C'mon, it's not just MMQBing here. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to see them jacking up the first few lazy shots/making retarded passes and playing no D to see that a timeout needs to happen to shake the cobwebs out. I know damn sure after a couple of dumbass shots I was screaming at the TV "WTF is going on?".

Some of the shots were pretty good actually, they just didnt go down. But when you go on a slump of missed shots combined with turnovers, people love to group them all together

I'd call a timeout every single time we missed two shots in a row, or turned it over twice in the course of one and a half minutes. I wouldn't even care if we were out of timeouts, I'd call them anyways!!!

We better play better than that against UNC. VT really helped us by bricking the open shots and suffering an injury earlier in the day. Once again we didn't look good on defense and had 17 turnovers.

Agreed! We really played like shit against VT. We really have to step up our game if we wanna beat UNC. We better shoot >70% FGs if we wanna have a chance against UNC. In general we suck, amirte? We need at least 3 dudes to have triple doubles if we wanna beat UNC.

UNC started the season hot, but now appear to be regressing slightly. I mean, they lost to Georgia Tech by double digits who got beat by Duke by 50+ LOL. This NC State team best players are two freshmen, and will get stronger as the season progress. Yurt 7 still hasn't had a break out game in terms of offense, and DSJ is a passionate State fan. I hope that Yurt 7 and DSJ send the lambs to the slaughterhouse!

Meh, this seems to be the year of the home team. This is the ideal time to be playing UNC as they've really struggled the last 2 games against inferior opponents.

If we play the game I think we can keep it close, and I actually hope we go ahead and play because I want to play them now while they're still relying on Berry to hit 5+ 3's each game to win.

pretty sure i saw (and somebody with a kenpom subscription can correct me) that this game was our best defensive efficiency of the season.

we also only had 4 first half turnovers...then the game was basically over. yes, we got sloppy. they pressed basically the entire game and that'll cause some turnovers. we also had a fuckton of possessions, so i'd be interested to see that turnover stat on a per possession basis.

we got sloppy for sure and didn't play a perfect game. but we played really fucking well.
