go to the lady in the mall...right next to radio shack. she did a great job on my dress the other day and at a great price! and QUICK. I took it in and she said, "come back tomorrow night to pick it up;" I was amazed.[Edited on June 22, 2007 at 1:06 PM. Reason : ]

6/22/2007 1:38:48 PM
dont laughbut go to Wang's TailorBy the McDonalds at the corner of western and gorman
6/22/2007 1:40:01 PM
yep! crabtree
6/22/2007 1:44:55 PM
Oh god. Don't listen to him. Wang's Taylor is awful.Joe and I went ONE time. He got two suits altered and she couldn't even sew the buttons on the bottom of the arm straight so they were in a zig zag pattern.I got a pair of pants taken in and 3 pairs hemmed. W/in 3 weeks, the belt loop on the back of my pants where she took them in was falling off and all 3 hems were coming out.Absolutely terrible.
6/22/2007 2:01:47 PM
you have to go there on a saturday
6/22/2007 2:02:55 PM
For you big breasted women...I got this one and it is wonderful. Lot's of support, really comfortable, removable padding for those that don't need any, and it's cute. They have other patterns too.
6/26/2007 6:26:15 PM
pomade CAN dry out and get goopier. Took me a LOT more work to make it pliable and useable today....the lid had been off for three or four days
6/26/2007 6:45:24 PM
Has anyone seen anywhere selling cute versatile summer dresses? If they're really cute, I don't mind paying a little more for them. I'm usually an American Eagle girl- have been for years... but I've been sorely disappointed by their selection for the past few seasons. Ugh. Occasionally I'll get something from A&F, Guess, Express, or some random specialty store. I tried looking Sunday evening and failed miserably (I hate the mall and bitchy, annoying sales people! But with my body type I have to try stuff on!) Please help me, ladies! My biker jeans and t-shirt attire just isn't cutting it anymore

isnt there some place like platos closet or something?[Edited on June 26, 2007 at 7:28 PM. Reason : maybe banana republic? is that what i mean?]
6/26/2007 7:28:13 PM
Target actually has some surprisingly cute summer dresses and they keep coming out with new styles.
6/26/2007 7:28:36 PM
^^DNL- Plato's closet is a consignment shop that has a bunch of junk... but sometimes if you stay long enough you can find something worthwhile.Banana Republic is a possibility-- I like JCrew better... but I haven't checked out either. So, although I don't think you really knew what you were suggesting... thanks. ^Target stuff never seems to fit very well, but I'll give them another try. Thanks.
6/26/2007 7:32:20 PM

Banana Republic has a ton of cute summer dresses on serious sale right now - I got 2 for $100. Their jersey dresses are sooooo comfortable, and you can dress them up with heels and dress them down with rainbows. I'm going back to get another one.
6/27/2007 7:36:18 AM
Thanks! I'm planning on going during my lunch break.

well, paerabol looks like he belongs in Creed, so I'm pretty sure even the shallowest broads in here wouldn't let you take them out to lunch, k.
6/28/2007 8:06:10 AM
I was going to say something to that effect but you said it so much better.
6/28/2007 8:38:51 AM
I need to start getting some casual business clothes (going into education, so it doesn't have to be super dressy). Where's a good place to look for women's suiting? I'd especially like to know somewhere that sells wide leg dress pants 'cause I've got fat thighs and most of the ones I've tried on already hug them.
6/30/2007 12:06:05 PM
I got great wide-leg dress pants at The Limited (in Cary Towne Center - the one at Crabtree is being renovated) - Cassidy fit. Get the ones that go with the Traveler suit - they come in lots of colors, and even though they're more expensive, they can be washed instead of drycleaned, and they don't wrinkle. Ann Taylor Loft has some too
6/30/2007 12:20:14 PM
oooh, creed, burrrrn. you shore got me girlfriend[Edited on June 30, 2007 at 3:14 PM. Reason : besides, I'm not sure looks or being shallow are what you want to be arguing here]
6/30/2007 3:05:18 PM
so I bought a dress today at belk but I'm not sure if its appropriate to wear to a day time wedding (then going straight to the reception)it's ivory/black...it has black/gray flowers on the bottom about half of the bottom of the dress, a black belt, and black straps..everything else is ivory
6/30/2007 6:43:14 PM
Pictures would probably help
6/30/2007 8:19:19 PM
here are the picturesit's not that white..it only looks that way because of the flash but it's an ivory color so it has yellow in it[Edited on June 30, 2007 at 9:05 PM. Reason : s]
6/30/2007 8:47:50 PM
I think it's appropriate for daytime, definitely - it's not all white so you won't upstage the bride
6/30/2007 9:07:07 PM
yea it fits really well..I do have a little bit of alterations on it (the straps are too long so the front is too big and the back but i had the alterations person pin it so I can take it somewhere).
6/30/2007 9:16:21 PM
haha paerabol thinks he's witty. I'm not the one who thinks shore=sure. But keep looking like an idiot. It's fun!
6/30/2007 9:19:32 PM
again, looking like an idiot is not something I'd call attention to, but keep trying. it's fun!anyway you're really helping drive my point home
6/30/2007 9:34:46 PM
How you figure, pissant?
6/30/2007 9:42:00 PM
i also bought this as a fall back
6/30/2007 9:42:09 PM
You want to look like a hobo at a wedding?
6/30/2007 9:43:04 PM
why would you consider that dress looking like a hobo?
6/30/2007 9:51:40 PM
HAHAHAH PISSANTNICEgo eat another cheeseburger
