that Rome episode was also when she was at her absolute peak of hotness[Edited on September 14, 2010 at 3:02 PM. Reason : guady side of town]

I think I was into Betty when the show started but it fell off pretty quickly over the first season and a half.

I, too, think Don Draper is cool as fuck[Edited on September 15, 2010 at 7:28 PM. Reason : also agree about hating Betty and that she was hot as hell in Rome]

Surprised there was no discussion tonight. Guess all the cool kids were watching Boardwalk Empire. As much as I loved Don's narration of his journal entries last week, I'm really glad that he had "writers block" this week. They didn't need to make that a weekly thing, IMO, it was just perfect as a one-off last week. I didn't enjoy this episode as much as last weeks, but that is probably because Don was basically a secondary character this week. It was still a great episode though. Looks like next week will be quite action packed based on the previews. Can't wait.

I just started watching this show not that long ago, and have been continually amazed. This weeks I found to be particularly good. A lot of the show was exchanged through looks and scenes, rather than the lines themselves. I really enjoyed how the three women were paired up time and time again, and how the doctor was phased out of focus when the brunette grabbed sally and sally was okay. This is my favorite season by far, which is atypical for season 4 of a show.

Not sure what I thought of last night's episode, not as gripping as the week before.

9/26/2010 10:02:36 PM
^ i'm guessing that question was answered for you.things fall apart. good episode though.also, wonder if they couldn't get the actual beatles song for the end credits?[Edited on September 26, 2010 at 11:26 PM. Reason : .]

Don's new hotness secretary is the chick with the enormous tits in hot tub time machine. The 60s clothes hides those tits well

It took about three seconds on GIS to find her titsI'm sure you have access to the same internet]
9/27/2010 8:22:46 AM
that was a really good episode. i thought for a second there don was going to end up in the hospital and everything was gonna go to shit.
9/27/2010 10:27:12 AM
So what is he going to do after his "I'm tired of running" talk?
9/27/2010 1:50:17 PM
Sterling Cooper Draper Whitman Pryce
9/27/2010 1:58:58 PM
^4 I understand this may be hard for someone without a job to comprehend, but not all of us at work can freely GIS that sort of thing. I found it intriguing that Pryce, for being a grown ass man, is such a wuss and can't stand up to his father who is a full jump across the pond away.

Alex Mack was just on thurr.
10/3/2010 10:08:38 PM
andddddd... he's back
10/3/2010 10:56:00 PM
I gotta say I was really disappointed that Don reverted back to his typical man-whoreish self. Right when you want to have compassion for his character and want to see his life improve, he regresses like a drug addict. Oh well...lets see how he fucks it up this time.
10/4/2010 1:38:31 AM
well I can't say he fucked up. I'm mostly concerned about him starting to drink more again, however, he at least has the women in his life watching out for how much he drinking he does.I can't say he fucked up because he thought things were over with that one woman and the other one seems to care about him and knows how to set her own limits. Since either option is a good choice, being involved with either can't really be considered a fuck up.
10/4/2010 8:58:21 AM
Why was Roger such a douche about the Lucky Strike business?
10/4/2010 10:45:29 AM
^i'm wondering the same thing. i just started watching this season so i wasn't sure if i was missing some info from previous seasons or what...
10/4/2010 11:42:35 AM
What have taken away from it is Roger feels Lucky Strike is his because having that power house of an account reinforces his self-worth. Roger didn't want Pete on the account because Pete's presence would could possibly over shadow him. Last week was a really big slap to the face because he was reminded by the client that he inherited that account. Roger is probably on the way out and will be a guest character more next season in the same vein as Burt Cooper has been this season.

You guys notice how Don's secretary died a few weeks ago, but then this week he had sex with herWeird man]
10/5/2010 12:01:26 AM
Its going to tie in with the new zombie series I think. That and the whole storyline about Don being a communist.
10/5/2010 12:44:28 AM
The part with Peggy getting "kissed" like that was meaningful, I think.I started to get pissed that they're just getting into this ridiculous stuff now. It seems random that all of the sudden dudes are ramping up their harassment to obscene levels. But it ultimately adds up. I suspect a lot of this extreme shit didn't start occurring that often until women earned more and more power in the office, and the men felt threatened. Furthermore, Peggy wasn't subjected to a lot of this stuff before because the men in the office saw her come up, and she earned some respect in that way. These season 4 guys are new, and they're all, "Who the fuck is this Peggy bitch? And Joan is a slut!" It used to just be childish remarks about Peggy's size, which are really bad, but it wasn't mouth assault. I wonder if Peggy can somehow leverage this stuff in her favor. And women in general are coming out of their shells more at this time. So dudes go to college with women who are all free to have fun, and the dudes loved it, I imagine. But then they have to readjust to the work setting where women are like, "Uhhh, this is an office. I expect some respect."[Edited on October 5, 2010 at 12:19 PM. Reason : sss]

And I read Geppetto's comment before watching Sunday's show.I watched the whole episode, wondering which firm Roger was gonna jump to.
