. he wasn't so much complaining about the officiating as he was just making an observation.

i probably agree with his statement but i dont think the officiating has been terrible to the extent that it is THE reason why the thunder are down 3-1. what the games are coming down to are the 4th quarter, and the biggest plays of the game are MADE shots in critical situations NOT missed shots due to no calls/made free throws due to inconsistent calls.

The motion is so beautiful when player uses his left hand to do a layup.
See LBJ and Westbrook yesterday.

I don't even think Wade is getting calls anymore. You can tell it in his play. Combination of being a little injured and not getting calls, he doesn't try to jump into defenders during jump shots and pulls it back out a lot instead of driving to the basket. And he got MAULED by Ibaka last night. Announcers tried to say that Ibaka jumped straight up, but he was under the basket when Wade went up and was a good foot in front of hit when he slammed into Wade.

Lebron is getting the benefit of the doubt with the calls this series...but I don't think Wade is.

What are the betting odds of the Thunder winning out? It's gonna happen if the Heat lose game 5.

i hope this is a joke. no finals team has ever even forced a game 7 down 3-1 let alone coming back to win the series.

It's happened several times in the playoffs, just not in the finals. It could happen. Especially with a team like OKC. Just wondering what the betting odds are.

is it Scott Brooks' fault that the best shooting guard in the NBA was 2-10 from the field?

Brooks' big fuck-up last night (and you can argue the whole series)...was playing Fisher 22 minutes. That guy is fucking worthless.

I don't understand your analogy. Teams have come back from 3-1 deficits before. It's more like implying that since nobody has ever scored than 50 points in a finals game when facing elimination it's impossible for Durant to do it.

Harden is shooting like shit but he had 10 rebounds last game. And why the hell is brooks putting harden on Lebron? It's not hardens fault that brooks is an idiot .

The play of the game last night was fisher getting beat for that rebound by haslem and then the ball being kicked out for a wide open three.

You could say fisher was fouled on that play but the bottom line is almost any other player in the league would have been able to get that rebound and/or draw the foul. He's played like 70 minutes since his last rebound or assist and he's not even an efficient scorer anymore. When he got blocked on his stupid Ass drive it gave Miami a fast break bucket too. They may as well play 5 on 4.

half of his rebounds were in valueless situations where Miami settled on a long jumper and had already gotten back to get set on defense before the shot missed...somebody on the Thunder had to get the board, Harden just happened to...if Miami doesn't even try to crash the offensive glass on a possession, anybody can get the rebound, which is why its so funny you value rebounds so much without accounting how they were gotten...same way Lebron pads his own rebound numbers when OKC settles on a jumper, and guys like Haslem and Bosh just let Lebron get the board right beside them

Harden played like shit last night, and in Game 3, get off his nuts

Obviously he's not playing well. So why aren't they playing ibaka and sefolosha? That's the reason they're losing this series. Funny to see brooks blame Perkins today. Perkins has sucked all season you retard, you're the one playing him!

Sefolosha has been pretty terrible the last 2 games as well

i think the problem is when Durant and Westbrook are forced to carry the team on their backs, the other guys tend to just stand around...they probably should start Collison at the 5 though

I would love to see Westbrook drop like 50 tonight...just to shut people the fuck up. I've now switched from a Lebron/Heat defender...to a Westbrook defender. People are idiots.

Westbrook definitely has potential. It'd be tough to play that style on a nightly basis but thankfully he's on a team that's good enough he can coast thru the regular season and just play like that in big games.

Still not in a class with the elite pg's like Rondo and Paul though.

I think he's an elite guard. This team doesn't need an elite point guard. The combo of him and Harden do enough creating to get Durant wide open shots. Also, once they get a healthy Maynor back, that will fill in all of the "distributing" needs they have.

You don't need a Paul or Rondo on this team.

He has potential to pass through Paul and Rondo as he's only 23 yrs old.
But I'm concern about his health. He plays very similar as Rose.

IF Miami wins tonight...how often does the underdog win a series this convincingly (4-1 of course...the games have been pretty close)? I think we can all agree that most people were picking the Thunder (myself not included, of course).

Did Detroit beat LA in five games? I loved that series. How heavily favored was Dallas over Miami a few years back? Any else in the recent era?

btw...Rachel Nichols is looking cute tonight. She's usually about 50/50 in her appearance. In general, I don't think she's attractive...but I've got a monster crush on her.
