Not news to me, but still unbelievable how many professional teams of the same sport there are in that city.Innit?
1/12/2011 9:52:15 PM
Yeah, there's no legend but I'm pretty sure that map only covers like 1/2 mile across or something. Maybe a mile.

Is the map above showing that QPR's ground is in a pro-Chelsea area? I find it odd that that area isn't at least a 50/50. Dag & Red at least controls some of the area around its ground with West Ham.[Edited on January 13, 2011 at 8:13 AM. Reason : .]

1/14/2011 10:56:11 AM
I wonder where Pienaar is going. It looked like he was locked up at Spurs, then Chelsea was in, now I'm reading MeeeelanI also wonder if Liverpool will sign any of the 5000 names they're linked with
1/14/2011 11:19:34 AM
I think the real question is... how many more strikers are City going to buy? 7? 8? Personally, I think they're gonna break the bank and buy 14 more and field a team of 10 strikers and Joe Hart.
1/14/2011 3:28:56 PM
it's not that many if you ignore the bitches that aren't wanted/never playtevez, dzeko, and balotelli is pretty much it
1/14/2011 4:03:07 PM
Yeah, but in the one striker they formation that they play, how many do they really need? I mean they play with two offensive wingers and one in the hole too but they've got like 6 strikers on that team already and then Yaya, Milner, Johnson, Silva, and Jo take the other offensive positions.
1/14/2011 4:30:52 PM
I think it's fucking dumb that they have the forwards/attacking players they do and Yaya plays so high up the fieldIf they had a coach like Holloway, somebody with the balls to go all out, they'd certainly have the personnel to be exciting as hell
1/14/2011 4:50:35 PM
True. They've got the best D in the Prem though. Hard to argue with it at this point if it's working.
1/14/2011 5:02:56 PM
if they won the league, Mancini would probably petition the FA to let them put a scudetto on their shirts
1/14/2011 5:34:19 PM
1/14/2011 6:38:44 PM
fucking joke dude
1/14/2011 8:09:30 PM
I read somewhere that Mancini is going to bust out his "5 man attack" now that he feels "confident" with Dzeko thereI can't wait to see them get caught on the counter time after time
1/14/2011 8:22:17 PM
lolololol Wolves up 1-0 in the first 15 min
1/15/2011 10:15:24 AM

1/15/2011 11:30:23 AM
They scored one. It wasn't out of the question that they could've scored another. It's Manchester City, for god's sake - not Barca. City are the most paperiest of paper tigers.

Walcott finds the roof of the net for a stellar goal.
1/15/2011 1:17:13 PM
Oh, look who's back.
1/15/2011 1:21:30 PM
Called Walcott's finishing 10 days ago That goal from Tevez was filthy.
1/15/2011 9:50:53 PM
Definitely looking forward to 11 am tomorrowThis is a litmus test-type game for Spurs. They come in with a ton of confidence and could gain a ton more if they can somehow pull out a win. It's a must win game at home if we really are contenders for the throne. Realistically, I'd be happy with a draw though
1/16/2011 12:43:44 AM

1/16/2011 11:52:34 AM

1/16/2011 11:55:16 AM

1/16/2011 6:46:16 PM
aston villa 5th, my prediction couldn't be much worse right now. also, i saw rafael's second yellow. initially when it was live, i thought it was a yellow card. when they showed the replay, it was pretty obvious that rafael was trying not to hit him, so he didn't deserve it. i can see why the ref called it though, assu-ekotto was clear on the sideline for the cross if it hadn't happened.
1/16/2011 6:54:51 PM
Rafael's 2nd was definitely harsh but his first tackle was real close to being red so it kind of evens out, in my opinion.
1/16/2011 7:53:40 PM
im about to watch the longer highlight video on footytube so ill be able to see his first yellow
1/17/2011 12:31:05 AM
ok yeah i could see the first maybe being red, but it was called yellow. doesnt mean he should get another yellow if he trips over someone elses feet trying to avoid somebody...he should get another yellow for a yellow-worthy offense[Edited on January 17, 2011 at 1:02 AM. Reason : f]
1/17/2011 1:01:58 AM
nah, I just meant karma-wise it all kind of evened out. And he can't really complain about the second when he got lucky with the first.I thought the first was a bad tackle when I saw it real-time but not red worthy. But seeing a bunch of replays and how high his foot was, I thought that it should have been red. The second looked like a definite yellow in real-time but when you see it in slow motion, it's obvious it wasn't intentional. But it would be extremely hard for a referee to not give the yellow in that situation. It's one of those cards where I'd be annoyed if it was my team for sure, but as a "neutral" and coming from a referee perspective, it makes sense. Basically, pundits and fans might have thought it was a bad call but I doubt the assessor for his match gave him low marks for the call.[Edited on January 17, 2011 at 8:10 AM. Reason : .]
