Bambard seemed to kinda be turning a corner this past year...and then the Clemson game may have shook his confidence beyond repair. small sample size, but to start the season Bambard was 4/5 with his only miss coming in the hurricane game vs ND and includes making a 48 yarder vs Wake. seems like you have to be at least decent to make a 48 yarder. but it seems like that Clemson game may have just rocked his confidence too much and been the nail in his coffin.

It's 67.7%. I know you just used the same number twice accidentally, just wanted to clean it up
3/30/2017 5:58:52 PM
^^nah, he was just regressing to the mean.Bambard is what he is, and that is not a good kicker. Got dem #bubbleguts]
3/30/2017 7:34:52 PM
^^yeah you're right...thanks.^nah, i disagree. making a 48 yard FG and 38 yarder in a hurricane, to me, shows some real talent. not saying he's a HOF kicker. i just think it's far likelier that he's a decent kicker with shitty confidence and not a shitty kicker that lucked into making some difficult kicks. but it really doesn't matter, i guess.
3/30/2017 7:40:38 PM
^ shitty kicker who lucked into making difficult kicks seems far more likely to me
3/30/2017 8:21:14 PM
Bambard fucked up in the ECU game before Clemson too. Glad we have another possible option.
3/30/2017 8:33:58 PM
I'm not calling him a shitty kicker. He just obviously had performance anxiety. I don't think it's gonna get better. Maybe he should just eat a bunch of Xanax before every game.
3/30/2017 8:36:43 PM
^^that was connor haskins. bambard was 1/1 on FGs and 3/3 PATs vs ECU ^i think that's pretty much exactly what i said. confidence shaken beyond repair.

Either no one posts anymore or there is not much excitement for football next year. Apparently the spring game was today and I didn't see a word about it.
4/1/2017 9:53:44 PM
Bambard was the MVP. Hit like 5/5 and one was a 47 yarder into the wind.
4/1/2017 10:04:41 PM
also, it wasn't a game.i will be excited if finley grew an arm. otherwise our best weapon (harmon) will be criminally underused because old noodlearm can't get him the ball in a slight breeze.
4/2/2017 10:32:50 AM
finley is fine.
4/2/2017 10:35:04 AM
His given name is noodlearm.[Edited on April 2, 2017 at 10:59 AM. Reason : Noodlearm "Ryan" Finley]

I wish he could have found a position to play like 4 years ago. Hard to get on the field when you change positions like 10 times.Oh well, we'll always have the hurricane game. And the 82 yard touchdowns.]
4/11/2017 6:03:31 PM
yeah he had talent but DE was pretty loaded and he had several guys in front of him at TE too. oh well. good luck to him
4/12/2017 7:48:38 AM
Thad Moss transferring too
4/13/2017 1:38:59 PM
Shame, thought Moss had upside and got plenty of chances to shine as a FR. Perhaps the staff has expressed a desire to change up the offense a bit, but I can't imagine it being just PT as he was in line for even more reps than last year. Guess he didn't want to block as much.
4/13/2017 1:47:27 PM
Saw that this would be his sixth school in six years
4/13/2017 1:48:48 PM
lol here we go.
4/13/2017 1:59:17 PM
Fuuuuuuuck
4/13/2017 2:00:27 PM
What?
4/13/2017 2:22:00 PM
so whos going to start for us at TE?
4/13/2017 2:31:40 PM
4/13/2017 2:38:05 PM
Wait why'd he transfer ?!?
4/13/2017 2:42:14 PM
straight cash homie
4/13/2017 2:57:52 PM
Wow....I really thought he had better stats last year. 6 catches, 49 yards, 1 TD.
4/13/2017 3:39:29 PM
Any chance Pharoah stays?
4/13/2017 3:58:17 PM
doubtful.it would come as a huge surprise to me that these guys didn't know the other was transferring/thinking about transferring. i'm not saying they're best friends, but they're in the same position group so they spend plenty of time together.
4/13/2017 4:04:32 PM
Two TEs in two days. Moss.
4/14/2017 12:16:46 PM
Moss to LSU
4/23/2017 2:15:33 PM
Matt Canada got in Moss's ear. Fuck that guy.
4/23/2017 3:42:29 PM
Sitting out a year tho eh??
4/23/2017 4:38:50 PM
4/23/2017 4:53:42 PM
"Hold muh Beer."
4/23/2017 5:51:55 PM
Dave Doeren ABSOLUTELY looks like the kind of guy that would wear a jacket vest and adjustable mesh hat while drinking a wheat beer.
4/23/2017 7:14:58 PM
I was just gonna say, he WOULD be drinking blue moonAlso the Canada connection doesn't really fit right? He was already at Pitt when we were recruiting Moss
4/23/2017 7:19:26 PM
A jacket vest?
4/23/2017 8:09:37 PM
yeah the Canada thing doesn't exactly add up. part of Canada's pitch to him could've been "hey i know Doeren doesn't utilize the traditional TE spot as much as we do, you'll get more touches here" but Canada didn't recruit him at State so it's not quite the same thing.
4/24/2017 8:43:34 AM
I mean, Canada was here while we were still recruiting Moss for sure, but he was definitely fired before he committed. We spent months recruiting Moss and Canada was fired only about 20 days before Moss committed. I'm sure Moss knows Canadas offense and the two had probably spoken/met before.
4/24/2017 9:51:09 AM
You're right, for some reason I was thinking Canada had already been at LSU for a season BUT STILL
4/24/2017 10:42:19 AM
Saw some article on ESPN, think it's criminal that we're not even considered a top 3 QB factory based off data from the last fifteen years.
4/24/2017 3:01:24 PM
I mean, during NFL broadcasts over the last few years they've certainly given us a ton of credit for being a QB factory. I'm not sure we'll ever be "QBU", but we're probably the closest. I think if Glennon ends up being a solid starter it'll get more buzz. Also doesn't help with the whole Russell Wilson and Wisconsin deal muddying the waters. I still think McClendon has the tools to be a really good QB with NFL upside, it just depends on if he ever gets it together between the ears. He has the arm, legs, and stature to be a big-time QB, just has to learn not to force things and go through his reads.
4/24/2017 3:09:38 PM
#1 is USC because of Palmer and Cassel. C'mon, man!
4/24/2017 3:17:06 PM
I think any of those conversations should focus on coaching staffs noted universities, but as long as the focus on universities, we should def be in the conversation.Edit I think I found the article and the RW thing indeed fucked us bc it says minimum 4 picks, we only have 3 without him[Edited on April 24, 2017 at 3:25 PM. Reason : A]
4/24/2017 3:19:51 PM
^^ Don't forget the Sanchize man
4/24/2017 3:29:19 PM
Let's try out Michigan State if we are going to talk about quarterback U.
4/25/2017 1:25:42 AM
Current QBU for MSU? Kirk Cousins, Drew Stanton, and Brian Hoyervs.Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Mike Glennon, and Jacoby Brissett Yeah, that's not even remotely close. If you take Wilson out of our line-up it drops us down, but if you leave him in our roster, no way we aren't top 3 and I'd argue we're #1 with 3 starters(currently).
4/25/2017 8:48:37 AM
Connor Cook and also Nick Foles was there for a year.. Not that he really counts. Not anything like Russell here
