It doesn't have any affect on the game, and it is always key to remember that sharps lose an awful lot too.

However, reverse line movement on your team is definitely not a good sign for what really tuned-in people think about a game.

Yeah as long as we win this one game at least the media will get off our backs for not being deserving. Also last year felt really shitty to lose the first game I'd rather enjoy the winning feeling for as long as possible.

After our last loss to duke, we came out strong against MD with a TJW-less team kicking off a 3 game win streak.

^^^yeah, both of those were "hangover" losses that were hot on the heels of heartbreaking last second losses to Syracuse and UNC. I don't think they'll be carrying that same burden this go 'round.

It's funny, I was ready to be really apathetic about this NCAA tourney, then we got in and I'm really into it, reading every article I can, etc. I'm sure it'll be all-consuming but then when the Pack loses, I won't care at all again and will barely watch any of the games.
