End of last year the Gillette Power Fusion was free at CVS and I got some for my husband.....and then I stole them all back. I will say whatever that orange one that is sometimes free is HEINOUS! Soliel?

Good luck on trying to trade the razors. I think it is a great idea.

Oh and thanks about the Palmeros pizza. I got some at HT during the SD where they were BOGO for 1.25 w/ $1 coupon and I thought those were the best frozen pizzas ever!

I went to Kroger yesterday, there was nothing on the Yoplait to indicate they were included, as there was for other products. They did have it on SmartOnes which were on sale anyhow, so I picked up a bunch of those instead. If anyone can confirm the individual Yoplaits are actually involved at a Kroger in Raleigh that would be a great deal.

HT has Sure Max deodorant marked down to $2.02 (reg like 5.99), but if you open up the package there's a $2.50 off coupon inside--so they're paying you 48 cents to try it...but, wait, there's more: you can go to http://www.trysurefree.com and they'll rebate your $2.02

If you use that coupon at HT, it should either automatically adjust down to the cost of the product. Or it'll beep for a cashier override.

Did you actually get it to go through for the entire $2.50?

Totinos Party Pizza is on sale at Lowes Food 8 for $10. If you buy 8, you get $2 Fresh Rewards Cash (kind of like Extra Care bucks but you can't cash out your rewards until you have $5 in your account). There is also a catalina deal going on with Totinos. If you buy 8, you get a coupon for $3 off your next order.

Here is what I did:
8 pizzas $10
1 $1/5 coupon
1 $.60/3 coupon

$7.80. And I got $2 Fresh Reward cash in my account and a $3 on your next order coupon. So it's like paying $2.80/8 pizzas or $.35/pizza.

I gave away most of my glade candle holders for Christmas and random gifts so if anyone has some extras laying around, I would like to acquire some that look like this:

Let me know if you run across a good deal for the holders. I want to use them for my wedding.

Flipz are free ($1.99 BOGO + .50/1 coupon) at HT, by the way! The nutrition information was a little shocking to me, but I got three bags anyway.

Contessa Micro-Steam shrimp (just the shrimp, not the meal) are sort of a deal at HT on Tryon: $7.99 BOGO + 1.50/2 coupon. Obviously, you have to buy two, but it comes up to $3.25/bag. A bag includes around 9 oz. of shrimp in a tasty sauce that cook perfectly in the microwave in four minutes--definitely the best prepared, frozen shrimp I've ever had (and in the microwave at that!).

I got 8 bags--only tried the Tikka Masala (curry) so far and they were delicious over some rice. But maybe they'll get even cheaper? I know that if everybody holds out long enough they'll eventually have to give them away, but I couldn't wait. (My bad, guys.)

Yeah I got some Flipz on Sunday from HT. The peanut butter chocolate ones are so damn good.

Dawn dish detergent (smaller size) is also on sale (through June sometime) at HT for $.99. Use the $.50 coupon from the last P&G insert (expires 4/30/10) and get it free.

Alright, I went to Lowes Foods this morning...

I got...

2 boxes of Fiber One Honey Clusters cereal (.65/box)
3 2-liters of diet Mountain Dew (.67/bottle)
2 boxes of Chex Mix bars (1.00/box)
2 half gallons of Silk soy milk (1.29/half gallon)
2 Birds Eye steamfresh vegetables (1.50/carton)

Paid: $11.36
Saved: $23.19

Everything was on sale, and I had coupons from the Sunday paper on all but the Mountain Dew. MD was on "sale" for a $1/each, plus a peelie on the bottle for $1/3.

BE veggies and Silk milk weren't particularly good deals, but I love the milk because it lasts so long, and I can't get enough steamer vegetables. All the Fiber One cereals on sale were presweetened, which I don't like because I like to add Splenda myself, but it has so much fiber (51% DV in my box), and it's such an obnoxiously exclusive brand that I couldn't pass it up at 65 cents a box.

Anyway, if any of this appeals to you, I think today is the last day for some of these deals before they switch over to new sales tomorrow.

Oh yeah, save up your $1+ coupons...super doubles may be coming to HT in a few weeks!

All grocery stores (with the exception of Kroger) change their ads on Wednesday.

so new store sales don't start until Wednesday.

So you would have tomorrow to do that deal as well.

Kroger's new store sales start on Sunday.

Has HT been doing triples/super doubles/whatever way more than normal? I thought it was normally only a few times a year, but now it seems like it's been every few weeks.

Does seem like a lot more than normal, I think some of it is just due to the economy, trying to keep people coming back to the store instead of finding cheaper grocery options (Trader Joe's, Food Lion, etc.)

I think Trader Joe's stock is very limited and I would be hesitant to call them a true grocery store because they have half the product that a normal grocery store would have.

They didn't even have squash and zuchinni in the produce section. I mean, Whole Foods at least has that stuff.

I just don't like TJ's.

TJ's is limited in some ways, but it makes up for it by having a good selection of some things other stores don't have.

TJ's is the Aldi of natural food. You go there to stock up on cheap stuff but you have to go to the regular grocery store too.

TJ's has the aseptic packs of almond breeze for $2, $1 with the $1 coupon. I have bought several for when the boy forces me to go camping and I forget to buy regular milk at the grocery store.

I drive right by TJ's several times a week, so making a 15 minute trip to save me $5 or $10 is worth it.I get all my dried fruit except for raisins there, banana chips, and the almond milk. I probably wouldn't go much if it was out of the way, but I can't eat most of what they sell anyway.

Harris Teeter has the Lunchables subs on sale 10/$10. There were $1 off coupons a couple months ago. I got 3 free last night

I also did the Kashi deal. HT is giving $3 off your order when you buy any 3 Kashi items.

Here is what I did:

3 boxes of Kashi on sale 2/$6. So $3/box.
3 Lunchables Subs on sale $1
1 Wholly Guacamole Pico de Gallo style $3.99

$15.99 BC-$3 for buying 3 Kashi items= $12.99

Then I used:
1 coupon for free box of Kashi cereal (got in a mailer from Vocalpoint) -$3
2 $1.50 coupons for Kashi cereal (got in same mailer from Vocalpoint) - 3.00 (2 $1.50 coupons)
3 $1 coupons for Lunchables -$3
1 coupon for free Wholly Guacamole (wrote to company and praised their product) -$3.99

OOP: $.18

This isn't grocery really, but per slickdeals, Target has their "60" Watt GE Reveal CFLs (their better CFLs) on sale for $2 per 4 pack this week. They also have a coupon that is good until May 27 for $1.50 off those same bulbs. ie $0.50 for a 4 pack of GEs nice CFLs. Good deal. I plan to pick up a pack over lunch if I get time.

I shoulda read this thread.

I headed off to Lowes prepped for doubles, and was like, "Oh snaps, triples!!!"

HT is supposed to start doing super doubles/triples soon, and the thought of it is exhausting. I'm not gonna start thinking about it 'til this weekend.

triples at HT starts tomorrow.

I have used all the coupons that I would have used at HT triples at Lowes triples.

So I will be sitting this HT triples out.

Lowes is so much more convenient for me than HT. I hope they start doing triples more. Its been about 2 years since Lowes last did triples in this area. I think it was the week before my wedding (October 2008) that they last did triples.

Just an FYI, the coupon is off of targets site online where you can print coupons or whatever. Probably already knew that, just wanted to make sure.

There is also a $1/1 manufacturer's coupon from the 3/7/10 and 4/18/10 Smartsource inserts.

It is worded to work on "GE Energy Smart, Reveal or GE Edison Halogen product any"

So as per CalledToArms, they are $2 for a 4pack. So use the $1 manufacturer's coupon first and then the $1.50 Target coupon and get the lightbulbs free.

If you use the Target coupon first and then the manufacturer's, the manufacturer's will beep.

If you use the manufacturer's coupon first and then the Target's, the Target coupon will adjust to $1 off. So you are getting them free but Target adjusts the Target coupon down so you aren't getting an overage.

Just got back from doing the lightbulb deal.

If you give the manufacturer's coupon first and the Target coupon 2nd, you will get $.50 overage on each pack of lightbulbs.
