the one time they played each other on a neutral field, who outplayed who?exactly.and I always said he was too lazy mentally for the NFL even with all the talent in the world.[Edited on October 2, 2014 at 9:11 PM. Reason : d]

Yeah he set that come back up on a tee for you.

^^ I know right? if you are someone else, maybe, MAYBE you can talk shit, but NC State? LOLwhats yup Heisman winner Amerson? lol
10/3/2014 2:58:43 AM
Probably best for neither to say too much. Except for a few early bird seniors in college today, everyone younger has seen Tennessee beat Florida by more than 3 points exactly once in their lifetimes. And Muschamp is fighting for his job. And at some point Zook was too although I'm guessing the one time they beat UF (in that timeframe) by more than 3 was the Zook era. Also, 8 straight double digit losses to UF, again with Muschamp for several of these. I miss Lane Kiffin's cracks at Florida.

Yeah...I don't think Bray outplayed Glennon...it's just that UT was much better overall.Bray was a more talented Harrison Beck. Fucking gunslingers.
10/3/2014 11:39:22 AM
Speaking of NCSU QBs outplaying UT QBs...this guy says hi:
10/3/2014 11:44:34 AM
^^ time makes you forget... Glennon was awful that game. 4 INT's, fumble (maybe more than one, cant remember) ^ was does Wisconsin have to do with this?
10/3/2014 1:12:03 PM
Jibbles made a joke.
10/3/2014 1:15:14 PM
I just remember Glennon not having any time to throw in that game and we didn't run the ball well. Tennessee's D-lineman made our O-line look like high school players (and vice versa on the other side).I wasn't the biggest fan of Glennon...but I definitely didn't come out of that game thinking Bray was any better. He had some really good games in his career...but he also made some stupid mistakes. Kid was a nutcase.
10/3/2014 1:20:39 PM
definitely a nut case... Jeff George Part II. Arm of a god, brain (or at least mental effort) of a turd
10/3/2014 1:33:22 PM
trolling state fans about an NC State alumn. UT sucks. period.
10/4/2014 12:09:41 AM
stay classy, Vols fans
10/4/2014 3:24:29 PM
Lol. UT fucking sucks. Lost to Jeff Driskel at home. Might as well abolish the program.
10/4/2014 3:36:25 PM
Starting to regret purchasing those UT tickets now. I don't mind watching them lose...would just like to see some decent football. That game set football back about a decade.
10/4/2014 3:45:16 PM
At least my Vols stayed classy with the 'fuck you Florida' chants
10/4/2014 3:53:11 PM
Worley vs Driskel was like watching Pete Thomas vs Pete Thomas.
10/4/2014 3:53:41 PM
I hope Lil Jon didn't end up coming after all. Wouldn't want him to hate the sport of football after that shitshow of a "game"
10/4/2014 4:13:43 PM
Crazy days with how shitty UT/UF are right now (in context). Those Manning vs Spurrier games were must see TV. That game, along with OU/Nebraska and FSU/Miami were my favorite non-NCSU games growing up.
10/4/2014 8:03:04 PM
I hear Tennessee is a real classy place.
10/5/2014 5:57:51 PM
JUST GOT BACK FROM THE GAMETHOUGHTS:1) Wow what a shitty game2) In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't get a chance to watch the State/Clemson game.
10/6/2014 8:40:02 AM
yeah, that was brutal... which is a shame because the weather and atmosphere were fucking awesome, but such an ugly damn game. If Worley played 1/4 as good as he did against Georgia we would have won by 14+. Offenses were awful. But, I do have to say that downtown Knoxville has undergone an amazing transformation since I had last spent time down there (usually stay on campus for game day). Downtown used to be a ghost town after 5pm but it is pretty damn awesome now.
10/6/2014 10:43:59 AM
After the game me and my group of friends went to a couple bars there on the strip (or whatever it's called). I thought it was a great gameday atmosphere. But just a really shitty game to have to suffer through. It was a great trip...had a lot of fun. I had never been to Knoxville before. It seems like it'd be a really fun college town.
10/6/2014 10:51:33 AM
the strip used to be where it was at when I was in school but it's declined a lot (but still fun on game days), mainly as downtown, Market Square and the Old City have been revitalized. Strip is a lot more "corporate" now, lots of chain restaurants and bars, very few local places now, but you can still have some fun there on game day at least
10/6/2014 10:56:03 AM
^^^ I was wondering what was up with Worley. I was under the impression that he was an above average QB. Was it the UF defense? Or just a shitty game by him?Got any pictures of the "checker-out"?
10/6/2014 11:15:09 AM
I've been living in Knoxville for the last 1.5 years and I've definitely been impressed by the nightlife and not just on gamedays. Market Square, Gay Street and Old City have lots of great bars and are all within walking distance of each other. Been to the Strip a couple times and it makes me feel really old and I'm only 28. Honestly I think the bar scene here is way better than Raleigh.
10/6/2014 11:23:47 AM
^^ I think he was still hurt from that blow to the elbow from Georgia, but even if his arm was good he made a lot of dumb mistakes. Just an all around awful game. So many turnovers, and we got shit from them. And I actually have an awesome pic that I took that turned out really well, almost looks photoshopped or like I used some filter shit but its straight off the iPhone standard lens:^ yeah, those areas used to be SO dead. Market Square was really damn nice. And I love the theatre as well... my masters thesis from like 12 years ago was basically "how to revitalize downtown knoxville"... they listened well [Edited on October 6, 2014 at 12:10 PM. dang that is a nice pic...here's one i managed to take before my phone died i thought the checker thing looked really good.[Edited on October 6, 2014 at 1:21 PM. Reason : dd]
10/6/2014 1:21:11 PM
Did you have to sit in the whites only section?
10/6/2014 1:34:28 PM
I was in an orange section and there was a black man in that section. I cannot say for certain whether or not he was kicked out of the white section and forced to sit in the non-white section
10/6/2014 1:43:05 PM
Checker thing looked good. We would have fucked that up on so many levels (see the Red/White stripes we attempted in 2011)

JB! My wife is going to the USC/Tenn game and is dressing our dog up as a Tennessee football player. Her sister is dressing up their dog as a USC cheerleader. I won't be there to be a part of the shame, so I'm posting these for you:
10/29/2014 10:44:03 AM
poor dog. i'd only feel worse for him if it was a State jersey.
10/29/2014 10:47:40 AM
I actually hope they beat USC...because I don't know any Tennessee fans in real life (other than my wife)...and the USC fans down here are HORRIBLE.And poor JB is having a tough year.

Big W for Butch & UT. The D is starting to worry me though.
11/2/2014 2:06:47 PM
Another W!Now UT is 5-5Just need one more W to go bowling (shitty bowling)Maybe UT can play State in Nashville
11/16/2014 2:29:11 PM
Had a blast in Knoxville this past weekend...although it was cold as balls.Got some pretty good seats, about 19 rows up from the endzone:Knoxville is a pretty fun town. The Old City is where its at...although "the strip" is pretty good for game days. Neyland stadium and the surrounding area is bad-ass. It sucks that its pretty much impossible for it to happen at State, but having your football stadium on campus is infinitely better than having it off-campus (if you can have adequate tailgating areas...Kenan sucks).
