Good game was kind of ruined by some asshat fans. The RBC staff allowed people in the upper section to move down in the lower student section behind the goal on the band side. Good for them! But some dumbass fatass redneck with his inbred family didn't want to stand up and the RBC staff spent the rest of the time trying to make the students sit down because the Fatass kept on bitching. When you turn around and you see he has total of two rotten teeth and his wife has a jail tattoo of a cross between her saggy udders you can pretty much assume the inbred redneck part. The best part is when some students parents got irate because they were being told to sit down by this dumbfuck and the usher. Regarding the attendance and atmosphere:

I know it was against Delaware State on a Wednesday night in early January before classes have started but it seriously made me .

I saw and over heard several groups of students leaving at halftime saying things like, "Dude this game is over" and "Look at the score; let's get out of here." The real exodus began with 10 minutes left to go in the game. Smh.

As many close games we've been in against shitty opponents, don't these people want to enjoy watching us handily blow someone out? I know good attendance and atmosphere will come with success but as someone pointed out earlier, it also helps create success. It really makes me cringe in my seat during the pregame when we declare our arena to be the loudest and refer to it as a "cathedral of basketball".

My freshman year was our Sweet 16 run in Julius's senior year. We had success for a few years up to that point and were a top 25 program. The students were awesome then and I attribute a lot of that to the previous years' teams.

Our team right now is dealing w/ 5 years of MEH. If our fans didn't care then we wouldn't have made a big scene w/ the hiring process of our new coach. It's just our students have no precedence to make them want to be there during the holiday season (as compared to when we were ranked).

I expect our crowds to be great from here on out for ACC play.

I had 300 level tickets and we got to move to the student section behind the dance team. It filled up quite a bit by about 5 minutes into the game.

And I noticed quite a few people leaving early. Not sure why you would leave early though. You should either be a fan who wants to see your team play or at least be a peron who stays to get their money's worth from the tickets.
