Bernadeau to Dallas... but it seems that most of you were pretty "meh" about him on page 1
3/15/2012 7:36:36 AM
So the NFC South is now like the ex-charger league.
3/15/2012 8:21:49 AM
Jason Brown is visiting. He made the Pro Bowl few years ago. Would be an upgrade over Wharton.
3/15/2012 10:38:08 AM
Brown is a NC native ... he actually played at Chapel Hill. Can only help our chances.
3/15/2012 11:17:12 AM
Brown would be one former Tar Heel I wouldn't mind getting
3/15/2012 2:04:10 PM
Saw a headline on CBSSports.com that Shockey wants to go back to the Giants
3/15/2012 2:10:57 PM
Gary Barnidge balled out in training camp last year before he got hurt, he should be fine paired with Olsen
3/15/2012 2:13:38 PM
3/15/2012 2:18:43 PM
I posted all about it in the NFL thread. Funny stuff.

Mike Tolbert is visiting this weekend according to Joe Person on twitter (not sure who he retweeted/got it from).
3/17/2012 6:47:16 PM
Awesome, we definitely need another running back
3/17/2012 6:49:35 PM
Jason La Canfora ? @JasonLaCanfora RB Mike Tolbert agrees to 4yr deal with Panthers. #freeagency
3/19/2012 11:21:12 AM
Best case is we find a take for Williams contract (LOL). Realistic case is we trade Stewart for a first or second. No way we go into the season with Tolbert and both those guys on the roster.
3/19/2012 11:32:41 AM
3/19/2012 11:38:13 AM
Tolbert will probably be just a fullback.
3/19/2012 11:46:31 AM
I doubt it, we already got Richie Brock and our offense doesn't utilize the fullback that often. Unless we're planning to run some Georgia Tech shit, one of these guys has to go.
3/19/2012 11:50:32 AM
Wasn't Brockel a FA also?Anyway, in 2006 the Chargers had LT (MVP season), Michael Turner, Sproles, and Lorenzo Neal in the backfield.
3/19/2012 12:03:59 PM
Brockel was tendered an exclusive-rights free agent by the Panthers, so he'll be back.
3/19/2012 12:38:51 PM
i think the multiple RBs speaks directly to how healthy we expect we can keep our line. these backs are gonna be taking hit after hit. i dont have a problem with it.
3/19/2012 1:13:15 PM
Tolbert is a terrible fullback. He's a running back, through and through. This move is confusing with Stewart and Williams both under contact.
3/19/2012 1:22:55 PM
anybody have any *BREAKING NEWS* about 34/28?
3/19/2012 3:04:07 PM
3/19/2012 5:07:16 PM
I really like williams and would rather see stewart gone.Plus he is just gonna get hurt again.
3/19/2012 5:12:24 PM
Williams hasnt played hard since he got his contract extension. He is basically doing what LT did to the chargers. Trade his ass
3/20/2012 7:34:43 PM
he got old???
3/20/2012 7:41:46 PM
Trade his ass to who? Who besides Marty Hurney would want to pay a 29 year old running back 35 million dollars?
3/20/2012 7:46:37 PM
Pittsburgh? Isn't Mendenhall pretty much out for most of next season?
3/20/2012 8:30:49 PM
that is exactly the opposite of what the Steelers do
3/20/2012 8:36:19 PM
i would say Redskins, but they've already mortgaged their future
3/20/2012 8:44:09 PM
http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videogames/blog/_/name/thegamer/id/7717123/round-32Ok so we need to all vote against Cam Newton to ward off the Madden Curse
3/21/2012 12:49:35 PM
unless that dude has an all-world season, it's going to seem like a letdown. im not worried about some damn madden curse.
3/21/2012 1:34:58 PM
3/21/2012 1:55:38 PM
it'd be funny if a cornerback or safety were trying to injure Cam, and Cam just ran over them and injured them
3/21/2012 1:57:29 PM
3/21/2012 2:44:04 PM
Vilma's like "No my 50,000 buuuuuuuuuuuuucks!"And Payton is like "VILMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
3/21/2012 2:52:24 PM
fuck itwe're winning the NFC South next year
3/21/2012 3:07:15 PM
I really think so.
3/21/2012 6:35:09 PM
So it atlanta now the favorite in the divison? Then carolina and saints for second? We will see how much a difference a head coach makes.
3/21/2012 6:42:23 PM
Atlanta is probably the favorite as of right now on paper, the Saints are also without their linebackers coach for the first 6 or 8 games, can't remember which, and still might have some players who get fines/suspensions
3/21/2012 6:44:33 PM
^^ he's not only their head coach, but also their playcallerI think it's going to kill their season
3/21/2012 6:45:33 PM
Saints are still the fave until someone takes it from them. They still have the best personnel. The Falcons are still number two, but Ryan really has to take "The Leap" this year or people will wonder if he ever will. We're a close 3rd, followed by Tampa. Its going to be a tightly contested division, IMO. We're going to beat up on each other a lot. No 14-2 teams outta the South.
3/21/2012 6:46:32 PM
its still the Saints' division and they're still the champions until someone beats them, but I think all this shit hitting the fan today made ATL the favorite to win the South this season
3/21/2012 6:53:01 PM
Give Vegas a day or two to course correct and then we'll see
3/21/2012 7:05:22 PM

THIRST TO FIRST
3/23/2012 10:49:04 AM
how does signing a guard replace a tackle?
3/23/2012 11:34:15 AM
Wharton's been a guard for a while now
3/23/2012 11:37:48 AM
