Ha, Tiger struggling on a par 5, hits one in the bunker, then makes his caddie pick up his club and something else. He's such a tool, but it makes you wonder if the Caddie gave him some bad yardage or reads lately.
8/8/2013 11:57:27 AM
I'm sure his caddy is giving him bad information to sabotage his game
8/8/2013 12:06:28 PM
I'm not saying that, but he's using the caddie a lot today and not trusting his own reads. I think it's hurting him.
8/8/2013 12:08:11 PM
Is it just me or does Keegan Bradley have a funky swing and stance?? It's almost like he's squatting and trying to pop out a little turd every time he swings.
8/8/2013 12:16:56 PM
5 iron huh? Well, you're fired.
8/8/2013 4:03:08 PM
Definitely pulling for Dufner but I think Stensen is going to win

wonder how many times Furyk has had to run to the bathroom this morning?

8/11/2013 7:32:34 PM
GG to Dufner. I like how he does seem to give a fuck about anything.
8/12/2013 8:44:04 AM
He's the Jay Cutler of the PGA Tour.
8/12/2013 8:56:12 AM
Yeah except that Dufner is actually good at what he does while Cutler is just a bitch and waste of talent.
8/12/2013 9:17:25 AM
^that
8/12/2013 9:28:42 AM
Cutler fizzled out in college. Dufner is just hitting his stridethe only similarity is they both have smoking hot wives
8/12/2013 10:03:27 AM
i know, i'm just talking about his demeanor, just kidding around anyway. I don't mind Dufner at all, I was pulling for him yesterday. Whereas Cutler I'm hoping he throws an interception every time he lets it go. And yes, Dufner's wife was smokin'.
8/12/2013 10:22:35 AM
Dufner is a trip. It's like he tries to be disgusting to look at.
8/12/2013 10:50:12 AM
^lol yeah that picture they kept showing of him yesterday where it looks like it got it taken just after getting out of the shower/swimming pool.

Supposed to go golfing today in charlotte. Not looking like thats gonna happen. Thanks Bin Laden.
8/16/2013 6:12:37 AM
^Supposed to tee off in the morning at 7:30 with the Father-in-Law (down from Pennsylvania) and then again Sunday down in Pinehurst. Doesn't look good, although we have golfed with snow on the ground in PA over Christmas, so what is a little rain?
8/16/2013 7:43:44 AM
^^^Do they fill the playoff fields when people sit out? So does number 126 & 127 get in the tourny now?
8/16/2013 9:17:05 AM
^^^^how does a top 20 golfer's brother schedule a wedding during a major golfing event?^no, it's top 125 only, then I think it drops to 100 after Barclay's. Johnson can mathematically still go to next tournament even if he doesn't play 1st round of playoffs.[Edited on August 16, 2013 at 9:28 AM. Reason : asf]
8/16/2013 9:26:39 AM
^oh yeah, I get that. A lot of folks skipped at least 1 event last year. I think this pisses the Tour off b/c these events are supposed to be so "important". In theory, they could both sit out and still make the tour championship, although, they would probably lose their current spot based on the escalating point values.
8/16/2013 3:15:25 PM
since it's introduction i've wondered whether golfers even give a shit about the fedex cup. obviously the networks and the pga hype it up to keep people interested in golf after the majors, but the majors continue to be what defines greatness in golf. tiger would probably still consider 2013 a disappointment if he won the fedex cup.
8/16/2013 3:58:45 PM
I would imagine the FedEx cup is a much bigger deal to players who have 1 or 0 majors and maybe aren't getting lucrative endorsement deals. Sure, most top 100 guys on tour now are making damn good money, but $10MM for the non- Tiger/Phil/Rory crowd is probably serious incentive to play
8/16/2013 4:15:49 PM
I think everyone in the top 10 gets a 1mm+ bonus. I am sure they care based on that. As far as record books, etc....it probably doesn't much matter to a lot of the elite players.

crazy how good of golf the man is playing right now, yet still gets ridiculed. 99.5% of the golfers in the field would take the kind of year he is having this year and be ecstatic.
8/25/2013 8:34:27 PM
i only ridiculed him for ^^i wouldn't give a shit about watching golf if he didn't play
8/25/2013 8:37:11 PM
He's been battling back trouble all week
8/25/2013 9:01:50 PM
Can't people just make fun of Tiger and go on with their day instead of having to defend it?Anyway, had a blast at the Jimmy V Classic today. Scotty McCreary can't putt. ...99.9% of country singers would kill to be putting like Scotty...

lower back spasms on golf course are hell...he was trying to play a huge slice and that puts the most torque on your back than any other swing. He said he starting feeling it on the 12th hole and I think that swing on 13 did the number.
8/26/2013 9:37:30 AM
My brother and I both had back spasms doing power cleans in high school. Not enjoyable.

Haven't played WW in a while, but the last handful of times, it's been in pretty poor condition. There's long been a problem with maintenance there, especially the tee boxes. Not a bad course, but there's only a couple holes where driver comes in to play even from the blues, and for me, hitting a driver is part of the reason I want to play golf.
9/27/2013 9:52:51 AM
I agree it's a relatively short course, and the tee boxes can be rough, but at ~6500 yards from the blues it isn't *that* short. I don't know how far you hit your driver, but personally, I can hit driver from more than a just couple holes. I'm biased though, I like the course because I live just a few minutes away from it. I would agree that it's nothing worth going out of your way for.
9/27/2013 12:01:14 PM
So I count on 270 or so off the tee. The only holes I feel comfortable hitting a driver at WW are 7 and 13. 9 and 18 are maybes depending on how I'm playing (as in, if I've been shitting the bed, why not hit driver?). The other thing about WW is if you're playing a weekend, go ahead and count on a 5 hour round. The logjam waiting to tee off on 2 and 3 can kiss every part of my ass.
9/27/2013 12:23:55 PM
What about 5? 10? Worried about water on those two if you blast a 290+ drive? 14 too tight? 16?
9/27/2013 2:21:56 PM
5 is questionable, but with any fade/slice on a drive, it's going for the creek, or if I catch it, I'm in the trap. 10 is so much downhill that a 3 wood leaves ~150 yards in; no need to push it.
9/27/2013 2:28:39 PM
is it me or do Natalie Gulbis' titties keep getting bigger?

gonna need some recent examples to verify.
