Lmao me and Wolfey were really the only ones that even mentioned that team

Also, Pool fans, root for PAOK vs Benfica next week (currently 1-1). If PAOK wins, Pool is in Pot 2 for groups.

I love fans and media pointing out how much favorite team has been fucking up lately. I'm not mad, it is funny to me.

Not really. The desperation and schadenfreude over a United failure is actually quiet hilarious. One match in August and the media is trying to push this narrative so much. Fans are fickle in nature so I am not surprised at their reaction. I know I would be enjoying it if it were pool but the simple truth is pool hasn't been relevant for a while now and don't have the same pressure to succeed. I would like to say they do now but that simply isn't true. If United had spent the kind of money pool have this season then a title win is a minimum. Shit there have been zero trophies delivered over the last three years but hardly any mention of that. United lose one match and its as if the sky is falling and the team is going through the levels of Dante's hell.

When are you (wazza) going to acknowledge that we don't really care if Man U fails, we are all just irritated by you constantly professing the same fucking argument over and over again that no one gives two flying shits about?

I see Rafa channeled his inner Mourinho yesterday and parked the bus for a home game.

Soft penalty, but makeup call when Yedlin fouled Giroud and setup the equalizer. Happy with the 3 points but worrisome that it took a soft penalty call to get the first real chance 15 minutes from time. I could see a lot of teams deploying similar tactics against Chelsea. Especially the bottom half of the table teams.

Does Lloris play tonight after his DUI? Will be interested to see the result of this match.

lucky two goals for Spurs after 45 min of domination and positive intent from United. All anyone is going to talk about though is Jose losing the plot despite Lukaku missing sitters. Can't wait for the hilarious overreactions.

Can't decide here, I'll give a few vote for your favorite in the comments section

1. Oh so now luck exists I guess

2. Great two goals for Spurs after underwhelming first half and lucky play from United. Jose losing the plot. Lukaku, his hand picked 90mil striker, out here missing sitters. Can't wait for the analysis.

3. Looks like Pool, Chelsea and Spurs starting the season well against mid table competition. Will be nice to see one of them play a top team.

Love the nice dig at 90 million striker. Following the typical trend of over inflating United's costs. So how much have we paid for Alexis now? 400 million? Meanwhile pool got Alison for 10 million right? lmao.

Since Jose has took over at United we have the best record against the top 6....

I don't recall for sure but i think it was around 10mil per goal.

well you would be right if he had performance clauses but he doesn't. Wayne Rooney went the other way on a "free" and was valued at 15-25 million. 90 million was never true, it included Rooney's valuation. Tell me more about alternative facts though. #fakenews

On a more serious note: I look forward to seeing how this one is put on Mou. He had the right tactic, was encouraging his players and even applauded the fans after the match. United as an organization have absolutely failed him and Ed Woodward is the one that should be walking. Absolute shambles to hire a man like Mou and then not back him in the transfer market. There is no cohesive plan and its clear football men are not leading the charge at United anymore behind the scenes. Never going to be consistent or win a title without cleaning the office. Woodward should take a back seat and focus on sponsorships and let a DOF handle the football.

Never a valid criticism for golden boy pep? Pep only delivers titles on the back of hundreds of millions too. City already had a better squad than ours and still have outspent us.

Giving too much credit to Mou's tactics for a "good" first half. Most every chance was from distance except Lukaku's sitter and that only came from an unforced error. Don't think the 3 CBs with wingbacks had any sort of influence on the first half... not to mention, Herrera fucked up so many times at CB. Surely Mou gets some blame for that? That doesn't even get into how Pogba is completely neutered in this setup. And it's completely Mourinho's fault that 3 years into his United job, his Plan B is to bring on Fellaini and play long balls and crosses into him/Lukaku.

Spurs were very poor in the first half and I thought United played ok but certainly not like a top team at home against a team playing poorly. They were competent and had a few chances, not exactly dominant. Then again, even Spurs had a few chances against the run of play too and probably should have scored if Dele had been more clinical.

I think Matic will be a big difference maker when he's back regularly, just like he did last year but that defense is a fucking shambles right now. Yes, they didn't back Mourinho this summer for a new CB but he also spent $30M (don't yell at me if the price is slightly off) on Lindelof.

I never said it was brilliant. It was right and yes we dominated for 45 min. Spurs had chances yes but nowhere near as good as ours. I like how you discount United's chances as long shots but are quick to say Spurs should have definitely scored in the first half. Criticize the man for playing defensive and then criticize him again for playing too attacking. I see the common theme, you will criticize him even if he saved the world from extinction.

Pogba nuetered? This is getting ridiculous. Tell me how freeing him up to play an attacking role with Fred and matic in support is neutering him? He got to play in his preferred position today. Player power in modern football is a shame. Pogba can sit on the bench for all I care. He isn't going anywhere for less than 300 million and the fact that you buy into this nonsense that Pogba is nuetered just goes to show how bad player powwe and media influence has gotten in football. Give me Herrera and his heart over Pogba voicing his dirty laundry through his agent.

You spent 35 million on Andy Carrol and benteke each. I guess only United get transfers wrong. 30 million down the drain seeing as how Lindelof was clearly out of his depth last week and tonight. I see why Mou wanted another center half now. It was pathetic. Smalling and Bailly need to be playing together and need to stay fit if we are going to finish top 4. Jones is serviceable. The rest can look for other clubs. I am not defending Mourinho because he has faults but it's hilarious to me how much people hate his guts. So much so that they are happy to pile on the BS overreactions on to him even when he does everything right. Must have struck a few nerves eh.

Was hoping for group D but I think our group isn't too bad. Obviously PSG is trouble but I think we can handle Napoli. Wish we had someone closer than Belgrade 4th but at least it's not turkey.

And lol Spurs
