Hey guys, I don't think Brodie is a terrorist.
11/29/2011 3:11:23 AM
I liked this episode, it was nice to get a background on the Brody situation. It was definitely a filler episode but I thought they put enough interesting parts in it.
11/29/2011 10:24:29 AM
was there no new episode last night? not seeing it on the torrent sites
12/5/2011 12:20:08 PM
there was, pretty quality
12/5/2011 1:05:55 PM
12/5/2011 1:34:59 PM
yeah I was watching Dexter and saw it flash "Homeland all new Next!" on the bottom ... I found a link on pirate bay
12/5/2011 1:49:20 PM
for only having 2 episodes left, the previews after last night's episode made it look like there could be some pretty crazy turns. i was hoping this would be all tied up within one season, but it sure seems like a lot to pull together[Edited on December 5, 2011 at 1:55 PM. Reason : words]

last nights was great, and second season is already plannedhttp://insidetv.ew.com/2011/10/26/showtime-renews-homeland-for-a-second-season/[Edited on December 5, 2011 at 2:41 PM. Reason : .]

i thought they were planting evidence for Saul to be the mole (or at least to make us think he's the mole) back when he was giving excuses to not take the polygraphsince they haven't really hinted at it in a while, I'm thinking he might just be a mole
12/7/2011 1:11:11 PM
Taking a poly while under a shit load of stress skews the results, gives false positives, etc.
12/7/2011 1:15:55 PM
well obviouslythat's how im saying he could have been using it as an excuse
12/7/2011 1:18:41 PM
I like when Carrie tells Saul to stop being such a pussy
12/7/2011 1:34:09 PM
one of my favorite moments so far has been Carrie getting up in Sauls face "FUCK THIS SHIT"
12/7/2011 3:38:28 PM
since Brady still seems to be working with Abu Nazir, he could have snuck in the razor to the interrogation room. as far as tipping off Walker, I thought maybe the hearts in the window were a signal. 1 heart = ok, 3 hearts = trouble? maybe there isn't a mole?
12/7/2011 6:44:06 PM
i think it's weird that jessica calls him "brody"
12/7/2011 6:52:14 PM
I think its weirder that his WIFE calls him brody
12/7/2011 7:04:46 PM
^ ha, glad I am not the only one who thought that
12/7/2011 7:24:29 PM
Honestly, it's not all that uncommon for military families, especially when the wife met the husband after he already in.
12/7/2011 7:28:35 PM
I have a LOT of military on both sides of my family and plenty of friends in the military and NO ONE outside of fellow military refers to them by their last name, especially not wives/so'sand I know my experience may not be an acccurate reflection of reality as a whole, but I've never even seen this done in other movies/tv[Edited on December 7, 2011 at 7:38 PM. 12/7/2011 7:36:09 PM
I didn't say it was standard or what most of the couples do, but I've seen it enough to not think twice about it
12/7/2011 7:37:47 PM
you're in the military right? so I'll take your word for it, but it definitely struck me as odd
12/7/2011 7:39:13 PM
12/7/2011 8:08:03 PM
aha, sorry, for some reason I read that as carrie
12/7/2011 10:12:33 PM
how has nobody been talking about this show?
12/12/2011 2:23:00 AM
Carrie is kinda nuts, if not intelligent, without her medsreminds me of a Carrie I know
12/12/2011 2:43:09 AM
I hate it when they show SO much in the scenes from next week. Which reminds me of the promos they ran constantly leading up to this show which totally gave it all away.If you remember the part where they found hairy gingerbeast Brody in the hole and he whispers "IIIIIIm an American" well all season we have referred to this show as "IIIIIIIm not Dexter".
12/12/2011 12:45:46 PM
season finale is going to be BONKERS. love this show a lot.
12/12/2011 12:57:34 PM
^^thats why I never watch the previews of next week for any showand last nights episode was great, claire danes is phenomenal[Edited on December 12, 2011 at 3:29 PM. Reason : .]
12/12/2011 3:29:18 PM
^ agreed. the absolute anger/horror on her face at the end was ridiculous
12/12/2011 3:32:44 PM
she had those crazy eyes down pat
12/12/2011 3:43:16 PM
last nights show as really good the previews for the finale look nuts ... cant wait until next week to see what goes on. its like carrie goes on another plane of thinking when her bipolar disorder gets wacky
12/12/2011 3:48:10 PM
Her crying face has always been the dealbreaker for me. I always pictured that her crying face is what made Keanu sad.A screen cap from last night would illustrate this, but when she busts out that face I think of those drama masks...Not saying I would kick her out of bed or anything but it sure looks like someone has at some point, and the blow must have broke her nose.[Edited on December 12, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Reason : also has anyone else noticed how Brody's mouth and voice changes when he lies?]
12/12/2011 3:58:39 PM
Great episode. Pumped about the finale. I do wish the trailer didnt give away so much tho.
12/12/2011 9:30:58 PM
finale is going to be nuts. excellent show.
12/13/2011 9:31:38 PM
Not very credible as a CIA agent but goddamn she plays the fuck out of a crazy bitch.
12/13/2011 9:46:50 PM
Morena Baccarin is looking fine on Craig Ferguson.
12/14/2011 1:25:04 AM
still can't believe people don't post ITT more...questionable ending. kinda felt it had to go that way but..interesting nonetheless
12/19/2011 1:52:32 AM
I do not like that he killed his best friend just like that. Tom Walker was badass, and that VP deserved killing.
12/19/2011 2:33:12 AM
It was either kill Walker or Walker kill him. I thought it was pretty slick how he turned his failure around.
12/19/2011 9:06:53 AM
i don't understand why walker didn't just shoot the VP instead of "missing" and taking out elizabeth gaines. the rest of the VIPs would've gone down into the bunker either way and the VP was clearly nazir's #1 enemy. I did, however, think their method of getting Brody past the medal detectors was pretty clever.also, how much is brody going to be able to influence the VP anyway? That's also assuming the guy even gets elected. I don't think Nazir would've gone for that.I was kind of hoping that Brody's recording would've come out leading to Carrie's reinstatement. Since the show isn't 24, it doesn't seem plausible that Carrie would be able to go rogue and still thwart any kind of attack in season 2. however, that does seem like the direction the show is going to go with her and the van guy. i hope s2 doesn't revolve around brody.IMO, it was a pretty weak finale to an otherwise awesome first season
12/19/2011 10:05:47 AM
Nazir probably wanted Brody to do the deed since he was close to his son.
12/19/2011 10:09:45 AM
My mind could be fuzzy, but now that we saw the real plot, what was the purpose of the white lady and professor earlier in the season, other than her ID'ing Walker?
12/19/2011 11:23:02 AM
did Brody take the SD card from Walker after he shot him? already deleted the .avi, and I can't remember lol
12/19/2011 11:43:24 AM
if he did, i didn't him do it. you would assume that he did though.
12/19/2011 11:58:57 AM
no, he would have had blood on his hands from shooting him in the grape at that range too
12/19/2011 7:43:31 PM
It wasn't slick. It was the most obvious outcome ever.I was banking on them purposefully giving him explosives that didn't work to test his loyalty with long term plans to have him become manchurian candidate. But they didn't, so having Nazir accept his cockamamie story just like that stretched credulity. Also, amnesia is a convenient plot device.
12/19/2011 8:46:36 PM
I was disappointed in the finale. I wanted the attack to just happen as planned.
12/20/2011 9:00:55 AM
not a great finale, but overall the season was pretty good. started off great, and declined from there. but i'll definitely tune in for season 2.
