Enjoyed "Pretty Years" by Cymbals Eat Guitars. Lot of the songs have a 80's and 90's vibe. "LOSE" will still get more spins from me though.

Yeah the Cymbals album has a different feel but it's really listenable and got caught in my head quickly. New Bon Iver was a great soundtrack to my road trip this weekend.

New Oathbreaker slays too.


Still need to catch up on Neurosis, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, The Dear Hunter, Ghost, among others.

Yeah I got to see true widow twice this year. I didn't realize when I moved to Dallas that they were from here. For some reason I thought they were from Austin. It took me like a month of living here before I realized one of my bartenders at my local dive was in the band

I made it to Raleigh for less than 24 hours as part of my holiday friends and family tour 2016. Ran into Sam Herring (Future Islands) at Ruby Deluxe as part of my time there. Pretty cool way to end my trip.
