Florida doesn't have players right now? You CANNOT be serious. 2010 Class ranked #1. Regarded as one of the best classes ever: http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=14&yr=20102009 was ranked #21 by scout: http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=14&yr=2009 Muschamp will likely need some time, but with fatman running the offense, he can focus more on D. If there's gonna be a problem, it likely won't be b/c of lack of talent.

Hardly. We were what, maybe 3 point dogs? Everyone knows we come to play on Thursday nights, especially at home. Technically an upset, but not even close to a shocking one.Losing to a depleted Carolina team in Doak Campbell would have been a much better example.

Okay this is a few days old, but how in the world did Heather Dinich look at the stats and decide to put Tydreke Powell as the No. 1 DT in the ACC? WTF?http://espn.go.com/blog/acc/post/_/id/26014/ranking-the-accs-defensive-tackles1. Tydreke Powell, North Carolina: The team captain was one of only two UNC defensive players to start all 13 games last season. He finished the regular season with 47 tackles, three tackles for losses, 2.5 sacks, one pass breakup and one forced fumble.2. Joe Vellano, Maryland: He led the Terps with five sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss. He finished with 63 total tackles and two pass breakups. He is also the son of former Maryland all-ACC defensive tackle Paul Vellano.3. J.R. Sweezy, NC State: He had 13 tackles for loss last season, six sacks, 46 tackles, three pass breakups and six quarterback pressures.4. Marcus Forston, Miami: He had 37 tackles last season including 12 for a combined loss of 31 yards. He also had three sacks, an interception and one pass deflection.5. Jacobbi McDaniel, Florida State: The true sophomore played most of the season with an elbow injury and still started all 14 games. He finished with 31 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss, had two pass breakups and got his first career interception against Wake Forest.6. Nikita Whitlock, Wake Forest: The noseguard from Texas finished last season with 44 tackles, including 10.5 for loss and three sacks. He also had three pass deflections.7. A.J. Francis, Maryland: He had 44 tackles last season, including seven for losses of 29 yards. He also had 2.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries.8. Brandon Thompson, Clemson: He’ll be one of the leaders of the line this season, and last season had 40 tackles, including six for loss.9. Everett Dawkins, Florida State: Despite midseason surgery on his thumb, Dawkins didn’t miss a game and finished with 39 tackles (20 solo), six tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.10. Antoine Hopkins, Virginia Tech: He started 12 games last season and had 45 tackles including 6.5 for loss and two sacks.

i'm trying to figure out why people care what she writes about. she's one miniscule step above bleacher report
7/3/2011 10:09:08 AM
Yeah but unfortunately she reaches far more people than bleacher report b/c she writes for ESPN.
7/3/2011 11:46:50 AM
I feel like this is going to be a shitty year for the ACC.
7/4/2011 2:17:30 AM
nah fsu is a contender
7/4/2011 2:37:02 AM
I know we don't take Heather Dinich seriously, but she put CJ Wilson in her list of top 10 CBs in the ACC. I don't even know how to respond to that, it's like she just sorts a stat sheet and picks the top 10 people off it.

i agree

What's going to be funny is when a few weeks after OU stomps FSU and they're a one loss team, their fans will probably start touting "hey what about us? we should be mentioned in the title hunt, blah, blah, blah," and then they go off and lose to someone like Boston College. Oh just to see their title hopes come burning down.

losing Easterling hurts pretty bad http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/13682485/30430006
7/5/2011 7:43:48 PM
Rare to see WRs switch to MLB. I guess he is just a great run stopper who has a knack for diving on loose balls in the middle.
7/5/2011 7:46:59 PM
^Wow, my thoughts exactly.
7/5/2011 7:48:02 PM
How smart is your program?http://cfn.scout.com/2/1074494.html
7/5/2011 8:21:51 PM
hell yeah, beat out big blue
7/5/2011 8:23:15 PM
fuck Maryland
7/5/2011 8:26:36 PM
Oh baseballI kept thinking middle linebacker and saying there's no way in hell Easterling is big enough
7/5/2011 8:30:41 PM
oh yeah i, too, was completely befuddled and read that as "wide receivers switch to middle linebacker"nm The E Man is just trolling us[Edited on July 5, 2011 at 8:34 PM. Reason : .]

^^^haha if you look at my post it is bisexual and can both go ways.
7/5/2011 9:04:38 PM
Caleb King ineligible for the year. Big blow for Georgia. Crowell better be ready to step up.
7/8/2011 2:39:45 PM
Why are they doing two games next year for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game? I want the spotlight all to ourselves.
7/11/2011 5:48:36 PM
because they figured UT would be up by 28 at halftime and people would start picking gum off their shoes in boredom
7/11/2011 6:44:41 PM
Still can't believe you lost to UNC.
7/11/2011 7:14:44 PM
What was Dooley's record at Louisiana Tech again?
7/11/2011 8:02:31 PM
^^ that same game would be a win from here on out. We will sacrifice one game to bullshit to help ensure the future of college football. The Dooley Rule shall be passed!^ hell if I know, I would assume pretty shitty, what fucking player worth a crap would go to La. Tech?[Edited on July 11, 2011 at 8:15 PM. Reason : d]

7/11/2011 9:23:34 PM
So every coach that fails up is great now? Give me a break.
7/11/2011 9:37:08 PM
Sorry, I actually did post 2 ^ the first go around and then edited to 3. Don't know why. Probably due to being tired from studying for my boards all day long.
7/11/2011 9:39:05 PM
^^ hey buddypal... we arent the ones that brought up Dooley's abilities one way or another, so church yourself
7/11/2011 9:40:02 PM
All I meant to say is that you can't always judge a coach based on what he did at a smaller school with obvious disadvantages. Hell look at Coach K's record at Army. Sometimes coaches have bad records b/c of things they can't control, and then again sometimes they are just bad coaches, and perhaps that's why they are where they are.
7/11/2011 9:43:21 PM
exactly, so bringing that up before the coach has had enough time at his major school is goofy
7/11/2011 9:44:37 PM
Jury is still out on Dooley. Needs a couple more years before anyone can render judgement. I personally don't think he'll be there five years from now, but that's just a guess. ]
7/11/2011 9:45:42 PM
7/11/2011 9:59:08 PM
what? no it doesnt... very very rare that someone goes from not a head coach at all to BOOM - Major Program! Not saying you have to assume he's a good coach either... just that its too early to tell one way or another.[Edited on July 11, 2011 at 10:05 PM. Reason : d]

7/11/2011 10:26:36 PM
That is some fine circular logic right there. And it's kind of curious you're defending the outgoing AD considering the circumstances of his departure.
7/11/2011 10:33:11 PM
What a meaningless debate.
7/11/2011 10:34:49 PM
