yeah, pretty fat. Western states are dramatically better.

...although the Triangle area is relatively much more svelte and educated than NC on the whole. When I leave Pensacola (FL panhandle area, surrounded by Alabama) to visit Raleigh, it actually is very striking how much less stupid and obese people are, on average.

So, here is the update on what happened.

Eventually, a new guy (who is actually a very old friend) came into the picture. I had pretty much cut all ties with the other guys. I did the fade out pretty much. All but one of them got the hint.

I never asked him to come out on my birthday. Friday night he sent me a text asking if i was going to my normal Friday night spot. I never replied. I was going to my normal spot. The guy I'm now seeing came over to my house, along with several other friends, before we went out.
We all rode together and meet several other friends out there.

We got there, and there were several shots given to me, was fairly intoxicated. Me and the guy that went with me were getting pretty friendly with each other. The next thing i know a friend of mine gets my attention and tells me that some guy is just staring at me.
I look up and it's homeboy that texted me earlier. He asked if i wanted a shot and i said yes then (in my very intoxicated state in which i was not being the most polite person) i turn back and kiss the guy I'm with.

Found out later the guy stood there for a few minutes just staring at me, then left.

The next day he blew me up getting all butt hurt that i was with another guy. I told him that i had told him before i was seeing other people, and that he and i hadn't seen each other in two weeks or talked in a week. He shouldn't have gotten upset with me because i didn't invite him out.

Needless to say, that was a little hectic, but I'm not really upset homeboy saw more than there was.

^^LOL, you seem to be overlooking the fact that she's been counting on this bit of "hectic" drama since at least May 19. There were like a billion things she could have done to avoid this foolishness, and she did none of the things. She could have delivered the "hint" adequately, responded to his text, not taken any of these dudes to her regular Friday night spot, and not kissed some new guy right in front of the old guy (who I'm sure was douchey but still came out to see her and got needlessly "hurt").

And, guys, this isn't bitchy. It's stupid and kind of gross.

I don't disagree that it's gross and could have been avoided, but it's par for the course in our society. Any reasonably intelligent person on the dating scene should half expect to be played this way, until there is a clear mutual understanding of a monogamous relationship.

Had she invites the one guy to the bar for the specific purpose of kissing the other guy in front of him, the should would have stepped outside the bounds of what's normal.

On the standard of intelligent, educated people who want a better world, what she did was needless.

On the standard of American society with an average iq of 100, what she did was normal and almost expected.

I don't see the big problem here. OK it was pretty mean to kiss her other friend in front of boy #2. But really it sounds like boy #2 got all upset when he saw her with another guy, even though he KNEW she was seeing other people! And he kind of stalked her by showing up to her usual bar, then instead of being a fucking man and saying something or joining the party, he just stared at her.

Looks like a normal case of a guy freaking out when he realizes he's not the stud that he thinks he is.
