Marshall's qb went pro. Def shoulnt lose that one
1/18/2018 7:37:04 PM
What is DD's record in away games?
1/18/2018 7:39:30 PM
Idk he’s beaten BC, Cuse, Wake, UNC all on the road. Unsure of total record though.
1/18/2018 7:41:34 PM
We should be 14-0 heading into the Bama game...
1/18/2018 7:45:04 PM
^FSU too[Edited on January 18, 2018 at 7:46 PM. Reason : have whatever the last person to post was blocked so no idea if they said the record.]
1/18/2018 7:46:04 PM
Somebody tell me why WVU is top 10 (way too early polls or whatever). They were 7-6 this year.
1/18/2018 7:48:17 PM
They had a bad record becahse their very good starting qb (who returns) went out with injury. Top 10 is a stretch. But top 25 for sure.
1/18/2018 7:50:04 PM
they return an amazing wr david sillswe bring back a lot but lost 28 of our 35 rushing tds
1/18/2018 7:57:15 PM
Will Grier will prolly be the best QB we face next season.
1/18/2018 9:56:53 PM
The poll I looked at (only felt like looking at 1) didnt have them in the top 25, fwiw
1/19/2018 8:51:25 AM
^^He'll be the most experienced for sure, but I think Lawrence will be full-speed by the time we play them and will be the best QB we face.
1/19/2018 9:40:03 AM
Fuck Lawrence. He could be the best QB in ACC history or a fucking bust. I know he's athletic, but I'd rather have him back there than Bryant scrambling for 12 yards on 3rd and 9. Fuck mobile QBs...they've killed us at Clemson.
1/19/2018 11:49:15 AM
I don't see why you assume Lawrence is going to win the Clemson QB job. Hunter Johnson was the #2 QB in his class and has been enrolled at Clemson for a year already. ]
1/19/2018 1:03:26 PM
Yeah I don’t see Lawrence being the guy for Clemson next year. Dabo seems to prefer to play upper class men. He was reluctant to play Watson early in his career. Didn’t give Hunter Johnson much PT this year when Kelly Bryant was hurt either. [Edited on January 19, 2018 at 2:04 PM. Reason : A]
1/19/2018 2:03:57 PM
I don't remember if he started game 1, but Watson def started as a true freshman
1/19/2018 3:02:25 PM
stoudt began the season as the starter to much of the fans' dismay iirc. watson later took over but got hurt so didn't play a full season in his freshman year. stoudt wasn't very good.
1/19/2018 5:47:58 PM
Lou DC left for Cal
1/19/2018 6:05:19 PM
Aren’t we losing our entire defense? How’d we do after Mario Williams and all those guys left?
1/19/2018 9:53:57 PM
lol we are losing a mediocre defense. the mario defense was ranked #1 in the country for much of the season.
1/19/2018 11:45:56 PM
1/19/2018 11:52:21 PM
Don’t compare last year’s D to Mario williams defense lol.
1/20/2018 7:00:38 AM
Tony Adams and Kentavius Street will be playing in the East-West Shrine Game at 3pm on NFL Network
1/20/2018 2:32:27 PM
Street has been getting rave reviews apparently.
1/20/2018 4:58:36 PM
If Street can get an invite to the combine, he's going to make a lot of money.Apparently some think Street should slide inside and bulk up a bit and play mainly DT. I remember when we tried that and he wasn't very good inside. Personally think he should end be a 3-4 DE.
1/22/2018 9:26:30 AM
^Yep, 3-4 DE would be perfect for him. And agreed about him getting in the combine. He'd sky-rocket up draft boards.I found this article on Street from last summer where it talks about him running 4.5 40 and bench 475. Says he's also the most flexible football player on NC State.
1/22/2018 11:36:03 AM
1/22/2018 12:36:54 PM
^no that was a different year. Cole Stoudt was the other QB that year with DeShaun Watson. Stoudt started the year. Watson took over later but had injuries that held him out.
1/22/2018 12:50:31 PM
1/22/2018 2:29:26 PM
I think most Clemson fans expect Johnson or Lawrence to win the job, could see KB with some special packages to run. I think the idea is, Lawrence is the #1 player in the class, he should be ready to start week 1, but if not, he could be a candidate to redshirt. One problem is, if Lawrence wins that job as a true FR, Johnson(former 5* QB) is almost assured to transfer. I could see Dabo sticking with KB to start the season since he's the veteran(like he did with Stoudt a few years ago and what Bama just did with Hurts).
1/22/2018 4:00:20 PM
Fans are stupid and also Clemson already has a top rated QB who's been in the program for a year already, even if we aren't going to mention the returning starter who played well enough in his first year.
1/22/2018 4:02:12 PM
From a diehard clemson buddy:
1/22/2018 5:55:24 PM
Will the spring game be streamed online anywhere?
3/28/2018 11:54:21 AM
WVU just had a starting LB tear his ACL and a fresh AA DT is transferring
3/29/2018 4:48:03 PM
Now state’s in business
3/29/2018 5:55:58 PM
I don't really know where to put this but Street apparently just had a bad knee injury
4/3/2018 9:07:19 PM
That really sucks. He'd been making himself some money leading up to the draft.
4/3/2018 9:41:08 PM
http://www.espn.com/college-football/statistics/teamratings/_/tab/fpiESPN FPI has us predicted to finish 43rd nationally, with 6.8 W's and 5.3 L's, good for 10th in the ACC
4/4/2018 4:58:20 PM
fuck fpi
4/4/2018 5:08:03 PM
Yeaahhh I don't see how any of Duke, Louisville, BC, or wake would be "better" than us..We're gonna win 11 games
4/4/2018 7:33:33 PM
National championship or bust
4/4/2018 8:22:43 PM
^^^^^,^^^^^^ Street tore his ACL
4/5/2018 1:44:43 AM
Playoffs or BUST
4/5/2018 7:03:39 AM
I don't understand the hype around UL at all, but their fans seem to really be optimistic about next year. BC and Duke I kind of understand the hype around, they return a lot of young stars and have solid coaches. Wake is a huge question mark. They have a good D and some really nice WRs, but I think people are downplaying how good their QB was last year. I know they bring in a RS-SR to start that has experience, but the limited action I've seen him he's a below-average passer and good runner, not really sure he'll be able to utilize those great WRs.
4/5/2018 9:14:13 AM
on the topic of UL...i know a lotta people throw them in the mix when talking about how tough our division is. but without an elite QB (Bridgewater, Lamar Jackson) i'm not convinced they'll be some monster we have to deal with each year. not that they'll be a pushover, either...i just see them closer to our equal in the division than them being way better than us each year.
4/5/2018 12:26:04 PM
As long as Petrino is there, they'll be one of the most dangerous teams in the division.
4/5/2018 1:05:15 PM
they're not gonna be bad at all, and certainly have the potential to be very good...i'm just saying that i think people got a little carried away during the 2016 season with just how good UL is gonna be year in and year out. they just had the heisman QB and went 4-4 in the ACC. they're a good program...i just think they'll be closer to our equal in the division than on the level of FSU and Clemson year in and year out.
4/5/2018 1:27:56 PM
UL will be interesting. They changed their offense a TON for Lamar, and apparently the guy behind him fits what Petrino likes to do, so I imagine it'll go back to his old system. Sounds like the new QB isn't Superman like Lamar but he's a good passer. Will be interesting to see if having a more traditional pocket passer will make that OL and those WR's look better.
4/5/2018 2:03:54 PM
I'm not sure how losing a qb that can evade rushers, hit receivers on a dime 50 yds downfield and requires a spy every play would make OL and WR look BETTER
4/5/2018 4:00:29 PM
Their OL was incredible garbage last year. I have no clue what they lose or have coming back...but behind that OL their only hope was a mobile QB. They had a heisman winning balling video game QB and still only managed 4-4 in the conference. [Edited on April 5, 2018 at 4:48 PM. Reason : A]
