^Hahaha yeah that final scene with the schwarma was hilarious. And I get the eye candy for the ladies but he should have at least had it on for the final battle.

Incredible movie.A+++++++++++++They nailed it.
5/4/2012 10:12:14 PM
Awesome movie!!!!Hulk vs Loki... SOOOOO satisfying.
5/4/2012 10:30:42 PM
Beaten like a car floor mat.
5/4/2012 10:35:35 PM
Great movie love the scene with Hulk/Loki and Hulk/Thor. Stark has some great one liners.I see you playing Galaga
5/4/2012 11:56:07 PM
Enjoyed it a lot.
5/4/2012 11:59:58 PM
Robin from how I met your mother has been going downhill for a while now, but she looked damn good in this movie. She wore leather pants better than Scarlett in my opinion.
5/5/2012 12:00:32 AM
I thought that was her.She was gorgeous. Hottest thing in the movie.
5/5/2012 12:02:48 AM

Definitely my favorite of the Marvel films, and deservedly making a fuck ton of money. Ruffalo is perfect as the Hulk, and they use precisely the right amount of him. The pacing is good and it's really funny. The post-conversion 3D didn't do a whole lot for me, but otherwise it looks great. I only got out of it a couple hours ago and I already want to see it again.
5/5/2012 12:51:38 AM
All has already been said. Perfect movie in my opinion. As has been said, from the last Hulk Movie and the statements made about and from Banner, he has more control when he decides to turn into hulk v. being angered into hulk. Awesome start to the summer movie. III
5/5/2012 1:43:54 AM
Fuck I was so impressed by this. Joss Whedon is fucking incredible. It took me half the movie to figure out why I was LOVING it so much, then it hit me like the Hulk's love tap on Thor.NO MICHAEL BAY SHAKY CAM BULLSHIT.Damn near all the fight and action scenes used stable camera positions, with decent holds between cutting to different angles/viewpoints. I could actually enjoy the details of the fighting, the choreography, the subtle gestures and expressions, and just take in the scenes. This movie is what comic books should be on the big screen. I can honestly say this movie is in my top 10 of all time. I take that very seriously, and it's probably the only "summer blockbuster" style action movie in my list. But the pacing was phenomenal, the character acting was spot on, the chemistry between the actors really progressed through the movie, it stayed in canon without being ultra-nerd inaccessible (Watchmen) or being dumbed down for first timers (Hello nearly every comic book movie). And I almost shit myself in the theater when Thanos popped on screen. There's no way they will be retelling Infinity War or any of the other "Classic Universe" Thanos storylines. This movie, and the ones preceding it all take place in the "Ultimate" universe, where Thanos is the ruler of "Acheron", but there's not much more about him yet. So basically the door is wide open for storylines.

So was the attached batman trailer the same one released a few days ago?
5/5/2012 9:59:15 AM
our trailers were for 3 cartoon 3D movies, promethius, spiderman, battleship and i think another one i cant remember
5/5/2012 10:07:33 AM
Yeah, nothing new on the Batman trailer yesterday.I'm going to see it on IMAX today, might get something different.
5/5/2012 10:08:43 AM
Looks like I got gypped on trailers. Didn't get a Batman, Spider-Man, or Prometheus trailer. Just a bunch of Disney cartoon movie trailers. I think they didn't quite get their demographic correct for the midnight showing.
5/5/2012 11:21:43 AM
our trailers were Battleship, some Pixar thing, Spider-man, Batman, and a really weird Tim Burton one called "Frankenweenie"
5/5/2012 11:39:45 AM
5/5/2012 11:41:40 AM
I saw it in 2D and don't think I saw a spider-man trailer. I did see the same batman trailer that came out last week. I really want to see Avengers again in IMAX 3D. So, so awesome.
5/5/2012 1:05:06 PM
you really dont need the 3d at all.The IMAX size was nice, but the 3d didnt do shit for it.Also, I like this review; speaks a lot to how i felt about the movie:http://revision3.com/trs/avengers[Edited on May 5, 2012 at 1:25 PM. Reason : *]

I always feel left out when I don't know about obscure villains (obscure to me at least)like the guy revealed in the middle of the credits
5/5/2012 2:02:04 PM
Honestly he is one of the most obscure "mainline" villians in the Marvel universe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanos
5/5/2012 2:45:38 PM
Damn it, where's the warning to stay for the entire credits I left after ThanosWhat a great movie. I wish they could have detailed a little more on how Thor was able to come back other than Loki saying that someone had to use more energy, but whatever. And no homo but Black Widow got way too much screen time...like the Halle Berry effect in X-Men
5/5/2012 4:24:25 PM
lets do this!
5/5/2012 5:00:42 PM
I geeked out so damn hard when the Helicarrier took off.
5/5/2012 9:06:05 PM
I loved it and [maybe a SPOILER!]when the hulk slammed Loki around, I laughed so hard and loud I got embarrassed in that packed theater. I also LOVED the references to quadrotors and 6th sense technology!!!
5/6/2012 1:14:46 AM
never really cared for the marvel movies but really enjoyed this onei know nothing about superheroes and im not reading this entire thread, but how come the hulk guy was sometimes completely out of control and beating up his friends and other times sort of just chillin with them?
5/6/2012 1:47:55 AM
Lol how would that be a maybe spoiler ^^? Ironically thats been answered twice so far in this thread.... ^]

usually i'm annoyed when people clap/laugh super loud during a movie, but i found myself giggling or excited during all the same parts[Edited on May 6, 2012 at 9:43 AM. Reason : ]
5/6/2012 9:43:08 AM
i rewatched captain america last night and noticed the original human torch on display at the worlds fair at the beginning. didn't catch that in theaters. thought it was a nice touch.
5/6/2012 10:04:48 AM
5/6/2012 5:57:10 PM
Loved it. SPOILER? Only real criticism I have is that when the city is being attacked, you never saw anyone get hurt. Reduces the threat.
5/6/2012 6:09:24 PM
Nah, I think of UAVs when I see quad rotor and don't know what 6th sense stuff is . It is all pretty sweet though
5/6/2012 6:10:35 PM
5/6/2012 7:38:43 PM
I don't know much about the comic lines, but I think Silver Surfer ends up good and bad depending on the situation.
5/6/2012 8:08:08 PM
Loved it. Hit all the right notes. Whedon is a master.
5/6/2012 8:18:18 PM
pulled it 200 million this weekend.. dominated harry potter's record
5/6/2012 9:26:18 PM
The first movie I have ever left and had no complaints. It was a perfect superhero movie, and a damn near perfect movie in general. A few questions though: (SPOILERS AHEAD)What was in Loki's staff that Thanos gave him? I'm going to assume that it was the Mind gem from the Infinity Gems. It matches the color (Blue) and it controls peoples minds. Still don't know why it didn't work on Tony. I assume it was due to the arc reactor in his chest.Who was Thano's right hand man? No clues on this one. Also loved the last line about death. This is just an tip of the cap to comic nerds that know that Thanos is in love with death.
5/6/2012 10:20:55 PM
*****SPOILER*******I've heard several people on other boards talking that Coulson was a SHIELD life-model decoy, and will be returning for Iron Man 3. His "death" was the plan of his and Fury's to rally the team. Should be interesting to see if Clark Gregg returns, but I think it's almost a guarantee.
5/6/2012 10:31:18 PM
^Some people want his mind to be downloaded into the Vision. I kinda hope they treat him like Kenny in South Park. Just have him appear in the next movie and no one notices anything and then kill him off again.
5/6/2012 10:39:16 PM
5/6/2012 10:59:30 PM
This movie was so incredible. I'm a comic movie fan and I'd say I enjoyed it more than basically any comic movie ever."That man is playing Galaga!"
5/6/2012 11:07:46 PM
i never got into the comics, so i don't know much about the characters other than whats already been in movies, but hawkeye was a lot more badass than i had expected
5/6/2012 11:18:58 PM
Fan-fucking-tastic
5/6/2012 11:46:11 PM
Saw this at Raleigh Grande on Friday night meh. ALso didn't see the last 15 minutes - the power cut off right when thor got stabbed by loki
5/7/2012 7:17:11 AM
^then you missed a lot of the best parts
5/7/2012 7:19:29 AM
i feel like im the only person in the world that really liked hawkeye as a kid .....i always played as hawkeye when i played the avengers arcade game.
5/7/2012 8:04:41 AM
I guess they don't have the rights to Dr. Doom. Man that could be good. Excellent movie. Insane how much actual story and character progression he packed in. I still hate Buffy the Vampire Slayer but Joss Whedon is a master.
