LOL the top of my draft was full of I took Stanton in the 1st round, Car-Gon in 2nd, Cain in the 3rd and Jered Weaver in the 4th. I had the 12th pick so it was wrap around picks. Other than Car-Gon, I wasted my first 4 picks. I did get some value from guys like Phillips and Desmond, but both Dunn and Trumbo have struggled. My best pick was probably Glen Perkins late in the draft. Needless to say I am in the bottom 3rd of my league. Fucking Mike Stanton...

Yahoo! is now showing David Price on the DL.. anyone know about that? he's off the DL now. tanks, Yahoo! WHY DO I PAY YOUMatt Cain v. Arizona today? I am slightly ahead in a WHIP and K but trailing in ERA and W. Matt Cain has been a mess all year but when he's on he can give a great 1ER, 0.75 WHIP, 9K day.[Edited on July 20, 2013 at 9:18 AM. A.Craig in round 3.Carlos Gomez in round 6.Puig in last round.Worst: middle rounds- Miguel Montero and Ryan Ludwick.

I took Montero also. What a waste. I picked up Victor Martinez as a F/A and have been playing him since.

I got Gomez in the 13th round...guess that was probably my highest value pick actually...but shit, my team blows this year

I hate Carlos Gomez.

Kemp calling out Braun, saying his 2011 MVP should be stripped (Kemp was 2nd in voting)Just step it up in the 2nd half, ok Kemp, since you're about to go on the DL again possibly

you know you have the 2nd worst record in your league when Yahoo's news and notes about your players include things like"Cole Hamels picked up his career-high and major league leading 13th loss of the season on Friday, despite allowing just two runs on six hits over his seven innings."and"Dickey was in line for his 12th loss before the Astros' bullpen imploded. The knuckleballer has already allowed more runs this season than he did all of last year. The big issue has been the home run ball, as he gave up another one tonight, bringing his total to 24 over 134 2/3 innings. That ties him with Joe Blanton for the major league lead. He'll carry a disappointing 4.86 ERA into a start against the Athletics next week."

So what to do with Matt Harvey... He's obviously hurt, and it's NEVER a good sign when a player sees Andrews. The Mets have long since been out of the race and have no reason to push him this season. But no reports have explicitly stated he's done for the year. just wishy washy stuff like he may put off surgery etc. If I were in a roto league, I would have dropped him a long time ago. I have him in both h2h leagues I'm in, and I'm headed for the playoffs in both. Since it's h2h, I've stashed him in my DL spot in the event he does pitch again. With my luck, he'll either pitch again and get blown up, or I'll drop him and he'll dominate for someone else in the playoffs, most likely against me.has anyone heard if he's seriously done for the year? I think all things considered I should drop him. in all likelihood if he does pitch again this year (which looks unlikely), he'll be very limited and/or not do well.

I dropped him over a week ago in both my leagues (1 h2h and 1 roto). Playoffs have already started in the h2h league so I didn't have room on my bench for another DL player since I have David Wright too.I believe it's highly doubtful that he pitches again this year I felt pretty safe about dropping him. Last time I checked he was owned in < 50% of the leagues (on espn).
