Of course people watch more movies at home than in theaters. They probably have since the advent of the VCR and cable TV. However, most people don't illegally view new releases at home. That's why your initial comment is just so fucking odd.

Why don't you want to watch somebody filming it in a theater?[Edited on January 20, 2020 at 12:53 PM. Reason : Maybe your version of 1917 was bad because someone sucks at filming movies in a theater]

1/20/2020 12:53:34 PM
Nah I will watch my favorite twitch streamer go watch someone filming a movie in a theater. AND I'LL PAY THEM, BECAUSE THAT'S GOOD CONTENT.
1/20/2020 12:56:34 PM
1917 was great, even with a dim light on.
1/21/2020 12:43:42 AM
I don't normally stroke frosh's cock, but it just came out. Who the fuck is watching this at home?
1/21/2020 3:38:36 AM
Nobody made you type that shit about stroking my cock. What a choice.

Not even sure what compels people to jump the gun and watch a newly released theatrical run via a cam. I've seen a few over the years, and unless they've somehow gotten much better, the ones I've seen have been awful. Either the angle was off slightly, every time someone got up the focus would change, people would get up and shuffle in front of the camera, etc. And the sound. The sound was the worst part of it. It's not worth the effort IMHO, to rush to see a cam.

dtownral's first post on this was a pretty decent troll post that produced very nicely.]
1/21/2020 10:18:28 AM
^^ the version online isnt a cam, it's a high bitrate HD version (my radarr settings reject cam versions). I added this film to radarr in august, why would I know the release date 5 months later?^eat my balls [Edited on January 21, 2020 at 12:10 PM. Reason : ^^]
1/21/2020 12:06:28 PM
^How is that even possible? I guess someone leaked a HD version out of the studio?
1/21/2020 12:16:29 PM
probably from russia or china i guess
1/21/2020 12:27:57 PM
Or maybe an awards screener

dtown traffics in only the finest illegal cinema. If you're going to not pay for something, why not steal the very best?]

The end of Little Women would have been better if Wayne and Garth had just showed up in the publishers office and said “Let’s do the mega happy ending!’

i was talking about 1917 with some friends this weekend and they mostly didn't like it, and when talking there seemed to be a common trend among us that really enjoyed it -- we all had played a lot of video games. the film feels very familiar to someone who has played a lot of video games, for example the start of the film from waking up to the scene in the map room where the context and mission is explained and they are given supplies they need feels exactly like something from a COD or Battlefield campaign
1/27/2020 9:48:44 AM
I enjoyed it. Only real complaint is halting the momentum of the film with the baby scene to needlessly show Schofield's humanity. First thought when I walked out was the he could have saved the first wave if he hadn't sung the nursery rhyme.
1/27/2020 4:18:31 PM
Seems like you should be more mad that he listened to that entire song when it was already light out.
1/27/2020 4:43:36 PM
Completely valid point
1/27/2020 5:41:13 PM
I did not particularly like 3rd bad boys movie. It was ok, but I liked 1st and 2nd more. Perhaps I need to view again
1/28/2020 10:55:59 PM
The Gentlemen was pretty goodthink it would’ve been better with someone other than McConaughey in that role, though
2/6/2020 4:19:19 PM
Just finished it myself, also thought was pretty good.

Really really liked “last flag flying”. Cranston killed it

Watched Midsommar and The Lodge over the past couple of nights and now I have two new entries in my top 10 least favorite movies list. Horrible
6/2/2020 2:50:09 PM
i tried to watch Midsommar once and fell asleep. Not surprising since I didn't like Hereditary.]
6/2/2020 10:07:03 PM
You have to have a penchant for that director's movies. I love the slow burn.
6/3/2020 8:05:19 AM
I liked midsommar but if you didnt I'm surprised you made it past the cliff scene
6/3/2020 9:24:38 AM
I'm a horror movie snob. Loved Hereditary. Midsommar was long and probably could have been cut down, but was ultimately enjoyable. One thing I didn't realize until I was reading into it more was that if you look in the background through the whole movie, you can see the main girls' sister/family's faces in the trees watching her.
6/3/2020 12:10:46 PM
The cliff scene wasn't what got me, it was the ending overall that I didn't like. Just not really my thing I guess.
6/3/2020 12:40:10 PM
Game Night had some funny parts
7/3/2020 10:33:50 PM
Middsommar is pretty great. To me it's about men historically ignoring women once they become a burden. Only this time we see how she feels. Albeit her burden is over the top but that's what makes it a movie! I hated Melancholia at first but it resonates with me all the time now.
7/5/2020 10:28:02 PM
Documentary Honeyland has a more devastating and complete story arc than most fiction movies
7/6/2020 12:51:00 PM
I gotta stop trying Malicks. A Hidden Life is pretty and with some interesting themes, but man cut an hour.
7/21/2020 9:51:28 PM
Finished up a 80's list.
7/27/2020 9:26:56 AM
^is that sentence understandable?Little Women was excellent, although I felt dumb constantly wondering which time period we were in. And I kinda don't get Chalamet or Pugh. Both are great actors but also a little off putting for reasons I can't pinpoint.
7/27/2020 9:49:31 AM
The Lighthouse is wild. A couple interesting parallels to the VVitch and some true lol moments. Both actors were great, the buried monologue in particular.
7/28/2020 9:12:55 AM
^I just watched that. Enjoyed it, done very well, but I wasn't expecting it to be so weird.Recently watched the recent A Star is Born, and thought it was very good. Everyone was amazing in it, and Cooper is actually a pretty good singer. It took us a little while to realize that Gaga's dad was Andrew Dice Clay! And Chapelle's appearance was icing on the cake. It was soooo much better than the Kristofferson/Streisand version.
