lol at last night's episode -- the part when she was propositioning her boss was cringe-worthy.


I can also appreciate the realism behind the size of that guy's apartment. It's mostly just one small room with a bed, which is a lot more reasonable for New York than the gigantic apartments that are bigger than my house in most shows.

the storyline between allison williams and that guy is an embarrassingly appropriate cautionary tale... so i don't know who i'm going to relate to in this show anymore if he's gone.

but even if it only lasts 5 episodes, thanks lena dunham.

I don't necessarily like this show, but I'd agree with all of this. I think after seeing Dunhams interview in Colbert, and seeing what her angle is, helps me to appreciate the show more.

I really liked this episode. I like how Adam's character is developing. Marnie is the absolute worst, but they've done a good job of patiently developing her character. It's a little while before the audience finds out that she is probably the most awful, self-absorbed, unlikable one in the group.

Overall, Dunham and the other writers have done a pretty damn impressive job of character development early in the series.

she ended up loving it and wanting to watch more of it

I don't think I made it through the first episode. I cannot stand the main character (the girl on the first page of this thread in the picture). I don't even remember her name at this point, I just hated her.

I can't relate to these girls at all, and I just want to punt them.
