Poor Cubs... if they don't figure out this whole hitting thing the drought is going to continue. I thought baseball was going to offset the fucking shitty football weekend and it managed to for one night but now I am again.
10/19/2016 8:30:04 AM
Yeah damn Cubs. I don't want to see this damn Dodgers team in the WS. I've been hoping for that Indians-Cubs WS since last month. Hope the Cubs bats wake up tonight. Make Urias will buckle under the playoff pressure.
10/19/2016 5:42:15 PM
Mission complete they need to win tonight so they are left having to take 1/2 from the two pitchers who dominated them.
10/20/2016 8:31:25 AM
Yeah tonight is pretty much a must win for the Cubs too. Lester against Maeda is a big advantage for Chicago. Lose tonight and watch Kershaw dissect them in game 6.
10/20/2016 9:05:39 PM
Woot Cubs. Awesome WS with the Cubs-Indians to look forward to. I'll be pulling for the Cubs, but won't be upset if the Indians win.
10/22/2016 10:58:28 PM
Cubs win the pennant!! Cubs win the pennant!!! Been waiting my whole life to say that! 4 more wins and I can die happy!
10/22/2016 11:05:10 PM
Congrats Cubs. Let's go tribe.

This is the first world series in a while that I actually would be happy if either team won.
10/25/2016 8:13:54 PM
didn't realize neither Texas team has a WS
10/25/2016 8:40:21 PM
technically the Rangers franchise won the 1924 World Series[Edited on October 25, 2016 at 8:52 PM. Reason : m]

The Indians are getting fucked by Hirschbeck tonight. All borderline calls so far going Cubs way. Then Bryant took strike three down the pipe and got ball four.
10/28/2016 9:23:17 PM
^As a Cubs fan, completely agree, get it together
10/28/2016 9:28:01 PM
Nah that ball was low
10/28/2016 9:44:19 PM
Great game. Great save. Go Cubs!
10/30/2016 11:46:01 PM
So pumped!!!! Do it again Tuesday!
10/30/2016 11:48:48 PM
this one is getting ugly
11/1/2016 9:05:14 PM
It's nice to see a former talented A's prospect hit the first grand slam for the Cubs ever in a WS.
11/1/2016 9:09:15 PM
So Francona will just use all his "dregs" relievers tonight...
11/1/2016 9:10:50 PM
Relying on Kluber for game 7 might come back to bite him in the ass.
11/1/2016 9:12:13 PM
Pumped. Game 7s are the fucking best.

I will either be able to die happy tonight or I will be depressed that I had two teams in one year who should have won it who crushed my dreams.. please done let me be panthered tonight.
11/2/2016 3:56:08 PM
Hahaha "panthered"[Edited on November 2, 2016 at 4:09 PM. Reason : Mobile ]
11/2/2016 4:09:07 PM
Beyond the obvious historical storylines, a couple more tidbits that could make this one of the more historic game 7s. Kluber with a chance to win games 1, 4, and 7 and etch his name among the greatest postseason performances ever. Cubs trying to complete a remarkable comeback from down 3-1 including the last two on the road.Couldn't ask for anything better as a baseball fan than this. Well maybe if it was in Wrigley, but still pretty damn awesome.[Edited on November 2, 2016 at 4:43 PM. Reason : g]
11/2/2016 4:42:10 PM
Helluva way to start off the game.
11/2/2016 8:07:40 PM
Whoa, wth how did Cubs score? I missed it, just got out of a bubble bath.
11/2/2016 8:12:48 PM
Fowler with a leadoff HR
11/2/2016 9:00:36 PM
It's part the Cardinals fan in me, but the strike zone has favored the Cubs all series
11/2/2016 9:47:58 PM
Well, that's one way for Jon Lester to get rid of baserunners.
11/2/2016 9:59:14 PM
LMAO
11/2/2016 10:11:07 PM
Holy cow.
11/2/2016 11:14:26 PM
whelp
11/2/2016 11:15:16 PM
Hey remember that fucking 2 run wild pitch
11/2/2016 11:18:39 PM
Or the three out blown save?
11/2/2016 11:20:00 PM
Maddon going to be second-guessed forever if they lose. Took Hendricks out with 60 pitches on full rest. Put Lester in the middle of a dirty inning. Pitched Chapman last night when game wasn't really in doubt.
11/2/2016 11:20:48 PM
Fox execs must be smoking with hundred dollar bills and money signs in their eyes.
11/2/2016 11:21:14 PM
Yeah Maddon managed pretty poorly I think. Especially last night.
11/2/2016 11:21:59 PM
Hey, the cubs were doing just fine before we pitched youWe think too much and that's an issue but we're okayHey, you tell your fans it was nice to meet themBut I don't think you'll ever see them againI know it breaks your heartMoved to the city in a curse breaking yearAnd four games, no callsNow you're looking shitty in the 8th with 2 outsAnd I IIIII can't stopNo, I IIIII can't stopSo cubbies put your closer in the backseat of your bullpenThat I know we can't affordBite that tattoo on his shoulderPull the banner right off the cornerOf the stadium that you stoleFrom the people back in chi-townWe ain't ever getting breaking this curse
11/2/2016 11:22:05 PM
Irony of this maybe going to extra innings is both managers will have to go deep into their bullpens where, based on this series, they don't trust most of them.
11/2/2016 11:26:19 PM
1 hour left before the rain delay will have to kick in
11/2/2016 11:35:52 PM
bunting with 2 strikes
11/2/2016 11:41:07 PM
Elliot Avent even thought that was a bad bunt....WTF lol Cubs
11/2/2016 11:41:53 PM
at this rate Aroldis is gonna be in their 5-man next season
11/2/2016 11:43:24 PM
Nah they are letting him go in the offseason thus why they are throwing his arm off.Holy shit at that radar. We might be up until 2 AM watching this. Might have to call in sick.
11/2/2016 11:56:19 PM
they could fly to chicago and be ready to finish the game in 1 hour
11/2/2016 11:56:53 PM
It's only fair to both teams to resume it in better weather.
11/2/2016 11:58:49 PM
^ LOL
11/3/2016 12:00:16 AM
What a great game
