Funny show, if a little bit too self-referential and over the top. Whatever happened to the british dude from the daily show? Their argument on the football field was great.

I had nothing going on last Thursday so I decided to sit down and watch Community and Parks & Rec going in to it thinking I was going to choose just ONE (time restraints hopefully soon) show to re-watch and begin to follow.

Community didn't get me to even crack a chuckle once... I just didn't like it very much. Parks & Rec made me LOL a few times, but I went in to it leaning towards P&R because I love one of their writers.

Reading this thread, though, is making me think I should give it another try.

its not a show you can just jump into. the beauty of the show is seeing how this group who absolutely have nothing in common or interest in being around one another somehow bond and become a group of friends.
