yeah, $4.5M guaranteed for 8 games for a starting QB isn't that expensive
11/11/2021 1:46:44 PM
Yeah, that's true, I guess I was thinking of his original signing with the Pats as an indicator but this is actually less than his newer one was
11/11/2021 2:12:00 PM
I think it’s a 4-way tie between Cam, Tepper, Rhule, and Brady for who needed this the most
11/11/2021 2:52:01 PM
!!!
11/14/2021 4:14:14 PM
this is already one of the greatest games in the history of the franchisejust incredible
11/14/2021 4:27:20 PM
Football is fun again!
11/14/2021 5:01:22 PM
McCaffrey finished the game with 8 fewer yards than the entire Arizona offense (161 vs 169)
11/14/2021 7:26:44 PM
1.5 Games out of Division lead
11/15/2021 8:10:02 AM
14-14 at half fyi
11/21/2021 2:31:18 PM
Cam running to midfield and doing the Superman celebration was cool. I’m sure all the asshole fans hated it.
11/21/2021 2:47:58 PM
I expect the Panthers to have a 7 point lead late, for Heinicke to lead Washington on a late game TD drive to tie the game, and Joey Slye to miss the XP to give the Panthers the win
11/21/2021 3:30:57 PM
Defense just couldn’t get off the field today
11/21/2021 3:50:17 PM
Too many penalties and defense was abused by WFT RBs for a lot of the game.
11/21/2021 3:54:01 PM
Yeah, Cam wasn't great on those final couple plays but he had a pretty good game. So many costly penalties, and the inability to stop Washington on 3rd (and 4th) downs. Tough L.
11/21/2021 4:10:43 PM
Increasingly confident that Joe Brady isn’t actually some offensive savant.
11/21/2021 4:11:22 PM
Rhule isn’t a good coachHeinecke has a very punchable faceJoe Brady isn’t a golden godOur defense failed us today
11/21/2021 5:19:57 PM
The Cam signing will only by you goodwill for so long. Haven't won at home since Week 2 and losing to a pretty bad WFT is not going to help. The Rhule out calls will only grow louder.
11/22/2021 8:56:07 AM
Cam's struggling today. Maybe his lisfranc injury is back.
11/28/2021 2:01:47 PM
we might need some defensive touchdowns this game
11/28/2021 2:13:44 PM
CMC out for the season
11/29/2021 3:49:48 PM
Can we fire Ruhle yet
11/29/2021 4:11:45 PM
Joe Brady will be axed for sureTepper is a Pittsburgh guy so they are pretty loyal to their coaches. That said Rhule really seems out of his depth. I just don't know what coach they could get, this is a 3-4 year rebuild at best. Your still paying Bridgewater, you will probably be paying Darnold to play somewhere else. Their are no QBs really worth taking high in this draft, and honestly the first 3-4 picks should be on the the line on both sides of ball but focusing on offense first.
11/30/2021 8:12:45 AM
Brady fired.
12/5/2021 1:37:57 PM
12/5/2021 3:53:00 PM
Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma are very bad at math
12/12/2021 3:46:41 PM
Hey the Panthers are Number 1 in somethingAccording to CBS SportsWorst Win Pct since 2018Panthers .143Raiders/Jaguars .250Lions .2673 Teams tied .313So obviously this means we will go on a win streak to screw up our draft position again
12/14/2021 12:47:42 PM
without looking into the numbers, that doesn’t sound right at all
12/14/2021 1:00:09 PM
The stat should be worst December win %….
12/14/2021 1:27:14 PM
12/14/2021 2:32:31 PM
Team sucks. Coaches suck. Fire this staff please. Asking fans to watch another season with this staff, that has shown no vision or progress whatsoever, is pretty ballsy.
12/19/2021 4:00:41 PM
nice late Bills TD got me $50. was a little worried, but this team find ways to get their asses beat
12/20/2021 8:36:53 AM
Still sucking ass in the red zone.
12/26/2021 1:56:06 PM
Wow
12/26/2021 2:16:40 PM
would’ve been nice for him to have put Cam in for one last play at the end of the gamefucking turd
12/26/2021 4:14:08 PM
12/28/2021 3:12:18 PM
Fire these bums. No progress whatsoever. No plan whatsoever. I would say burn it down and start over. But it’s already a smoldering mess. So just fire them already.
1/2/2022 7:55:59 PM
year 3 was when he really turned it around at Temple and Baylor. so might as well give him one more year.
1/2/2022 9:03:56 PM
I think it's goofy to fire him now. Perpetually hiring and firing guys before they have any chance to make something work is how you get stuck in a mire like the Browns did until a few years ago. You either give them enough time to get their system in or make the next guy's job harder and pray for a miracle which gets more and more distant each time. While I'm not optimistic about next season I have a hard time blaming *all* of this on Rhule.
1/3/2022 8:22:30 AM
is this our first time wearing the black jersey/white pants combo?
1/9/2022 4:45:03 PM
Glad we waited till meaningless week 18 to open up the playbook and get creative and aggressive!^^ I agree with you in theory. But man. This team has shown such little progress. It’s hard to see them magically turning a corner next year. Part of that can be blamed on things out of Ruhle’s control. But they just look so inept for so much of the season it’s hard for me to have confidence in Ruhle. [Edited on January 9, 2022 at 5:24 PM. Reason : A]

Whats qb situation? I mean clearly newton is gone…is darnold gonna be let go or have some other less than mediocre qb come in and compete?
1/9/2022 8:51:48 PM
They aren't gonna cut darnold, he costs too much and Rhule has tied himself to him. Gonna laugh when they draft Sam Howell though.
1/10/2022 9:17:32 AM
I'd say keep Darnold and invest in o line. Then if he still sucks we at least get a better draft pick out of it. There's a good amount of top o line talent so ideally for me, trade back 5-ish spots and hopefully pick up an early round pick from a qb-needy team to help replace the 2nd and 3rd rounders used for CJ Henderson and Sam Darnold. Use 2nd and 4th for a second lineman and a QB for next year and then on an as-needed basis the rest of the way^^^ I agree it's hard to be encouraged about next year, but we'll see. It should be obvious if there's signs of progress or not and then we can decide. Hell, it may even be obvious after the draft.^^^^ second time this season & all time - https://twitter.com/PanthersUnis/status/1480272018960494593[Edited on January 10, 2022 at 9:24 AM. def need OL help no matter who the QB is. Darnold has had injuries and has been on really shitty teams. But it kinda feels like we all know at this point that he’s not a QB1 solution for any NFL team.
1/10/2022 9:40:15 AM
If keep Darnold, I’d say keep rhule, and then throw the bums out after next year
1/10/2022 9:46:51 AM
Listening to WFNZ this morning and they were discussing potential OC options. I think bringing in some fresh perspectives from OC and DC that aren't tied to Rhule's past like Snow would definitely be a positive. I could see Panther's trading back a few spots to pick up a 2nd round pick back, but if they don't come out of this draft with an immediate OL starter fans are going to be big mad.
1/10/2022 11:02:10 AM
Feels like we’ve been begging for OL help for like 8 years now.
1/10/2022 11:05:33 AM
They've had some good Guard/Center play over the past few years, but they haven't had a consistent Left Tackle since Jordan Gross. It really has to be a priority this offseason.
1/10/2022 11:39:06 AM
PJ Walker coming back one more year
1/10/2022 1:07:21 PM
Panthers should fire Rhule and hire Flores immediately. They won't but they should.
