Laser Tag is a terrible date idea. If you're going to go to a mini-golf place and can't golf, just play Skeeball and air hockey.

Depends on the girl you are dating. And you can make anything fun with the right company. Some of my first dates with my husband were just 2 hour long walks around the neighborhood, stopping in to whatever shop we felt like going to.

yeah cooking for her is something in my mind for shortly down the road.

i'm not running out of date ideas, just a little rusty. plus there is a little distance between us. she lives around the lake, i'm in the city. so it's not as easy as meeting on the street corner and seeing where the night takes us. though, just doing that down here is another idea up my sleeve when she doesn't have to wake up at 5:30 for work

First couple dates should be someplace both people feel comfortable. First date get an idea of things she likes and then use that for second date ideas. Dont go out of your way to do some crazy date idea that one of the other may end up not enjoying. If she mentions loving to play mini golf then sure but otherwise I'd save that for several dates in after you know things are going well.

Granted I went on a lot of dates before I had success so take anything I say with a grain of salt haha. I think the most important thing you can do is just be yourself because in the end you want to find someone who wants to be with the person you really are not the guy you play on a date to try to impress her.

honestly, that's why i like this girl. she put "average" and was honest. "hey i only like to work out a couple times a week. sometimes more, sometimes less" and that's completely ok with me. i like girls that have a little meat on them. plus i don't want someone shoving health tips and workouts in my face while we're dating. if we decide to workout together down the line or support each other's new health habits so be it. but if i want to sit my ass on the couch after work i don't want someone judging me about it.
