I definitely think this team misses Alex Johnson. Not so much his 3-point shot (which was inconsistent), but his defense.

He was the one guy who could put a lot of defensive pressure the other team's point guard. His quickness was incredible. We just don't have a guy who can do that this year. Purvis can to an extent, but he's not on AJ's level.

What I liked our win, no bitch fest hear. I think that it is better to have an offense that hums on interior passing rather than jacking up threes. I am a happy camper.

Actually, our offense would be more efficient and more versatile if we shot more 3's. We lead the nation in FG% and we rank very highly in 3pt FG%, but we are not in the top-5 in overall offensive efficiency because we just don't shoot many 3's.

Scoring 75% of points in the paint will be a problem when we face teams with a solid defensive post presence.

Really feel good about the way Brown and Leslie have been playing lately. While Howell's beasting was nice to watch, we only go as far as those two take us. Right now, they could take us a very long way.

Didn't OSU own us in the paint? The teams we want to beat will be able to compete with us in the post.

Problem is our other 3 point shooters are freshmen, and they may not feel comfortable jacking up more 3s.

Thus, Brown is the obvious candidate to shoot more 3s. Not sure how that's working out.
