Game still looks like crap. The engine is already rendering those crappy blocks in better resolution, so the graphics are inexcusable. I might buy it once a real company buys him out and does it properly.

Anyone who complains about the graphics of this game:
a) is completely incapable of having fun
b) totally misses one of the biggest draws of this game.

These are the same killjoys that were complaining about how crappy the graphics looked in GTA:SA while the rest of us were out stealing harrier jets and having the time of our lives.

Aside from Plants Vs Zombies last year, I haven't played a "real" game on a computer (non-console/iPhone) in 3-4 years at least. This is the first game in that time that's made me actually break out the old gaming mouse. I honestly feel bad for people that can't enjoy a game simply because it doesn't require a $500 video card in a $2000 PC to play.

can't get the sound to work on my home PC. windows 7 x64. fucking annoying. i've tried every "fix" i could find and no luck. only thing that works is playing in-browser, and that's just annoying. i like being able to resize the game window.

^^I figured out that because me, Wyloch, and DK are OPs on the server, we can change materials and add materials to the area around the spawn point, but normal members can't add or remove materials within 40 blocks (up, down, around) of the spawn point to prevent griefing and such.

We'll have to move the visitor's center or AT LEAST the sign collection.

Too tired to make a bunch of screenshots right now. He's a bad view from the spawn point. It's a teaser for some better pics I'll take tomorrow.

On the left: "DK's Shaft, Water Slide & Plume"

Right: "Netstorm's Biosphere, Arboretum, and Underwater River Ride" (it's farther away than the other two structures, but it's bigger), for comparison the tower on the left has the same size shaft as the Biosphere's).

Not pictured: Wyloch's Underwater Base, Park's House, uh, lots of other things. Ernie's name in stone.

The stone you see around the visitor's center and common area is some edging I did today, cut some paths in stone to structures, mostly DK and my structures (svrs is right next to me so runs to him too). I spruced up the visitor's area a bit. The biggest addition besides the edging and pathing is a large elevated courtyard with a tiered fountain, which you can see in the imagine just barely, the visitor's shack is blocking it.

I'm working on an Underwater River Ride. I worked out an elaborate means (involving a curtain of gravel which I made drop suddenly 5 blocks deep to let in a torrent of water) of sloping the ocean water into a descending tunnel that intersects with the underground part of my island biosphere. I managed to make the trough deep enough, and the drops shallow enough, that boats are fine to go in (I tested this a few times). The water becomes stagnant a ways in, so you can stop your boat and get out, or keep riding. I'm adding glass tunnels that go out across the ocean floor, and you can just ride your boat through them, hopefully to Wyloch's base at some point. There's also a small docking bay I built that lets you go up into the biosphere.

So yea fun stuff.

Here's an aqueduct that I'm working on in the TWW server. I was going to keep going with it but I think it might be cooler as a waterfall. I made the waterfall out of lava, but when I logged out it disappeared .

Whelp, started the free version in browser (on my mom's computer at home) and decided to dig straight down. Got into some lava and couldn't get out, then tried to load a file to get back to the start and the applet froze. Not a good start

Well, my storage chest just ate 64 iron ingots. I was trying to rearrange my stuff and they just disappeared when I moved them. Sometimes the stuff reappears and is duplicated if you move things too fast. I guess its a glitch but he could leave it in the game and just call it "gambling". It only happens in multiplayer because of lag I guess.

Basically just build and dig in the free version it seems like...hadn't really checked it out much before now. There is a whole inventory system in the pay version.

As far as losing things, that is one of the bugs in multiplayer, sometimes stuff just disappears in chests

Game's pretty stable for me, Wyloch's server was having hiccups earlier.
