Cook or Bell for the rest of the season?
11/8/2018 9:15:52 PM
Do you have to make that decision? Bell may not even come back, or could come back completely out of shape, or may get benched or split carries.
11/8/2018 9:18:33 PM
Yeah. He's in Pittsburg tho and looks like he may play next week. Split time is def a concern. Being out of shape isn't as much for me.[Edited on November 8, 2018 at 9:29 PM. Reason : Really just reaching to piss off the guy who dropped him in mah league ]
11/8/2018 9:28:43 PM
If I was the Steelers, I would run him into the ground and save carries on Conner, assuming he's in shape and not a detriment to the offense. Bell being out of shape and being less effective than Conner would be the only reason not to.
11/9/2018 10:22:12 PM
Are you seeing ab him being out of shape?[Edited on November 9, 2018 at 10:24 PM. Reason : ]
11/9/2018 10:23:45 PM
He showed up out of shape last year, so I'm just assuming he might do the same this year. We won't know for sure until he shows up.
11/9/2018 10:26:36 PM
I would go cook, easily. At best Bell is going to be in a timeshare. The Steelers aren't going to piss off the guy who's been playing great (better than Bell last year) and is actually going to be there next year.
11/9/2018 10:57:21 PM
I think they will realize they have a good shot at the super bowl with him back in top season form in the playoffs.
11/10/2018 3:07:54 AM
Conner is on pace for over 400 touches this season at the rate he's going. That doesn't bode well for his health next season, unless they can slow down his use. If Bell can match Conner's production, it doesn't make sense to run your long-term solution at RB into the ground this year.
11/10/2018 3:18:33 AM
Which is why I think they'll be in a timeshare. And why I think Cook > Bell. Plus Bell hasn't played a down of football in a long time.
11/10/2018 8:47:24 AM
I just don't understand leagues with so little bench space that this has to he a decision. Is it an 8 team league with one flex spot and no bench? What is he holding onto that is more valuable down the stretch than these two?
11/10/2018 9:24:04 AM
^ 10 teams, 4 bench spots, and as I posted on the last page I've been annoyed by Cook eating up one of those bench spots all season so I guess I looked at him first to get rid of, and also because it was a potential RB for RB swap. Only reason Bell is available is bc someone dropped him one week too early...and he's gone now so it doesnt matter. Other guys I could have dropped are Mack or D Thomas.[Edited on November 10, 2018 at 11:47 AM. Reason : ]
11/10/2018 11:44:18 AM
I think I would drop Thomas over Cook for Bell, especially with an injury prone Mack as a backup RB. Not that it matters now though.
11/10/2018 1:16:13 PM
Yeah I would have dropped Thomas in a heartbeat over Cook.
11/10/2018 1:40:42 PM
For Bell tho? As eleusis is point out, seems like a risky play.
11/10/2018 7:23:21 PM
Yeah, for Bell. Hell I've been *this* close to dropping Thomas in a 10 team league and most definitely not for a former all-pro.
11/10/2018 7:32:12 PM
In a 10 team 2 wr 1 flex league, thomas has been borderline droppable all season. Houston may prove to be an upgrade down the stretch, but he doesn't have the same skillset as Will Fuller to assume he could he upgraded to that level of production. The trade could potentially downgrade him too - last week he got 3 targets in the first quarter and didn't see another look after that.Good RBs are so valuable this year, I'd rather take my chances streaming WRs to have a stable of RBs on my bench.
11/10/2018 9:25:45 PM
Looks like Bell isn't gonna play anyway so it's good I didn't jump on it.
11/10/2018 9:54:41 PM
I don't believe the "insider scoop" stories about him not reporting this year. The league does not want Bell coming out of this looking any part of the good guy, so I think we're being bombarded with made up stories about him. We'll see on Tuesday.Houston gave up the same round of compensatory pick they will get if he left in free agency at the end of the year. They practically gave up nothing for him other than cap space.[Edited on November 10, 2018 at 11:16 PM. Reason : Compensatory draft picks.]
11/10/2018 11:12:14 PM
How does that work again? I read a 4th round pick and they traded 7th round picks.[Edited on November 10, 2018 at 11:22 PM. Reason : ^ Adam Schefter seems to be pretty reliable.]
11/10/2018 11:21:47 PM
Yeah, Thomas probably won't net a 3rd if he leaves as a free agent. Also, I'm not really sure about Houston's cap space, but getting compensatory picks requires kind of sitting out free agency.
11/10/2018 11:50:16 PM
what kind of mongoloid league are you in where someone drops Bell in the first place
11/11/2018 1:27:52 AM
I suspect many will be following his lead in a few days.
11/11/2018 1:53:16 AM
maybe, maybe not. but that has nothing to do with dropping a top 5 pick who isn't injured or suspended. mongoloid league.]
11/11/2018 2:57:13 AM
Schefter was pushing the bullshit story about Bell reporting week 7 so that he could get paid for the bye week. The only reason that story got pushed was to make Bell look bad.
11/11/2018 8:24:16 AM
I sure picked a great week to drop Allen Robinson
11/11/2018 7:06:12 PM
40 point lead going into last night with my kicker still to go vs obj and ertz...then ertz happened. fml
11/12/2018 7:29:27 AM
Anybody heard from Le'Veon Bell today?
11/13/2018 3:37:23 PM
you figure you made the right call when Mahomes has more 1st half points than Rodgers had in his entire game
11/19/2018 9:54:49 PM
Pick 1Watson (v Ten)Cousins (v GB)Winston (v SF)Mayfield (@ Cin)

and rest of season: Howard or Cohenhttps://www.faketeams.com/2018/10/18/17994316/fantasy-football-jordan-howard-tarik-cohen-chicago-bears[Edited on November 21, 2018 at 1:06 PM. Reason : ]
11/21/2018 1:05:04 PM
howard will consistently get you 10-14 points, whereas cohen could be anywhere from 6-25. If you can survive the volatility, I'd go cohen (and I am, btw).
11/21/2018 1:09:32 PM
Cousins lit up green bay in September for 4tds, so it's hard for me not to start him.
11/22/2018 3:16:38 PM
T.Y Hilton or Sony Michel? Leaning towards the former, especially with Brady questionable.New England (@NYJ) or Buffalo (v Jax)? I know NYJ's receivers are banged up, but I usually like my defense to play at home when possible.
11/23/2018 3:37:22 PM
11/23/2018 5:17:18 PM
^ it's not. still sticking with Cohen tho

Pick oneGB (v ARI)KC (@OAK)TEN (v NYJ)IND (@ JAX)PHI (v WAS)Thinking about Indy with Fournette suspended and Cody Kessler under center. KC also up there for me. The Cardinals don't score much so that's a great option too.]
11/28/2018 2:27:40 PM
Plz guys I have a match tonight
11/28/2018 10:50:16 PM
I'm rolling with Indy this week, but I also don't have as many of the available options as you. i think i would lean GB if i was you. speaking of Fournette being out...who should i start in his place, 0.5 PPR Brieda (@SEA) or Lamar Miller (v CLE)? after seeing CMC last week vs SEA, Brieda seems like a tempting option...but SEA is at home and obviously the Panthers offense is >>> SF. Miller has had a couple big games in a row too. My other starter is Dalvin Cook (@NE), and i feel like i should roll with him regardless of opponent...but maybe Brieda and Cook are the best two this week. thoughts?[Edited on November 29, 2018 at 6:52 AM. Wait to see if Breeland or King are back for GB this week. I know Arizona isn't a good O, but GB's D is absolutely obliterated with injuries(multiple DL, OLB, both starting CBs potentially). I have the Packers rostered right now waiting to see if King/Breeland play. Back-up option is going to be the Colts, simply because the Jags with Kessler and no Fournette should make things a little easier, esp if Ramsey misses the game and the Colts can get an early lead.
11/29/2018 8:27:17 AM
Breida over Miller every single day. Regardless of matchup. As long as he's healthy he is much more consistent than Miller.]
11/29/2018 11:28:31 AM
agreed on BreidaStart 4Ingram vs DALBreida vs SEAK. Allen vs PITB. Cooks vs LAREdelman vs MIN
11/29/2018 12:00:32 PM
I guess it's Spencer ware time
11/30/2018 3:29:17 PM
Nah, he'll be fine. He stands for the national anthem.
11/30/2018 3:48:29 PM
Ray Rice was an upstanding player until video surfaced.
11/30/2018 4:39:25 PM
I watched this video. TBH it's nowhere near the level of the Ray Rice one, and I can see why no charges ended up being filed. The kick at the end is the only real shitheel move, everything else is a real grey area. The NFL should have suspended him to start the season, now they are gonna look worse no matter what they do.]
11/30/2018 4:50:45 PM
I only watched once, but didn't the kick barely tap her? And the part where she fell he really threw a dude who happened to run into her.. Not that that's not also bad.
11/30/2018 5:45:02 PM
The kick was more of an insult tap than a kick, but it was the worst part of the video.Having 19 year olds at your hotel party sounds like a horrible idea. If this was Raleigh, the cops would like try to charge someone with underage drinking before investigating the fight.
11/30/2018 8:38:53 PM
Lol they released him.. Seems kinda dumb but.. What do I know
11/30/2018 9:18:25 PM
lolol I havent watched the video yet but eleusis is killing me with this "insult tap" shit
