somebody put this guy up on their couch tonight!
7/14/2012 5:52:19 PM
All the contacts I have do not have couches or space available for various reasons. Looking through couchsurfing now......really do not want to drop $60 -100 to sleep somewhere for a night. If someone does put me up, I can make pretty nice pancakes from scratch :p
7/14/2012 6:05:47 PM
How long have u lived in Raleigh?
7/14/2012 6:25:25 PM
I've been here 2 weeks and called quite a few people..... no luck

> one of that seems even remotely legal That is EXACTLY what I told them. They pointed to the contract saying they can evict me (its a temporary eviction pending the investigation) given as little as 6 HOURS notice, 48 hours being max, they were being nice I guess. >I also don't believe your graduate program would kick you out of the program (2 days later) based on a charge. A conviction, maybe, but not a charge.Come by I'll show you the letter signed by the director>I can only assume someone called them because of you.I guess I should't have the right to defend myself when my boundaries are clearly violated AND even then I wasn't physically violent but apparently scared the shit out of the guy. This was not why I was arrested, as you can clearly see by the report. >Have some self control man.I was trying to meet new people while my program was still in the introductory / easy stage. A lot of the time it was with classmates (83 of them total) because the program is cohort and group driven. You can drop by (PM for location) if you think I'm lying, I'm sitting on my laptop trying to find housing solutions now. I have all my stuff & docs on me. I've had my character questioned enough recently.

mrfrog >Student housing is the perfect example of a group of people who shouldn't have been given the power they were given.Ironically, an RA was the person involved in this incident as well.
7/14/2012 7:07:45 PM
which dorm were/are you living in, if i may ask?(or has that been posted already?)
7/14/2012 7:11:33 PM
Oh I get it now, your incident happened inside the dorm, hence the eviction. I still think it's all a little swift, legally speaking, but we don't know if you did some truly cray cray shit which might warrant that type of swift action. So...um...what the hell did you do?I mean if you're trying to get random strangers to put you up in their place, perhaps you should be more forthcoming about why you're in this situation.
7/14/2012 7:18:31 PM
synapse , you saw the charges. And I just told you what happened. My friend got too friendly crossing the line and by the accounts I've heard I scared the shit out of him. Edit: This was not what I was arrested for as you can see by the charges. I believe it was the right thing to do on my end to not talk to the police & press charges. Think what you will tho.[Edited on July 14, 2012 at 7:29 PM. Reason : more info]

I believe that student housing would temporarily evict for a charge. I know someone who has a job on hold pending a outcome of a criminal case. It's a "you're welcome to come back after we make sure that you're not really a danger to anyone here"[Edited on July 14, 2012 at 7:36 PM. Reason : ]

Doesnt matter, end result is im homeless due to bs allegations which will get dropped eventually.
7/14/2012 7:40:29 PM
^^ That's a bit pedantic if the demand for them to leave forces them to find a new place and move their stuff.[Edited on July 14, 2012 at 7:42 PM. Reason : ]
7/14/2012 7:42:00 PM
^It is...and it really sucks. But apparently it's ok to do. I mean it's okay to do for a job too. This person was told that they are lucky that they weren't fired on the spot just for the charges. But since this person has been working at this place for many many years and pretty much everyone knows this person is probably not guilty of the charges this person is just being able to be suspended without pay pending charges dropped or verdict of not guilty. So the same thing is happening with him and his housing situation. The university is probably just trying to cover their ass saying as long as you're not really guilty you can come back, but until then tough luck.
7/14/2012 7:50:11 PM
Well I was "fired" from my grad program on the spot.....I'm going to try to fight the charges & that decision even though the letter from the director said it was 'Final'

if you think that the reason he got kicked out of ncsu and is because of a simple drunk in public charge, think again. people get drunk charges at ncsu all the time and don't get kicked out of their programs. you all should be able to figure it out from things he's said in this thread. notice how he went out every night. notice how he complained about there not being single redheads around. notice how that bartender said he "pissed off half his customers." if that doesn't describe his character to you then i don't know what does. The drunken charge was NOT the reason for him getting kicked out.[Edited on July 14, 2012 at 10:59 PM. if you're really hot I have space in my queen size bed i'll rent to you for sleeping purposes
7/14/2012 10:51:44 PM
I do get that i look like james franco a lot & I am pretty fit.....you know for sleeping purposes lolFloyd - I'm Slavic with a NYC background and if you're implying that is somehow wrong that would be discrimination. If my presence annoys have the bar that's fine with me, because the other half is having a blast. Usually people who take themselves too seriously do not like me very much. Genuine people like me a lot.
7/14/2012 10:59:04 PM
i could probably sleep next to james franco
7/14/2012 11:00:07 PM
that is absolutely not what i was implying. most of my friends are from NYC and ive got a few russian friends. what i am saying is, i dont buy for a second that your reason for getting kicked out was because of what you said...
7/14/2012 11:01:11 PM
Well despite having a rough night, I still made it to class on time, did the classwork and worked on the group project. So you can think anything you want, i worked on wall st. for several years, I am one of the most professional student in the program. Everyone who I spoke with said people were shocked over the decision.
7/14/2012 11:05:04 PM
holy shit. alias fiesta in here
7/14/2012 11:07:20 PM
well from just the way you type here, it seems you are well-spoken and certainly are very intelligent. i mean, to get into grad school you have to be intelligent. what did the program director say to you? i just know people who have been in situations just like yours and did not get kicked out of state. the only reason why i am asking about this is because it's not adding up that you'd be kicked out over something unrelated to ncsu.
7/14/2012 11:07:58 PM
>why i am asking about this is because it's not adding up that you'd be kicked out over something unrelated to ncsu.Floyd........this is EXACTLY how i feel as well ! well man, i wish you the best of luck. i didn't mean to come off as harsh, it's just things aren't making too much sense to me. i'm just going with what i see here once you get all the questions answered let us know because it'd be good to see how all this stuff works.and you are right, i don't know you, and shouldn't be so quick to judge. if you say lots of people like you, then i mean you know yourself best. i did not mean to seem that way. the internet isn't exactly the best way to judge someone's character.
7/14/2012 11:15:36 PM
floyd....im like a Buddhist in that the Karma (hopefully) balances to zero. I hope that the amount of hate I generate is balanced out by the love. Why the hate, because I call people out on their bullshit so they are either able to laugh at themselves or get consumed by their own ego and become hostile. I'm not saying its right or wrong but that is how I seem to operate and I seem to attract interesting people into my life but some people really hate me and I have come to accept this. I have enough love for the both of us.
7/14/2012 11:32:41 PM
something with this thread is...off.
7/14/2012 11:39:48 PM
are you coked out?
7/14/2012 11:43:23 PM
I recall during orientation roughly 6 years back Paul Cousins saying that they expelled several students for partying and underage drinking during the orientation weekend. If this idiot went out and got himself arrested after a 2 week drinking binge during the first few days of the program that might be what happened.
7/14/2012 11:52:21 PM
he's not underage^ I bet you're a blast to party withtotal wild man[Edited on July 14, 2012 at 11:58 PM. Reason : -]
7/14/2012 11:58:20 PM
^Point being that the university has a history of expelling people that fuck up their first impressions. If you can't cut it a week how would you be able to cut it for a year or more? Also, I am a greek that took a victory lap because I didn't take college seriously. Pardon me for growing up. Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.
7/15/2012 12:45:02 AM
This whole thread and this dumbass Russian is hilarious to meY'all are being taken for a fuckin hayride with this guys storyI bet some of you would be stupid enough to make living arrangements for this guy

>If you can't cut it a week how would you be able to cut it for a year or more?Program only runs 10 months......>Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.Good thing I'm fit, intelligent and, aside from the incident, always sober. BigHitSunday , I was told about you. While I appreciate a 6'5" black troll as much as the next guy, and some of your IRL trolling is extremely funny, aka "Why do black people have white people" (I did laugh at that story), this situation actually involves the rest of my life. So I would appreciate you being a descent person and either adding productively to the conversation or finding your kicks picking on large rednecks in real life. Thank you very much sir.
7/15/2012 4:04:15 AM
what did snewf tell you that? Youre in another, like, galaxy i have no idea what youre talking aboutif "productive conversation" means kissing your ass youre trippin. You can act like you have this NYC arrogance all you want but Im the most arrogant motherfucker on here so I guess well butt headsthe point is that you continue to demonstrate diminuitive character and youre annoying because you act as if it is OK to behave the way you do...based on the bullshit you type on here not that i know you IRL nor do I care to...but yoiu dont really seem to have that much regard for the rest of your life if you cant even put the bottle down for one night and handle your affairs.i dont ever troll, what I say is what I feel is correct and ill say it to any fat ass redneck on here or in person[Edited on July 15, 2012 at 4:30 AM. 7/15/2012 4:34:53 AM
BlackJesus , while I would never throw the first punch. That's about how it would go (i'm not a very big guy like the shirtless guy in the video) except with better ground control. I would have transitioned to side control and landed a few knees to the ribs and head followed by an armbar if the situation merited that level of aggression.EDIT: BHS is a big dude who also does mma from what i've heard. i wouldnt bother with an armbar in a street fight because people will break their limbs and keep fighting you

For those who don't know - DK212 was in the analytics grad program - which is extremely different than any other program on campus. It's extremely professional, and this behavior will absolutely get you kicked out. They really want you to develop an image, and this kind of behavior does not help that image. It's extremely unfair and incorrect to take your experience from NCSU and apply them to the analytics program, because honestly - they are completely different.I believe they have 83 students this year and their goal is to get it to 80 to 'scare' the class. So they are actively seeking 3 kids who can't cut it, and any little mess up has overblown consequences. It sounds like it was a no-brainer to make DK212 one of the 3 who is kicked out.So for those who think DK212 isn't telling the whole truth - just know what flies in most grad programs will get you kicked out ASAP in the analytics program[Edited on July 15, 2012 at 8:14 AM. I believe John Wall, and you know. Makes perfect sense and that EXACTLY explains the smug looks I received from the chief admin officer of the program. Its like she knew it was going to happen eventually. That conversation makes 100% sense to me now ! Thanks John !

What is it with Ruskies and Analytics masters programs? I know two other Russian students in Analytics programs after coming to the U.S.Also... DO THE JOHN WALL.
