prime day doesn't really do it for me. Now i just have dozens of alerts on CCC and wait on individual price drops.

Looks like I fucked up on that generator. I think it will be enough to run tools or power lights for outdoor projects, which is what I need it for mainly.
7/13/2016 9:38:58 AM
meh...I'm ok with the purchase. as long as it's reliable, I'm cool w/ it. You can always return it if you get buyer's remorse.
7/13/2016 10:38:57 AM
^True. Also probably great for tailgating if you do that type of thing.
7/13/2016 11:50:15 AM
for tailgating though its important to buy a quiet generator or you and everyone around you will get sick of it
7/13/2016 12:20:02 PM
For tailgating just buy an inverter and hook it up to your car
7/13/2016 12:40:17 PM
I didn't buy shit. Same as last year. At least thought about it a few times this time around
7/13/2016 3:09:37 PM
I racked up a kitchen scale, a crock pot, and an f'n Oasis that I didn't get a break on, other than the 30 from using my Amazon card.

Got a waterproof GoPro knockoff for about $20 off the regular price. Not bad. But nothing special for me as far as comparable to Black Friday.
7/13/2016 5:06:39 PM
I guess enough people also bitched about that VISA30 offer expiring halfway through the day they went back and gave people $30 who entered it in later in the day to be told it had expired or at least they did for me.

I ended up buying a fire stick and a digital antenna, both things I have been wanting to buy. So long cable.
7/14/2016 10:52:48 AM
install Kodi^you'll thank me later.
7/14/2016 12:15:15 PM
install kodi and add the exodus add-on
7/14/2016 1:06:40 PM
kodi takes forever on my fireTV stick.
7/14/2016 3:20:07 PM
Installing Kodi is my plan. I'm looking forward to saving a 100 extra bucks a month.
7/14/2016 3:35:37 PM
what channels can you pick up with a digital antenna
7/14/2016 4:43:23 PM
4 PBS channels, some religious stuff, cartoons, Hispanic channels, and a couple networks if you're lucky
7/14/2016 4:49:49 PM
you should be able to pick up ABC, CBS, and NBC around Raleigh, right?[Edited on July 14, 2016 at 5:09 PM. Reason : and FOX]
7/14/2016 5:09:14 PM
yeah i was mostly making fun of a friend who lives in Creedmoor and has trouble with a couple networks
7/14/2016 5:16:57 PM
Even with a Mohu leaf while I pickup all the major networks as soon as they put sports or something on that is clearly higher quality it usually has pixelation problems on and off which makes it super annoying. You can move the antenna around usually and get it to come in better until you change channels and then the other one sucks haha.
7/15/2016 8:06:36 AM
I've never had that problem and I have a simple powered RCA digital antenna.
7/15/2016 8:10:18 AM
I just got cable to watch sports but I end up watching at a bar 95% of the time anyway so I think I'm going to cut the cord soon.
7/15/2016 9:26:01 AM
Cut the cord and get Netflix and Hulu. You won't miss cable.
7/15/2016 9:42:04 AM
that Kodi w/ Exodus add-on
7/15/2016 10:19:02 AM
sling at $20/month gives you access to espn over the internet.
7/15/2016 10:53:48 AM
Ugh. Hulu@7.99/month, Netflix@9.99/month, then Sling@20/monthAt some point you need to think about going back to cable. I guess it just depends on what is most important to you. This is why I don't think streaming is going to take off for everyone.By the time you sign up for each premium channel's service, you're spending a lot of money every month.
