Zobo has to come up big for us.First of all, he has to control Tyshawn Taylor. No small order.Second of all, he can't be a game manager we need his scoring too bad.I'm looking for 18 points, 5 reb, 6 ast, 2 stl, 3 to from him with 7/12 FG, 3/4 FT, 1/2 3's.Give a dawg a ZOBONE
3/22/2012 10:47:07 PM
we need at LEAST 8 3's from wood/brown/williams
3/22/2012 10:48:33 PM
Does anyone else think he's going pro this year?
3/24/2012 10:10:14 AM
^he had a great end of the season, but I think he is still too inconsistent to get drafted in the first round. And you have to be not very bright to leave for a non guaranteed contract.

I just got tricked into watching an interview with Seth Curry. Thanks WRAL
6/12/2012 10:50:15 AM
well, you got to see that lorenzo is better than curry at dribbling two balls
6/12/2012 11:04:44 AM
still appreciated and he was dribbling the hell out of those two balls
6/12/2012 1:37:46 PM

6/12/2012 1:51:02 PM
I agree to an extent, but Winston's YWCA is actually really nice. And Zo can dribble the hell out of two basketballs apparently
6/12/2012 3:49:21 PM
The Chris Paul point guard camp culminates on the final day when he teaches this maneuver:

He still has to make at least 1 of the wide open 3s he took[Edited on December 18, 2012 at 11:24 PM. Reason : and continue to work on limiting turnovers]

Zobacca
12/18/2012 11:32:58 PM
Zo is amazing when he is hitting that floater. He'll always be turnover-prone, like Leslie is and Hodge and Melvin were back in the day. He plays fast and loose, and sometimes that can be a double-edged sword. But like with Hodge, you gotta take the good with the bad and let him do his thing. Especially when he is scoring at will, like today.
12/19/2012 12:00:01 AM
Most good players turn the ball over a shitload. That just comes with the territory. Most good players don't shoot 35%, however. Good to see that the Zolock is improving on that
12/19/2012 12:21:53 AM
cubic zobonia really took the turn last night
12/19/2012 8:27:57 AM
^^ Idk about that
12/19/2012 10:50:51 AM
Zoca Cola Classic He's back, great game.
12/19/2012 2:25:36 PM
He's got to stop trying to cross people over when he's being guarded tightly. He's too tall and his handle is too loose for that. Last night he tried and got the ball swatted; it then bounced off his knee out of bounds.Overall though, really good game for Zo -- that floater is deadly. Just wish he could hit open 3's more consistently.[Edited on December 19, 2012 at 3:36 PM. Reason : ]

after that game, i'm definitely voting for Zobama for mvp.
12/19/2012 4:30:39 PM
The ZomBoni had a great game last night, for sure. Still wish he'd cut down on the turnovers though.

1/9/2013 11:23:58 PM
overall a pretty great game...but needs to play more consistent defense
1/9/2013 11:25:03 PM
1/9/2013 11:31:15 PM
Honestly, I think he tries a lot harder on defense than it seems. The problem is he's 6'5 and not overly quick, so he has trouble staying in front of his man. Most of the PGs he matches up with are a lot smaller and usually quicker than him. They make him look like he's not trying as hard sometimes. His length usually makes up for it, and he seems to really lock in some times, but he's just not built to be a lock-down defender at PG. I'd still rather have him leading the team than just about anyone else in America.
1/9/2013 11:41:28 PM
zojangles really asserting himself more and more. unstoppable when he wants to be
1/9/2013 11:42:50 PM
Zojangles signature seasoned assists might be leading the ACC but I agree, sometimes his greasy napkin defense needs work

1/10/2013 10:14:18 AM
^^^People keep saying it because he's not that quick ... compared to me and you he is, but compared to a lot of other ACC point guards, he's not. He's agile and fluid, and he's got good ups, but he's not overly quick. Watch his feet on defense ...
1/10/2013 2:08:43 PM
I do...and he's quick. GT's point guard didn't get by him once last night. The taller you are, the less "quick" you seem and in general, it's always going to take taller/longer people slightly longer to make certain moves. But at the same time, their length makes up for it.Zo's length and quickness is enough to keep 99% of NCAA point guard in front of him. End of discussion. As a side note, he does seem to be a little lazy fighting through screens and getting to an open defender. That also makes him look a little slow. But our team as a whole is pretty bad at both of those things.
1/10/2013 2:14:37 PM
haha I love the poll skew. ZO brown getting the 2nd most votes of anyone for first place. haha but in 6th overall.
1/10/2013 7:57:46 PM
Regardless of how slow you think Brown is, white, pimple-faced, Boston college guards should not be blowing by him for easy layups. He just gets upright and has poor footwork on defense. That's all. It's not a terminal problem, just a chronic one.
