"You wanna know a place that's really gone downhill? Fucking red lobster man. They used to have a nice array of yummy seafood, now it's all greasy and bland. I'll be ok if I never step in one again. Only good thing is those dam biscuits."

When has Red Lobster ever been good? Everything has always been dripping in butter. Those biscuits have always been the bomb though.

"Both were terrible and felt like they were watering themselves down to fast food sitdown."

What did you have at Outback that was so terrible?

"Also include Olive Garden and Outback in that statement for being able to find better Italian and Steakhouses"

I'm totally with ya on Olive Garden, but what other restaurant in Raleigh can you get a decent steak and two good sides for $20, much less $15?

I wonder if there is some catch, like you have to eat an entire bloomin onion and loaf of bread and salad and your whole steak and sides before they start bringing you shrimp

^^^Duuude, it's like someone made a menu for my most ridiculous self.

I want that steak, all those shrimp x10, several strawberry bulls, all the cake pops, and I've never had "black lava salt" so I'm probably gonna need at least four watermelon 'ritas. I'm gonna get drunk in the parking lot beforehand so I plan to drink those 'ritas by lowering my face to the table and slurping them out of the glass.

You're on notice, Outback.

^^^^^Hell yeah! However, if you plan to tailgate alone, make sure the rest of your party isn't already inside watching you drink beer and talk on the phone in the parking lot.

I had my birthday dinner at Outback in Cary two weeks ago with my family. Overall it was a good experience. Good but not great. We ordered two Aussie four-course meals. One was salmon, the other was steak. I like the blue cheese pecan salad and clams chador soup. Steak was pretty small, not like 8 oz, but it tasted good. I let them cooked medium. Salmon was fine, fresh and soft. One side with the entree was Mac and cheese, plenty of amount . The desserts were strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes. Pretty normal quality. Overall I like my first ever steak house experience here,as I only went to steak buffet before, never steak house. The place was very popular, lots of people were waiting, so joining the waiting list beforehand is necessary.

I heard Longhorn was not very good so I chose this one. We have too many options in triangle.

I used to go to steak buffet Ryan's a lot of times when I was a FOB. Now they seem close a lot of branches already.

I think that Outback, Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse and Logans are all pretty similar and not bad if you don't want to spend $40 on a steak. They should get more love.

If not for birthday celebration purpose I may have avoided them b/c having too much fat steak is not good for health.
